We had a wonderful time at the property! It was clean and had everything we needed. The high point was the pool! We spent most of our time there. It was clean and refreshing on the hot Florida days. The location was beautiful, as well. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

We had the best time staying at this beautiful property! The kids loved swimming in the pool and watching the manatee off the dock. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the dock drinking our coffee and closing out the day with a glass of wine. The new black stone made it super easy to cook our fresh caught fish. My kids said the only issue is they wanted to stay longer. Cannot wait to go back! Thank you Divina!

Divina was a great host for our stay in Key Colony Beach. The property is right on the water with a beautiful pool to relax the day away. Close to other local beaches and a beautiful view of the sunset from the front of the house.

Overall this is a nice property. The outside is great! The pool, hot tub, and tiki bar are perfect and provided a lot of enjoyment! The owners are great and very accommodating. When we arrived the pool was very chilly and when we asked, they turned the heat on which made all the difference! The dock access was a lot of fun for fishing and sea watching. We saw dolphins and all kinds of fish. The location is also terrific. We were close to all kinds of activities...fishing, beaches, tons of restaurants, and even a day trip to Key West. The inside of the property was smaller than we expected. The kitchen is tiny! We used it mainly for snacks and breakfast, it would be challenging to prepare a meal in such a small space. We were there with another couple and because of the size and configuration it was loud. In one of the bedrooms the wall doesn't touch the ceiling so you can hear everything going on in the unit. Also the doors on the other bedroom are not solid, they are louvered (with slats) so it was also very loud and hard to tune out what was happening in the rest of the unit. We spent most of our time outside in pool area or on the go so it was ok.

We loved the outdoors at this house. Nice pool, great hot tub, nice cabana bar with grills and large ice machine, area to sit by the water with small dock. We enjoyed our time outside there. The house was small. Only one at a time could be in kitchen. Nice table and chairs outside; only two chairs with table inside. Bedrooms were roomy and each had a bathroom. First bathroom is outside the bedroom. Biggest problem is the first bedroom does not have its inside wall up to ceiling causing those occupants from hearing everything throughout the house. We did overall have an enjoyable time. The house was at a nice location in the Keys.

The outside area was perfect with the pool and dock. We were able to rent a boat and dock it right at the house. Ran in to other guest just once during our stay no issues with that at all.

We had a couples trip in which husbands wanted to fish and the wives wanted to tan and read by the pool. It was a great place to have both and a very short walk to Sharky’s which we always love to go to when in the Keys. Davina was a great communicator and we will for sure be back!

We loved our stay. The place was exactly as listed. The outdoor area was amazing. We had a slight issue with the pool heater but Davina and Brian went out of their way to fix it and make it right. Within walking distance to some great restaurants.
Great view from the pool and dock area. The only thing I didn't love was the pillowtop mattress. Those just aren't great for my back. But we would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful area! and so close to area attractions. The property is top notch as well as the owners!!! So very nice, responsive and generous. This is such a great place to come and unplug. From the start Davina was very helpful with information to make bringing our boat a breeze. Casa Marcela was very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. We had a great time cooking steaks on the grill, night fishing from the dock, boating, fishing, exploring the area, swimming, and playing games. Thank you!

Everything about this stay was perfect. We loved the pool, especially my little almost 4 year old… he practically grew gills with all of the hours he spent swimming.
The facilities make for a really enjoyable
Time spent together. Being able to cook outside instead of being separated from your crew… watching the planes and the boats go by.

This place was far more that we expected. It was beautiful. The pool and dock made our trip. Everyone could do their own things. Will stay again. The owners were great to work with and they checked to make sure our needs were met!

We stayed at this property for six nights. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Close to town for fun activities. When we were not downtown the backyard space was relaxing and fun with a very private feel to it. The manager was very friendly and had a great attention to detail. We are already looking to come back next year.

This is the best place to stay. Davina was very friendly, helpful, check on us to see if we needed anything. The location was great. So nice and peaceful. This place has everyhing you could need. Very clean. The best part was a manatee came by on 2 different occasions. Made my day. This is the place to stay. I would definitely recommend this place.

