We had a great stay here with our family. Short drives to Holdiay Valley and Holimont. Made it easy to bring our young children back for a lunch break. The hot tub was a great addition and plenty of space and ample parking.

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how thoughtful and responsive our host was. We celebrated Mom's 75th birthday and combined quality family time with our favorite ski trip. Holiday Valley was just a five minute drive and Ellicottville always has so much to offer: fun little shops and restaurants. The house itself was perfect for us: clean, comfortable and cozy. Master bedroom has an amazing view and a full bath with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. It also has a little nook with a double bed. The kitchen had everything we needed and dining room table with plenty of room for 10 adults to eat and play board games. Living room was cozy with sectional, TV, fireplace and sliding glass doors leading to the best feature: a large deck with hot tub and magnificent view! My young-adult kids claimed the lower level with its queen bedroom, full bath, living room (very soft, comfortable sectional couch), fireplace, TV and access to the patio and backyard. They played hours of blackjack, sitting at the bar and using the casino chips and dice they found there. I love that it was pet-friendly and our little dog had a large back yard to exercise and explore. There is also a nice fenced-in dog park just around the corner. This house would be perfect for any season. We would love to come back and enjoy the outdoor fire pit and local golfing! Highly recommended! Thank you for making our trip stress-free and fabulous!

A perfect spot to relax after skiing all day and night, a well stocked kitchen & well stocked on towels and amenities. The fireplaces were a nice touch as well as the hot tub.

The house was awesome! Very well kept and so much room for everyone. The view out back was gorgeous and the hot tub was super enjoyable and easy to use. The owner was responsive and available to answer any questions. The house is only 7 minutes to the mountain and only 5 minutes to the adorable town of Ellicottville. We highly recommend this house! The house was perfect for our 3 generation holiday ski vacation! Communication with owner was easy and quick. The location is wonderful. Close to stores, restaurants and the slopes. The hot tub was clean and warm when we arrived - and beautiful views. Small niceties were available like dish soap, toilet paper, and laundry. The fireplaces are ideal for a cozy winter night. The kitchen is well stocked with basics and spices. We cooked most nights and played games at the large table. This is our favorite house so far! Definitely recommend!

We went for the weekend with 2 other families for a lacrosse tournament and the house was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Huge back yard with a great fire pit. We would definitely get again. Great House!

Our stay at the Northwood Chalet was, in a word, fantastic. The house was gorgeous and clean. All communication with the owner/George was prompt and courteous. We will definitely be back.

Had a weekend stay for a small bachelorette party and it was perfect. The property was beautiful and matched expectations of the listing. The place was clean, clear instructions were provided and it was close to town!

House was perfect for a relaxing weekend with our group of girlfriends. Sleeping arrangements were easy with a bathroom on each floor. Had a few minor issues but George had quick and thorough communication. Our group would definately stay here again! Ellicottville is charming with little shops and yummy restaurants.

My friends & I rented this home while spending a weekend exploring Ellicottville. We loved using the deck and the hot tub in the evenings. There was lots of space for all of us to enjoy. George was friendly and prompt worth communication when needed. Would recommend for your EVL stay!!

It was cool

Loved the cottage . Bedrooms on different floors was perfect for our 3 families . The hot tub was great for apres ski. Owner was lovely to communicate with. And a family of Deers 🦌 visited every night .

We had such a great time in this house and this little town. It was the perfect location for skiing (Holiday Valley was 10 minutes away), close to some shopping and rental equipment! The house was perfectly equipped and the exact size - actually had more space than anticipated - that we needed! And Mr. Carroll was always available. I contacted him a few times with questions or concerns and he got back to me ASAP! I would definitely rent this place again! Had a fantastic time!

Location was perfect. On the out skirt of EVL on a no outlet street. This property offers privacy and epic views of the night lit slopes of HVSR from the back deck and hot tub. Slightly disappointed with main floor fireplace not working. For the expense of the cleaning fees: there were afew juice box containers left in the backyard ( litter) and also found a ring at the bottom of my coffee mug . supposed to be a clean mug from cupboard. For the cleaning fee to be sooo excessive I would expect clean dishes and no litter on the property.

We had a great stay. Lots of room for everyone. Nice to have 3 full bathrooms and a big basement for the kids to hang out. The hottub was beautiful with great views!! Host was helpful as well and responded quickly.

While we were very excited about our stay based on snow fall in Buffalo and winter temps. We only got in one day of skiing. The second day temps were too warm and rains came. House is fine! Well equipped kitchen despite it being small to actually cook. Large table in dining room which was great for meals and game playing. Master shower is awesome! Beds were comfy. Perhaps a larger tv in master would be nice too. Basement was our favorite and very easy to take out the two small dogs that we brought. Overall a very nice trip just a bit too warm for winter sports!

Amazing, well kept property that is true to the listing. Location was excellent for enjoying the town and local skiing. House offered all we needed to enjoy Christmas weekend in Ellicottville. Also, the property owner is responsive and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay - even setting up a Christmas tree before check in for my two year old niece.

We booked this property for our father’s 70th bday. Beautiful property with a hot tub and fire pit. Multiple gas fireplaces inside too - very cozy. About a 20 minute walk to the village which was also very convenient. Highly recommend!
