Had a great time. Had a party of 12 and had plenty of room and stuff for everyone to so and enjoy.

This home is beautifully laid out and very well appointed in so many ways. The beds were so comfortable. Loved the large, round kitchen table for interactive dinners and games together while overlooking the lake. We rented a pontoon one of the days and docked it at our dock in the afternoon while the babies napped. This is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We were even visited every day by a deer and her twin fawns. Later we enjoyed the campfire in the evenings and the lawn games provided.

This was our third year staying at this home. It's perfect for our family. We love the location on a beautiful lake between St. Germain and Minocqua, very close to the bike path. We're returning next year!

Our group of 8 adults vacationed to St. Germain for our annual snowmobile trip. We were not able to snowmobile due to the rare winter this region experienced this year, however the location for this type of activity would have been perfect. The trail system is extremely close to this property. This home is beautiful and well maintained. There was plenty of space for us all to enjoy our vacation comfortably. We could have easily fit another couple with us. The 3 full showers was very helpful. The home is well organized with specific signage that helps maintain that organization. It is obvious this home is run by a vacation company.
Unfortunately, through Vacasa you are not able to directly connect with the homeowner. We had some specific questions and requests and the additional hoops to jump through made our experience with Vacasa a bit more challenging then other experiences we have had.
A few notes before you go - the beds are firm, not a huge deal, but was certainly something we did not expect. We did not bring trailers but would have needed 2 if the trails were open. We did have a few conversations about how (or if) they would have fit in the parking areas. You cannot message the homeowners directly so I am not sure how you'd get the more specific information you would need in order to make decisions on how to park with trailers.

Parking will require a smaller that a 29’ trailer and 4wd, there is a optional parking lot in town right by the groomer barn where I left my van and trailer for 4 day’s with no problem. I rode a sled back to cabin. The other group dropped their trailer and brought their truck to cabin. There is only a small turnaround at the end of the street that would be extremely difficult with any trailer. I had to back out the whole street to the highway. Not recommended!!! Getting in the door with key pad can be trying, if any number lights up red just stop and pause start over! We didn’t ride through the yard down to the lake but there is a stump and septic stuff to be aware of. The place is giant a super nice and I will stay again. The trail crosses the street at the highway. You must eat at Blink Bonnie’s and the Wolf Pack.

Nice and clean, great place on Lake St Germain

We drove for 5 hours and were very tired. When we checked in around 5pm it was like a Shangrila ! All was clean and tidy and so beautiful and QUIET!
The boys (15 and 17) took a picnic with them on the first day in the canoe and were gone for about 2 hours!
We sat around the firepit in the evening doing S'mores. The only apparatus which did not work was the gas outdoor grill. We were able to light it but the heat didn't get high at all not enough to cook anything so we had to cook our steaks inside-which was fine!
All in all a truly beautiful experience and one we will cherish forever-we return to the UK on Sunday , that is the airlines are not all on strike, and we would come here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Stayed 5 nights with family and friends here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Overall loved the property. Some specific pros and cons below:
Pros:
- Beach access was good
- Clean spaces
- Ample parking
- Good for people with kids (pack and play, high chair)
- Big dining area
- Good for pets (we brought our dog and he was so happy)
- Nice fireplace and outdoor fire pit
- Nice beach amenities (paddle boat, life jackets, etc)
- Large beach area
- Beautiful view from cabin
- Laundry use
- Plenty of bathroom space / showers and no shortage of hot water
- Short distance from restaurants/ grocery/ shopping area
Cons:
- Small kitchen
- Keurig didn’t work but took up space
- Screen doors didn’t move well at all (this was majorly annoying)
- Sporty lake - if you don't have a boat/jet ski etc can be hard to enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding outside of the immediate beach area
- Mattresses uncomfortable, would suggest bringing own pillows as well
- No garbage disposal
- Larger vacuum on site would be appreciated for easier guest cleanup

We had a great time. The house was clean. It was well appointed for families. The lake was beautiful and it was a terrific location. Highly recommend this house!

