House looked liked it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Sheets on the bed were even dirty. Contract charges a cleaning deposit that you do NOT get back even though you have to clean the house before you can even start to enjoy your vacation. They also expect you to strip beds, take out trash and do laundry before you leave, which we did. House was so much cleaner when we left than when we arrived and than we are told our “cleaning deposit” is non refundable. Will not recommend this house or rent this place again.

First and foremost- the house itself is large and has plenty of space for multiple families (we had 3 households) to spread out. I don’t think I heard any of the kids say they were bored, not once. Two kitchens came in really handy. We used the downstairs mainly as a beverage area and did the majority of our cooking upstairs. Our favorite part was being able to literally walk out the back yard and go straight to the beach. Considering the house is next to public access, we didn’t have to even climb sand dunes to see the beautiful ocean. Highly recommend this property and would definitely enjoy again. I’d like to address just a couple things I have seen other reviews mention. The dirty windows- it’s a beach house, directly on the ocean and it’s WINDY plus misty. The windows out of the back of the house were indeed dirty and hard to see through like some others complained. However- it took us just a few minutes each day to wash them and hose them down. Wasn’t a issue in my opinion and most definitely didn’t take away from our experience! One more thing I would like to mention, and it’s not a complaint- just a suggestion. The cookware could use some updating as a lot of the pans were unusable due to Teflon peeling. All in all we made it work and VERY MUCH SO enjoyed Ocean Commotion. The property managers were responsive to any concerns we had. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was perfect for families with kids. They have a lot of entertaining activities for the kids around the house. Beautiful view especially from the upstairs balcony. Plenty of parking space. We would definitely recommend the house for your family vacation.

This house is one of the best beach houses I've ever stayed at. We had a large group of people and had an absolute blast. Everything was very clean and it had plenty of room for all 19 of us. The view from the back deck, especially in the morning, is breathtaking. You can't beat being able to walk out your backyard right into the beach. Plenty of bathrooms for a large group and it's nice that there's two kitchens as well! Great place to stay, I will be returning here for sure!

We are a family of 12 with kids under the age of 12. The house has many bedrooms, and with bunk beds in some rooms, we didn’t even use them all. The location is great being right on the beach next to a public access way, so there is easy passage through the dunes to the ocean. There are kitchens and large common areas on both floors. The lower area serves as an entertainment space with a large TV, pool table, arcade game, shuffleboard and raised card tables. Outside there is a reasonable size pool, hot tub, ping pong table and grill. The second-floor common room has a large TV and access to a large deck with great views of the beach and ocean. No one got bored. Despite the structural and location advantages of the house, it continues to have the problem with cleanliness that some of the earlier reviews indicate. When we moved in Saturday evening, we found that the kitchens were in bad shape. The refrigerators were dirty, and we spent considerable time cleaning one. The silverware in the drawers in both kitchens were their trays. We had to clean the Keurig machine. There was sand between the sheets in the Master Bedroom on the first floor. A couple of the air vents were black with dirt. The lock on one of the sliding doors to the pool area was broken. We e-mailed the property manager Sydney and she showed up herself the next morning and spent a couple of hours taking care of our complaints. Its clear that the house needs a major cleaning at the beginning of the season and a larger more efficient cleaning staff to make it presentable in the 5 hours between guests.

Amazing space for family fun in the evenings, big table for dinners, perfect access to the beach and could see the ocean from the yard - not closed in even by pool. Had lots of fun.

This is not a luxury beach home however it is a very family friendly home with a very nice swimming pool and many many games for the family to play. We had a great time and we would come back again.

House is large and well laid out. The deck offers a view of the ocean where we watched every sunrise and enjoyed the shade from every sunset. Having a kitchen both upstairs and down made it easy to provide for our small army of 17. Some of the areas look a little worn, but we had a blast!

Owners/Managers very responsive. The property offers something for all age groups.

