The Spirit of the Rock was everything the listing said, and more! The location was central to many wonderful hikes and ATV adventures as well as an easy day trip to Lake Powell, Lower Antelope Canyon, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion NPs. We took full advantage of all of the above. The house itself was sparkling clean, well equipped and very comfortable for my husband and me when we were alone, and for the extended family while they were with us. I do wish there was a recycling bin available, but I suspect that is because the Town of Kanab does not offer recycling with its weekly trash pick-up. Kanab itself was a quick 4 minute ride into town with its many restaurants and shops. The view of the beautiful red-rock mountains from the back yard patio couldn't be beat. Hope we can come back some day! 5 stars!!!

We absolutely loved our Kanab stay! I wish we could go back right now 😊 We will definitely be back, as there is so much to do and to see that we could not cover in our 5 day trip! The house is beautiful… So spacious, high ceilings, huge rooms, tasteful décor. So clean! Like new :) Very nice, light, large kitchen/dining/living area, with the access to pretty backyard, with fire pit/grill, outdoor dining table and gas grill. This red hill on the background is breathtaking! The house is in a short drive from multiple natural wonders, such as Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon North Rim (will open in mid May), Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River, Antelope Canyon – all from 30 min to 1.20 hr from the house!… Many fun places around Kanab, too – pink sand dunes, multiple caves, hikes, toadstool hoodoos, etc, etc… Very nice grocery store at the town (few minutes drive from the house), restaurants, museums, fun little and big places to check out. The manager deserves separate admiration and huge thank you!! All our questions were answered IMMEDIATELY!! First time I experienced such service! Really really impressed, so appreciated it Micah! Clean, spacious, great location

Highly recommended!! Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet custom home in upscale neighborhood. Nice yard. Great kitchen. Good communication from hosts.

Everything went great, and was very simple. We had a great time!

Master bedroom suite was awesome, but had a soft, saggy bed that was not conducive to a good night's sleep. Check in was smooth, but upon arrival there was a note on a chair along with a bag of screws that stated they had fallen out. There was a toilet seat broken, doors that squealed, the washing machine had a bad odor, and other minor issues. The patio and views from same are awesome. The neighborhood was quiet and the home very comfortable. If the maintenance issues are resolved, this would be a great property.

We enjoyed the home. The back porch and fire pit topped off a perfect stay.

We gave this a 5 star rating. This was a beautiful, large, upscale house with all the amenities. The location was close to town in a wonderful neighborhood. This was a perfect house for our family vacation. We would definitely recommend this house.

We enjoyed everything about this property! The house itself was amazing and the location was perfect. We went to the Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon in three days. Kanab is a wonderful town!

This property had everything you need to just walk in and start your vacation. It was so comfortable none of us wanted to leave. Kanab had everything to offer everyone in our group. From hiking to thrift shops, every one was happy! We definitely will be back again. Hosts were fantastic. Larry Erdman was extremely helpful.

The house was very spacious and clean. The house was stocked with everything you would expect. Our only complaint is that some of the beds were not very comfortable and may need replaced.
