Nice place in an area that’s being redeveloped. Several good places to eat. A lot of stairs but a unique place.

We loved being able to park once and walk everywhere downtown. The apartment is well decorated, comfortable, and located right in the great of everything.

We had a great stay at Joey's renovated loft in downtown Birmingham, a true piece of history. Walking distance to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and many historic places, directly across the street from a fabulous restaurant (Bistro 218). We appreciated the nearby parking and were grateful for the washer/dryer in the apartment. My husband loved working at the desk by the full-length windows. Note that there is an impressive set of stairs up to the loft, so be prepared to cart your belongings. This wasn't a problem for us, but could affect those who need an ADA-compliant space.

We couldn’t be more pleased with all aspects of this rental. The cleanliness, the open space the light, the climate control, the neighborhood and the host.

We had a blast. This place is perfect for downtown Birmingham. There are lots of great restaurants nearby.

Staying downtown is a delight. There are lots of things to see and do. Alabama Peanut Co, McWayne Center 3D theater and Reed Books for anyone wanting a good read and an delightful conversation- to name a few. This property also offers good dining with in 1-2 blocks right out side the door. With the convenience of parking around the corner its enjoyable to get into the bustle of Birmingham.

The property was clean, easy and relaxing. The common space was lovely and we appreciated the Roku so we could watch a movie our first night. Very convenient to the sights we wanted to visit and the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

Loved Joey's place! Very convenient to restaurants/bars, easy check-in, and he was quick to respond on inquiries, neat layout of space. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to others.

This loft is the perfect spot to mix work and vacation. Such a great location—close to the city’s best restaurants and tourist spots with easy access to freeways and friends in Mountain Brook and shopping in Homewood boutiques. Loved the neighborhood and even the art store located on the street level. Quiet yet in the loop of all the cool things going on in Birmingham. I will book again! Lovely stay. PS. Our toy poodle Louis Vuitton loved his morning walks!

Overall it was an ok stay. Too many stairs!

We were only here for a short time, and wished we would have more time exploring the surrounding area. What we did encounter was a very well kept condo that provided us with all we needed. My favorite part was sitting in the balcony overlooking the street below.

Everything was very comfortable and clean. Check in couldn’t have been easier! Location was central to many great restaurants. Loved being able to open the windows.

This was a great location. We were able to walk to dinner both nights. We walked to our concert at the Legacy Arena very easily. El Barrio Mexican was really good. Rooftop bar is also a place we always visit in town. We will be back!

First time In Birmingham and this property is in the perfect location to explore the culture, history, nightlife and attractions of the town. Full floor loft to ourselves. Historic building w modern upgrades add convenience to the charm. Joey is a great host and communicator. Won’t hesitate to recommend this property and/or stay here again.

This upscale loft is very clean and had everything we needed for a fun weekend in downtown Birmingham. The beds are so comfortable! The kitchen has nice appliances and plenty of supplies. We didn't cook but easily could have. There is a great view of 20th Street out the wall of floor to ceiling windows. The bathrooms had more than enough fluffy towels and washcloths. Everything is new and it has a cool retro vibe. The location is excellent! We walked all over the historic area and across the bridge to the Magic City Rotary Trail. There are many upscale restaurants and themed bars nearby. We really enjoyed the stay! Note: there are two flights of stairs inside the building to the apt doorway so plan accordingly. Still worth it!

Perfect location for what we needed. Parking was close and convenient, check in was easy and the Loft was large for 2 adults. Enjoyed having a full kitchen and washer/dryer available. Only downside was that downtown was largely deserted on Sunday. Had to drive a bit to find things to do. Really enjoyed this space and I’d recommend it if you are looking for something downtown with character.

We rented for two couples visiting Birmingham for the first time over a long weekend - the place was great and very close to everything we wanted to see, with more great restaurants than we could get to in 4 short days!

Our stay was amazing! I was so worried traveling with our dog for the first time. I didn’t want a place that smelled like animals that had been there and it did not. The linens were soft and the beds were very comfortable. He had a beautiful stocked kitchen with dishes and cookware. He even put a tree up for us b/c we were staying there over Christmas.

This apartment was close to a lot of great food and nightlife options. It is in a friendly and safe area downtown and had all the amenities you need with many extra nice touches to make you feel pampered. It will be my first choice again when returning.

it was in a great location to walk to venues for food and entertainment as well as an easy drive to BSC, which is why we were in town. The unit very cool, being in an old unique building downtown and very clean and updated!

Lovely apt within walking distance to several restaurants, the Civil Rights National Monument & Institute and UAB. Took a jog around town without problem. Parking spot is very convenient. A couple minor maintenance issues need to be addressed but the owner was very responsive. It can be a little loud at night on weekends, so make sure you have your white noise app. We would stay here again!

Wife and I enjoyed a downtown surprise birthday trip. Really enjoyed the property. It had a cool vibe and was close to everything downtown.
