They told us we would have a king size bed.. We had a queen size bed

When reading reviews a lot of times I think people might be over exaggerating or too particular but previous people were spot on with this rental! First, there was a lack in communication when I had to pay and I had to reach out to the company for check in instructions. Not a huge deal but I’m used to rental properties being more commutative and on top of sending information. Second, the location is AMAZING! Being able to walk to the beach and Newport shops was the best! Third, with that being said I wouldn’t stay at this rental again. The cleanliness was poor! When we arrived I wiped down switches, doorknobs and handles and it was disgusting! My wipe was black! I have a background in commercial cleaning and this place needs new cleaners! It looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a few years. A magic eraser is your friend for the filthy walls and door jams. We spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up and again the paper towels were black. The bunk bed room does have a strong urine smell as someone previously said in a review. My son lost a Disney pin somewhere so while looking for it I was again grossed out by hidden dust, dirt and grim. And, my mothers pillowcase had old makeup on it. Fourth, bring earplugs!!!! People previously complained about hearing everything from people on the street to tenants above. They weren’t wrong! The last thing you want after an exhausting day at Disney or exploring is to lay in bed listening to the guy upstairs brushing his teeth or the construction on the building next door. Lastly, just a few added things like ziploc baggies, plastic wrap, and a few basic spices would be greatly appreciated to make life easier.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location to the beach was awesome. The house offered many amenities (i.e. Beach towels, chairs, sand toys, umbrella and boogie boards). Can I put in a plug for some beach cruisers ;)!!! That would just take this home over the top, but everything else needed was there. Thanks for opening up your home to us. We loved it and will bookmark it for our annual family trip.

Super central location. Great amenities. Checkout time at our hotel in Anaheim was noon so we arrived at 1:00. We are a family of 8, including my 82 yr old mom. We were allowed to park in our designated parking spot and we put all our luggage in the car. Although checkout at the house is 10:00, cleaning crew arrives at 3:00 but crew did their best and finished at 4:00. Unit is as described. Weekend nights are a bit busy. One night there were bright police lights in front of unit for a long time. We liked the central location for our large group but may try something further south for our next visit. All in all it’s a beautiful beach and we had a great time!

We came to California for a family wedding. After leaving the wedding we were able to stay just 2 nights at this home. It was just a few feet from the beach, shops, and restaurants. It was spacious and clean. It also had baby equipment we needed for our infant. We wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely come again.

Steps away from the sand- great location! We were there for 4th of July and couldn’t of been any happier. Walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, rentals for bikes/scooters. Specific designated parking spot which was SUPER IMPORTANT for that busy area! Management instantly replies to any text I sent (general questions) and access to boogie boards, beach towels and beach chairs. We were very happy staying at this property.

This was perfect location to Beach, Newport Beach Pier and all the shops and restaurants. It fir our family of 8 perfect.

We had a blast. This location is perfect! Very clean, very cozy! Wish the king bed was in the room with the ensuite! Overall, we will rave about it and come back for sure!

The location was great! Very walkable to beach, dining, and shopping. The Rental unit was clean and had everything you will need. Comfortable. If your party has 2 vehicles, the street parking can be difficult. Also need to remember to move your car on the designated street cleaning day or you will be ticketed by the city.

Clean and well maintained. Great to be just a few steps from the beach and walking distance from restaurants.

This property is located so close to the beach. It is also within very close walking distance to so many food places and shops. It was incredibly convenient. Check in was a breeze. It was super comfortable and stocked with so many things that made our stay so very easy. For instance, they had: a pack and play, a baby booster seat with tray, sun umbrellas, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, beach towels, & a kitchen stocked with appliances and cookware, etc. We had such a wonderful time, and would go back in a heartbeat.

Management company was great to work with, location is everything and this place was worth every penny. They have chairs, boogie boards, cooler and umbrellas you can use on the beach. You are literally on the beach in less than 30 seconds when exiting this property. Also, having a designated parking spot at this part of Newport is absolute gold! Will be staying here again!

We would definitely rent this condo again!! Beautiful condo, Perfect location, very clean and had everything we needed for our family.

Grandkids enjoyed going to the beach most days if no prior activity had been scheduled. Did not spend hours driving to Disneyland & Medieval Times. Restaurants were within a short walk or drive. Beds were comfortable, parking convenient, and the unit provided a great place to end the day. During our stay the master bathroom shower drain backed up. A call to the property manager was quickly returned and the problem diagnosed as a clogged hair trap which was quickly cleaned. There was a sufficient number of towels provided as well as TP, but it would have been nice to have access to facial tissues. Although the property was not dirty it did not appear "sanitized", particularly the light switches. Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay and the ease of getting around.

This is a busy corner with street parking available. The unit was as described and we were very pleased with our stay!

Did I mention location? Clean, had a lot of essential kitchen supplies and beach supplies.

We loved the easy access to the beach, pier, and favorite places to eat! Property was very nice and we all were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, however, in the bedroom with the bunk beds, the mattresses smelled of urine.(maybe the bedding?)That has to be fixed! New mattresses and waterproof mattress covers is a must! Otherwise a very nice property!

The home was very clean and very close to the beach. It had all the amenities you could ever need for a week at the beach. The property manager was very quick to respond to any requests.

Our family had an amazing time staying here and our expectations were surpassed. There was an issue with the WiFi and unfortunately a member of our group had to leave early as they had planned to work out of the rental but the owner worked hard in trying to fix the problem and stated he would give us a refund. He was also very easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions in a timely manner.

Everything was great! The only problem was the floors were dirty, and you could tell they hadn't been mopped.

Perfect location and great house

I hate giving great reviews because that will increase competition. I will be staying here again, so the rest of you stay away from my dates! I guess I'll have to book a year in advance! Perfect location. Love the ground floor and parking. Comfortable layout. Very clean and updated. So many rentals in this area are filled with leftover furniture from Grandma's basement. Not this one. The only "relic" is the non-smart flat screen TV. First world problem, I know, especially since s beautiful beach is 40 steps away.

Walk to beach and restaurants and everything else!

Super ground floor apartment 50 yards or so from the beach. Full kitchen, parking right outside your door. Very short walk to cafe's bars and restaurants. Loved it within 30 seconds of walking in.
