Had a wonderful stay at Osprey Nest. The home is perfect for a family gathering, with lots of space for getting together but also with a layout that allows for plenty of privacy when desired. Check in was seemless and easy, the host was there when needed and invisible otherwise, and the house/grounds were exactly as described and had everything you could want. You cannot go wrong staying here.

This was a perfect location for a fall beach wedding and lovely reception area. Because of our large numbers we had the need for more bathrooms! But lovely house! 10/17/23 Marsha

This vacation spot did not disappoint, even with hurricane Lee looming. Our group was worried as Lee was meant to be at its worst during the long weekend of our stay, but the communication with the homeowner and property manager was great- including sharing that the house has a generator - so we headed to the destination. The house was loaded with entertainment options and stocked with everything we needed, and then some! The weather ended up being a non-issue, so we were able to just enjoy the beauty of the huge property outside as well. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and fun. I would highly recommend this rental and we’ll certainly visit again!

We had a great weekend stay here. It's a gorgeous property and our short stay was not long enough to do all activities this property has to offer. Can't wait to come back. PS..the shower turns into a steam room! Awesome!

House and location are both fantastic Grey for if you love quite place and nature

This is our second stay here. As with the first time, it did not disappoint. The house is fantastic, and the private beach is wonderful. We had a large group that consisted of adults and children. There was plenty of room for everyone, and something for everyone to do. The host is responsive to any issues and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this property.

We had the most amazing stay at this property. We hosted a small wedding in the backyard and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. Brian and his house manager were super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. The pictures of this home do not do it justice!! Our family and friends could not stop saying how awesome the space was. We truly had the most amazing week. The fire pit, private beach and backyard in general were put to good use! Our pup loved running around the yard. An incredible week - highly recommend. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a great time celebrating our small wedding at Brian and Leah's house. The house and setting was beautiful and the owners were easy to work with. We especially enjoyed being able to have our dogs with us and have our own private beach area. We would love to stay again in the future!

Worth every penny! The house is gorgeous and very well maintained and the amenities are top-notch. We could not get over the private beach! Soft, white sand, beautiful views, and easy to get to with the golf cart. We hosted a wedding reception in the backyard, and the property owner was happy to work with us. Both the owner and property manager were both very responsive and made the whole process super easy. We would love to come back every summer with family and friends, cannot recommend enough!

The Osprey Nest was nothing short of Amazing! Everything you could ask for and all the things you didn’t even know you needed! Our host, Brian is an incredible person. So gracious and hospitable. Both Brian and his house Manager, Susan were available to us by phone for ANYTHING we needed during our stay. The location cannot be beat, Peace and tranquillity- not to mention daily wildlife sightings that took our breath away! This is the type of place I thought only existed in fairy tales. We hosted a small backyard wedding on the property. When we arrived there was some plumbing issues, but the manager was able to get a plumber on site within the hour. Once that was settled we had an amazing time with friends and family. The house is in a great location, and it was a nice venue to host a relaxed wedding. So many beautiful spots on the property for professional photos. Grateful to have this as apart of our memory for years to come.

My wife and I decided that this was the perfect venue to host our small wedding. Our immediate families stayed at the Osprey's Nest for 5 nights around our wedding weekend. We could not have had a more perfect stay. The location was beautiful and we really lucked out with great weather. Our wedding ceremony was on the beach, with the reception in the backyard on the volleyball court. The golf cart was great! Brian was extremely helpful throughout our entire process, even coordinating with us to come by to see the house before we officially booked. He was so incredibly helpful with all of our questions, and helped make our wedding absolutely flawless. We would love to come back for future family reunions, as this property will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you again!

The Osprey Nest was the perfect location to have our small wedding along with a post mini vacation. It was a huge plus we were able to bring our dog along, too. The golf cart was definitely helpful and we loved gathering around the fire pit at night. Also, it’s in the perfect location if you want to leave and explore the cape or even take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.

We are a family of seventeen who had plenty of space in this home. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. Access to the beach is easily reached on foot, however use of the golf cart made it easy to bring supplies and small children. The two kayaks were used frequently by young and old. The setting is relaxing and scenic. We had a photographer from Pocasset take our family photos here so this place will always be special to us. The owner and property manager was easily accessible. We had a fabulous week at the Osprey Nest!

The photos were completely accurate but still didn’t do the house justice! The place was amazing. The house, the backyard, the beach, the dock, it was all as we expected and so much more. The host was amazingly responsive to any issues that came up and went above and beyond with the host hospitality. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone considering their next vacation.

