The place was beautiful and the owner guy was lovely but the lady for the bookings was very strict on early checkin. 3pm check in and check out 11am is pretty crap and even on request they would not allow early check in. Cant see how it would take 4 hours to clean 1 x house unless someone trashed it. wish i had a tv as the wifi was not great my phone just would not connect. Everything else was amazing so thank you.

Thank you Paul and Abei for a lovely stay. It was the perfect getaway, we had such a relaxing weekend and couldn't recommend it enough. The fireplace was magical! We will definitely be back. Thanks again.

What a total escape from city life! Surrounded by nature and birdsong. Old and quant but so comfortable and clean. We especially loved our night in front of the open fire and the big comfy bed and pillows. Would highly recommend staying here!

What a lovely little home surrounded by trees and silence. We had 2 small children and it was just as relaxing if it was just the adults.

A very enjoyable stay in Perth’s hills on a cold winter night. Paul had the fire going before we arrived, so the Getaway was already warm and welcoming. The fire easily heated upstairs and down. A lovely stay with beautiful bush surrounds!

This property is such a little gem. It was great to feel like you were out of the city without going too far. Such a beautiful cozy retreat filled with delights. I would love to go back in winter and enjoy the fireplace. The kids loved exploring and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating for anything you need. We would highly recommend it.

Beautifully and tastefully decorated in rich warm jarrah. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway when it’s cold with their beautiful wood fireplace. There’s no TV so you’d better enjoy each other’s company! There’s also not yet a kitchen sink or cooking facilities inside but there’s a great BBQ. The hosts Paul and Abei are just absolutely lovely and provide a little basin for you to put away your dishes which they will take away to wash. The installation of a sink is in the plans though. Highly recommended.
