Well-equipped, well-maintained, well-located house was just what we needed.

Nice quiet neighborhood with good proximity to beach. Pool and spa were enjoyed by all. Amenities were plentiful and worked as advertised. Host answered all of our inquiries promptly! We would stay there again!

This is a great house in a great location! It had more amenities than any other place I've stayed. We didn't find any area that was unclean, and the owner was easy to communicate with. One thing to note is that the kitchen is on the third floor, which gives a great view for mealtimes and hanging out, but could be a problem for anyone who cannot climb stairs. The owner sent us a detailed floor plan, so it did not come as a surprise, but in case someone misses it in the house description, I thought I would point it out here. We had a great vacation and would heartily recommend this house!

Absolutely Fantastic experience!

The house is beautiful, with everything visitors could want. We loved the third floor living space, with sunrise and sunset views, and decks on both sides to enjoy them from. It's a perfect location in Nag's Head, close to the beach, the sound, stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day as well. Anna is an excellent and communicative property manager!

Every day was an adventure starting with the horse safari, hiking the dunes, fishing pier, all the way down to the Hatteras lighthouse. Stopping alot to photograph birds, sand and sea. A great time was had by all.

This house was exactly what we needed. We were two families doings road trip together with 5 kids (small-teenagers). When we landed at the house we all were happy with the size and the ability to be spread out but still feel cozy and comfortable! The pool and hot tub was relaxing to have and hangout in! The access to the beach (and private beach) were so easy to get to by car or bike! Oh, which having access to on site bicycles and beach supplies made things so much more at ease for the families!!! The house was relaxing at night because you could pick any deck to sit out on and enjoy the sun set or stargazing! If you are a large family or a group looking for a place in OBX this is it! The house is also centrally located on OBX so it gives you the easy option to explore southern part or northern part. We were a family of 4 and 5 and everyone enjoyed their stay! Anna was very resourceful and a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend this house!!!

This property is in a great location and the layout is perfect for a large family or 2 families. It was very clean and so well stocked. Everything is close by so there is an endless list of fun things to do. Lots of games stocked in the house as well as hot tub/pool and pool table. Will hopefully be renting again!

Wonderful place to stay. Anna and Shawn have thought of everything you would need to have a perfect vacation.It is cozy, close to the beach and all of the places you would want to visit on vacation.

Well first, the homeowners were excellent at communicating. I was never worried about reaching out if there was a problem. The home is beautiful and well maintained. So many small details and the house had everything we needed! The house is a great location and we were able to walk to the beach and a short drive to so many restaurants, stores, and activities. I would definitely stay here again!

Anna did so much to make our stay easy and fun. I have never had such a seamless Vrbo stay in which the house was also so well equipped. Anna really cares about her guests, and it shows! Thanks so much for everything, Anna!

We had an excellent time at Sundog House! The gift basket at check in was a welcome touch and the additional amenities like beach gear, towels, aromatherapy items and more allowed us to relax and connect rather than worry about bringing all kinds of stuff with us from home.

I cannot express how happy my family and I were and how much we enjoyed our stay at the Gimpel’s house! Everything was perfect! Anna thought of everything to make our stay truly special. This house has it all…..great pool, hot tub, pool table, plenty of bathrooms and space for everyone. Short two block walk to beach. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone wanting all the comforts of home and then some! Anna is also so responsive and helpful! Loved, loved, loved our stay here! What an absolutely amazing week we had in Nags Head with the Sundog house. The house was immaculate, had something for everyone, I don’t think there was anything more they could have done to make us feel welcome and at home. There was a welcome basket waiting for us, the beach was literally a 5 minute walk away and the amenities in the house were just as advertised, which we all got great use out of during the week, from the pool and the hot tub, to the pool table to just chilling around a fire in the back yard. The owners were easily accessible for any questions or issues. I just can’t say enough great things about this location. Next time we’re down here we will absolutely stay in this home again!!