Renting was very nice and easy to use. Area was nice, able to fish had a swing for kids, games and books. Nice large table to eat and tables outside. Kitchen counter space was small. Bathroom water smelt like sewage. Gas grill did not really work only one burner worked and very hard to grill.

Fantastic Winter Stay
We had a fantastic and cozy winter stay. House had nice kitchen amenities with all you can ask for and bathrooms and bedrooms were well cleaned and taken care of.

Relaxing Getaway
We enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained, clean and comfy. Tranquil setting, amazing view of the lake. Great location to other Northwoods towns, biking and hiking trails and good restaurants. Highly recommend!

PERFECT FAMILY VACATION HOME
Sandy Cove is aptly named as most of our time spent for the week we stayed was at the beach watching our grandchildren play in the water. The home is located in a quiet and extremely private bay on beautiful Big St. Germain. The home is spacious and updated with a yard for lawn games next to the firepit that we enjoyed every night. The large deck with views of the lake and plenty of room for outdoor dining and relaxing. The weather was perfect all week long so we really spent most of the time at the beach or on the water. We rented a pontoon boat from Paul's Rental All in St. Germain, which was so easy to do. We especially loved the large round table overlooking the water. We would highly recommend this home for a multiple family vacation!

Family summer vacation
Sandy Cove was perfect for our family of 12! Kitchen was very well stocked. The place was very clean and met all our expectations. Swimming was perfect for the younger grandchildren. Very convenient to any where in the St. Germain-Minocqua area. Loved the fact that we didn't have to go down or climb back up any stairs to the water. Would definitely recommend!

Family Time
Enjoyed the spacious home for 7 of us..and 2 dogs..being able to bring our dogs was nice. We rented paddle boards so accessible paddle boards would be an added plus for the price we paid. Also a later check out time would've allowed us to have another day to swim..

Lived up to high expectations
We had a wonderful long Easter weekend at this property. We were blessed with some great weather and had a flawless experience with the home. Very well appointed and supplied kitchen made cooking meals a breeze and in spite of some chilly evenings, the house was warm and comfortable throughout all three levels. TVs and WiFi easy to use when needing a break from the outdoors. We weren’t able to use the outdoor fire pit due to high fire danger but the fireplace worked great for some indoor smores. Lake was gorgeous and crystal clear. I’m sure the canoeing, swimming, and fishing would be excellent when the weather warms. Nice quiet road for walks and plenty of space for our small dog to stretch her legs. LOTS of wildlife to hear and see and pitch black skies for lots of great star viewing at night. Large upper level deck made for a great morning coffee and evening glass of wine spot. Communication from property owners was clear and zero problems experienced during trip. A very good value based on our experiences with other vacation rentals in northern Wisconsin.

Sandy Cove is Vacation Love!!
I absolutely loved everything about this house!! From the bottom floor to the top floor. The kitchen was really nice and where I spent alotta time cooking for my family. Everything you could need was there. They lacked in spices altho they had a few, the more used ones weren't there but not like we would use them since covid, we bought our own. The living area was nice and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous!! The deck was beautiful, unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there so we were unable to enjoy the outdoors. But we had a pleasant stress free and relaxing time!! Would most definitely rent this Lake house again. Made everyone of my friends want to know where this place was thanks to my snapchat pics!! Lol can't wait to book this place again!! Next time it would have to be in the summer months. The surrounding towns were nice also. We did lots of shopping!! Also have to check out Wolf Pack Cafe!! It was another highlight other then the lake house.

Snowmobile trip
Great property. Stayed to hit snowmobile trails, great location, right off trail system. Plenty of sleeping room and good amenities, place was clean. Was a bit cold due to very cold temps outside but fireplace came in handy. Would like to re-visit in summer. Lake access situation looks great! Did not need to contact property management.
