we only stayed one night 5pm-6am on a Wednesday). the apartment was clean and there were plenty of amenities. The neighborhood was quiet, but there were still restaurants and bars in the nearby area. There's a perfect view of the Roanoke Star from the rooftop. Downtown was a but sleepy but not dangerous.

We chose to stay in this location while confirming we want to move to Roanoke. The unit is very clean and nicely stocked with everything you might need. The proximity to downtown is very convenient and there are several venues within in easy walk for food, brews, and even live music. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a great apartment on the second floor of a two-story building a few blocks from downtown. You can drive there in under five minutes or, like my wife and me, walk it in under 15.
The neighborhood feels very safe, and you're just down the block from the police department, in case you'd have any concerns.
The apartment is clean, spacious and bright and includes access to a rooftop patio to enjoy when the weather allows.
If you're coming to the area to hike, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy's regional office is in the same building.

The apartment had the essentials and welcoming extra touches. The king-size was very comfortable, and the sheets and towels were extra-nice. We felt safe walking downtown to restaurants, museums, and shopping. Visiting Wednesday through Friday in July, we were able to park in the gravel lot to the left of the building. I would recommend this loft to friends!

This is a great spot - cute, clean, and comfy! Great location for walking to downtown Roanoke restaurants, shops, and some local breweries. Host was very welcoming and gave great feedback throughout the rental, preparation, and stay. Very well appointed with all the things we could imagine we’d need, and more! Thoughtful snacks, coffee and tea bar in the kitchen. Nice toiletries in the spacious bath. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. We enjoyed local hikes in addition to downtown Roanoke. Great place would definitely stay again. You will be glad if you stay here too!

A great 2nd floor apartment for a couple with wonderful outdoor patio- on the roof- inn a nice neighborhood- walkable with nice restaurants/bars, and a short walk to the center of town.

Excellent property just as described! Easy walking distance to downtown which is quaint with great dining options and boutique shopping! There is a yoga studio right across the street too! The property manager and host addressed an issue we had with the lock very quickly! Great communication and overall A++! Highly recommend!

Short Getaway
My husband and I stopped in Roanoke on our way to Gatlinburg. This was a perfect place to stay. Affordable and within walking distance to everything. Only negative thing was that there wasn’t a parking lot. There is a parking garage a few blocks away and it was only $8 for unlimited parking so not bad at all.
We would definitely stay again. Stephen is a great host and answered questions right away.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
This apartment in downtown Roanoke was clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything. My son and I came down for a short stay and had access to everything we needed. Stephen and Alex from Garland properties were fantastic to deal with. Very quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this property if you were going to the area.