This house was perfect for our stay in Nags Head! It was a short walk to the beach, and their beach wagon was very helpful. The pool and hot tub were the perfect place to hang after a day on the beach. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. They had tons of beach towels. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. And Anna was extremely responsive with any issues! Overall, a great stay!

Beautiful spacious home with good amenities. The owners were very responsive and helpful to address any issues immediately. The walk to the beach while not far requires crossing a pretty major road and if you have a lot of children/older people you may want to make a few trips to drive them which is what we did. The home is well stocked with everything you could need. Also the home is nice in the pictures but its much nicer in person. And the pool table was an added plus!

Definitely as advertised. We had a 4, 5, and 6 year old along with our larger family here--the house was perfect for it. The layout was nice (the bunk even has a third trundle), lots of bathrooms, and the 3 floors allowed for enough privacy for each smaller family. We always like staying around the area...close to all the action, easy access to amenities.

House was great and having the pool as well as the hot tub as amenities is a huge plus when vacationing with kids. House is spacious and cozy and made for a great family vacation!

First off, the communication from Anna was amazing. It was our first trip to OBX, she shared with us her favs which made planning all that easier as we have infant/toddlers. The house was super accommodating for our family. We had enough space, enough bedrooms, and multiple fridge was a big help. More than that, the house was over and beyond stocked from linens to beach accessories. We loved the closed in pool and hot tub as the sand was too hot for our little ones. Highly recommend this property for your OBX stay.

We just returned for a fantastic holiday at the Sundog in Nags Head. Anna was a lovely host. She was super communicative and welcoming. The house was as good or better than the listing. It was very comfortable for my extended family and the private pool was the icing on the cake. The beds were very comfortable and well appointed with soft linens. The house is very well maintained and a quick walk (across a fairly busy road) to the beach. We could not have asked for a better stay.

We stayed as a family of 11 in this amazing house. Age range 75 to 4. The house is exactly as the pictures show it, so beautiful! So many conveniences that Anna provides including shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispensers in the shower, laundry detergent, assortment of coffees, creamer, teas, spices and cooking spray. Made packing for this trip a breeze. The outdoor amenities were our favorite part. The pool, hot tub, porches on both sides of the house to enjoy the breezes and sound system that was equipped with outside speakers to enjoy while swimming was fantastic. They had a large assortment of pool toys and we left our floats including a unicorn blow up there for future quests to enjoy! There was bikes, which we enjoyed biking to Jennettes Pier and the walk to the beach was so easy with the use of the beach wagon supplied by the host, along with umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and sand toys! Many guests are encouraged to leave unopened snacks and drinks. They also have filtered water to drink there. A Walmart was right down the road to grab groceries for your stay. I would highly recommend grabbing some Duck Donuts for breakfast one morning, soooo good!

Absolutely a wonderful property 5 min walk to the beach a mile to the golf course, dunes & grocery store. Anna was great and helpful the whole time! Great amenities, pool, hot tub & pool table! Thank you Anna!!

The house was absolutely beautiful! It definitely trumped our expectations. The house was clean and had so many extra amenities including cornhole boards, bikes, coolers, and more that made our stay so fun! Short drive or walk to beach access. Anna is so great and stayed in contact with us the whole time. We will definitely be coming back to the house!! Thank you!!

GreaT property, would rent again

We enjoyed our stay at the house very much. We had lots of room for everybody to spread out and enjoyed the many balconies. Getting to the beach was so convenient, but we also enjoyed swimming in the pool. Anna was easy to get a hold of if we had questions, and we would definitely rent from her again. We would highly recommend this home.

All onsite amenities were in working order and our group had no trouble finding everything we needed throughout our stay. Anna stayed in contact the entire time. The house was set up perfectly. We did not have to bother her for anything during the stay. There waals plenty of space, and having the pool was a huge plus after a long day on the golf course.I would love to be able to stay here again on my next golf trip to Nags Head!