Overall, we had a really great stay and the property was a beautiful place to host our wedding! However, we did run into issues with the well malfunctioning and the golf cart breaking down, to which the property manager and owner were very responsive. We later learned that the previous guest also had problems with the golf cart, so I do wish that this known issue had been disclosed prior to our stay rather than after we reached out with the problem.

We rented the Osprey Nest for our wedding week and had the most incredible time! The house was spotless, the amenities were incredible (surround sound speakers throughout the house, incredible master bath with steam shower, outdoor bar/grill) the scenic walk down to the mostly-private beach was only about 3 minutes and an awesome golf cart is also available to be used if needed. All of our friends stayed over and were extremely comfortable, especially since there are so many fun hangout areas around the house both inside and out to socialize and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings! The owner Brian and house manager were also extremely easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We truly had the most perfect experience and would love to book this house for any future events or vacations for years to come!

Stunning home with all the luxury you could ask for. All bedrooms are super comfortable with nice bedding. Kitchen is well equipped. We had a group of family members rent and there was plenty of room to spread out. The outdoor patio off the kitchen was enclosed enough that even during subpar weather we could sit outside and were protected from the elements. Brian was very attentive and always responded right away. The only thing that felt a tad strange was the outdoor cameras, the house was completely private the end of the road however the outdoor cameras made it feel a little less private. I would highly recommend this property, we all had a great experience

Had a fantastic 10d stay with 9 kids and 9 adults during the winter. Nice variety of accommodations and good space for whole group and small group activities. Nice space to cook too. Beach is beautiful and walking distance

I held my small wedding at this property and stayed for a week. It was incredible and we enjoyed our stay very much. The house was spacious, clean, and very high tech! We enjoyed the giant TVs, pool table, and chef’s kitchen. I highly recommend this home as a place to host a small wedding, family reunion, or anything else. The home is impressive inside and out and Brian and Susan were great to communicate with and were incredibly accommodating to myself and my vendors, and I am very appreciative. Fair warning: the home is in a beautiful nature preserve and there were a lot of bugs, so bring your bug spray!

We stayed here for our wedding! Not only did we have a beautiful beach ceremony, but we’re able to create a dream reception venue. It’s quaint, but luxurious. We had the best time with our friends and family thanks to Brian and Susan for accommodating all our needs. They communicated very well throughout the entire process and gave great guidance. If you are planning to host a large event just keep in mind there are parking restrictions and limited availability with trash, so plan accordingly =) thanks guys!

We stayed two weeks end of August 2021. We were delayed arriving from Naples, FL due to a Hurricane/Tropical Storm, first of two for our stay, but our children from Boston arrived one day late. The house is outstanding with lots of space and the wi-fi is terrific. There were numerous issues, however and although the property manager was responsive, via text, as was the owner, some issues did not get resolved timely. AC was out in areas of the house, and was promptly fixed. The wonderful 6-burner kitchen gas stove has issues with one burner out and others with starter problems, which were never resolved, due to inability to find a repair service until September. Certain light fixtures did not work. The beautiful, and large fridge could not maintain proper temperature. The TV's are "smart" and difficult for 70-something folks to operate. Our daughter in law is tech savvy and it helped, but it is a very difficult system to navigate, certainly not like good old-fashioned cable TV. One night, at about 3am, the fire alarm went off. It is an excellent system with a loud, very loud, warning to "evacuate" by voice and horn, but it was a false alarm. We did not have the security code to disarm, and neither did the property manager via text. The local fire department arrived and said "this isn't the first time". Finally the property manager "guessed" at the code, and the system was disarmed. We went to use the large, and expensive outdoor gas grill and it was beyond filthy, seemingly not cleaned all summer. This should be caught upon end-of-stay inspection. Owner did send two repair staff over but it took them two full days to clean the grill. They thought it was a 10-year old grill it was so filthy, but it was new this year! We never got to use it. The owner is new, and new to VBRO and has invested heavily in the property with high end appliances, and a new golf cart delivered the day before we departed, but the little things need attention, especially at this in-season price point. We've rented similar homes the past few years, but out in Chatham on the Cape. Every home, especially the older ones, has some minor things happen, but it just seemed this home had more than normal glitches. I'm sure Brian will see to it that things are much improved in the future. He seems engaged and I wish him the best.