We were thrilled with this property. It has everything you could possibly need. The owners take great care of the property and are very attentive to even the smallest details. We've stayed in plenty of places in the Keys that were just trashy and not kept up well at all. That's not the case here at all. The owners clearly love this property and it shows.
Some of the previous reviews mentioned the owners live in the other half of the duplex. They no longer live there, but honestly if they did that wouldn't be a problem at all. They are just awesome people and we really enjoyed talking with them the couple of times we did see them.
This will be our new spot in the Keys going forward. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The space was larger than expected and had many nice touches like phone charging pads,luggage stands, and a variety of dishware. The favorite spot was the back patio where we enjoyed the pool, tiki hut with hanging seats over the pool, and the dock with more seating. The owners really made the property feel homey and warm with the beautiful plants and trees found around the entire property. Extra bonus is an ice machine on property and close to the exit of the canal. Divina was great to communicate with and very hospitable. We would definitely return!

We stayed here about 10 days. Divina or her team came to the outside space almost daily cleaning, restocking, and making sure all was well.
The place was lovely. Slept 6 adults. The beds are real soft. Plenty of kitchen and grill ware. The hottub was iffy but they were working on it. Real responsive to any requests we had.
Make sure you go to sunset beach right down the road...give yourself enough time to ride the bikes down there, maybe drop by the Inn for a beverage.
We went snorkeling to Bahia Honda which was amazing with tons of fish. Reef snorkeling with Captain Pip,(the first morning boat is best as the reef gets crowded) sunset jet skiing tour, enjoyed to local trails.

We stayed 5/25-5/31 and we had the most amazing stay thanks to Davina and Brian. Two of the nicest people you’ve ever met and attentive to all our needs. We used the bikes to cruise around and explore including sunset park just down the street. We kept our 24 ft center console in the back docked, how wonderful to be able to fill up our fish box and cooler every day before fishing then come back to cool off in the pool. We mads pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris every day with their margaritaville blender. We cooked every day on the black stone, which has completely sold us on buying one for ourselves once we get back home. We caught small mangrove snapper on the back dock and almost hooked up on a barracuda twice. The lights by the dock allowed us to see all the different fish swim by. Thank you for allowing us to stay and create so many wonderful memories, we look forward to staying again in the future.

We stayed a total of 5 nights. Wished it could have been longer. When we were at the house, we stayed in the back outside from the time we work up, until the time we went to bed. It was very relaxing. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place. Divina was a great host, answered any questions we had an suggested places to eat and things to do. If we ever go back to Marathon, will definitely stay here.

Our little piece of heaven!!
Divina was super responsive to any questions we had. The home was clean set in quiet neighbourhood making so tranquil to relax.
Everything as described fully stocked with everything, beds comfy but the best part was outside the pool, the tiki bar and the 2 decks which can easily be fished from, they even provide fishing poles if you don’t have your own (we had our own) but even better the dock lights at night and underwater lighting for night fishing was amazing.
Caught a few fish to pass the time. You can also rent a boat locally and dock here too.
Close to all amenities local restaurants and stores,
We ate at the island grill one night and lazy days couple nights (lazy has the most amazing banana bread check them out)

Property as pictured but better in person. Outside grills, bar & TV were ideal for start of March Madness. Dock fishing was a fun easy adventure and pool/hot tub were icing on the cake. Kids enjoyed paddle boarding and so easy to enjoy the sunrise each morning. Definitely want to return.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. I was originally concerned that 1/2 of a duplex might be to small for our family of 5 but it was never an issue. Divina answered our questions quickly and we found the amenities and property description to be as advertised. I wish we had stayed longer so we could have used the kayaks, canoe and bikes that were at the property but it was so enjoyable lounging at the pool we spent hours there just relaxing. We hope to return soon.

My husband and I stayed at this property with our best friends. It was our friend’s milestone birthday and we had a great trip! House was easy to find. Close to many things. A little over an hour to get to Key West. The HEATED pool was a fabulous amenity which we used daily for hours. Property was clean and the owners checked in on us just the right amount! Would definitely stay here again!