Best location right on the beautiful beach with lots of outdoor seating. Pool, mini golf, sports balls, ping pong table outside. Inside arcade game, pool table, shuffleboard and board games. Everything possible for family meals including utensils, pots and pans. Our ages ranged from adults to older teens and children and everyone thought it was our best vacation rental ever !!

Great parts: Living areas are even bigger than the pics, had all the amenities that it says and that you could want; Pool table, hot tub, arcade, board games, ping pong table, big chess, shuffle board, WiFi, cable. All honestly as good as you could wish for in a rental. Downfalls were: dishwasher didn’t have water running to it in the upstairs and clearly before our arrival based on condition on the inside of it, toilet in the upstairs was leaking from first time we walked into the bathroom, and day we arrived we had to come through a back door that was able to be opened because the code on front door wasn’t programmed to what was told. Last thing; we used ice cubes from the tray in the basement freezer to only realize, after drinking from drinks with regular looking ice cubes from the tray, that the ice cubes had laundry detergent mixed with the ice which after realizing we obviously had to toss all of those drinks. The first time I’ve ever heard of this if it is a prank, but pretty stupid as we had multiple people with upset stomachs the next day. Thinking about that again it’s absolutely crazy that happened, who freezes laundry detergent in ice as a joke? Could have been very serious had someone not noticed the taste, now that I’m looking back on it. All issues communicated when noticed and responded to right away. Also standing shower stalls are very small. The code on the door was fixed soon as we messaged, the other items were not repaired while there. Issues have to have been apparent before our arrival, had they not been a problem this would be the perfect place as you’re literally on the ocean.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Ocean Commotion. The house was beautiful and luxurious with many thoughtful details that made our stay feel extra special. We had three separate families staying and there was plenty of room to spread out. Everyone enjoyed the games downstairs, and of course the breathtaking views. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful. We would recommend a stay here to anyone and would love to return in the future.

Home is well furnished and good seating areas for meals and games, etc. Took a while for the downstairs air condition to kick in. We were so excited to be right on the beach, but very disappointed with the view to the beach as the windows were dirty (filthy) and the view from the house to the beach was not appealing. I was told that it was fly season and frankly that was not acceptable. A thorough outside cleaning of the house is needed, as there were cob webs, sliding glass door tracks and window seals piled with files. The cleaning fee should ensure cleaning is done to remove flies between guests. The outside shower also needs a thorough cleaning; we were unable to use. A good power washing of the house to get rid of all the dead flies on the windows, ceils and sliding glass door tracks is needed. It was disgusting to go out of the patio doors and have to climb over filthy window tracks each and every time we went outside. There is a cloudy film on the windows, just dirty. Both the pool and the hot tub had a dirty ring around the edge, even after the pool was cleaned. The pool/hot tub cleaners had to be asked to clean the pool a second time and still there was sand left in the pool and the hot tub. We scheduled a photographer for group photos and was disappointed when 3 days prior to us leaving, furniture was removed from the front of the house where photos had been planned without asking us. This could be a great property with better attention, care and concentration on improving the outside areas, cleaning the windows, outside shower stall, maintenance of the pool and hot tub to start.

Fabulous place for multigenerational family.

The property offered our family everything we were looking for in a beach vacation. The house is very well equipped and has a wonderful gaming area utilized by all family members throughout our stay. However, if you are looking for a pristine palace, this is not the place for you. It is a lived-in beach house rented to multiple families throughout the year, so the pictures make it look much newer than it is. On the other hand, if you are looking for a great home to make lasting beach memories with your family, like surfing or watching the dolphins, pelicans, or crabs scurry in and out of their holes in the sand, this is the place for you! We thoroughly enjoyed the area's peacefulness, and we are already planning another trip for next year.

Loved Sandbridge and ocean front location. Disappointed in some aspects of the home. Unlike what pics describe, master ocean front bedrooms are small with tiny bathrooms. Bunk rooms were very hot and had no ceiling fans. Common areas were great, decks/pool and view of ocean were great. Ice-maker was broken. Owner was great in communicating and attempted to fix. Also had few roof leaks during storm.

Ocean Commotion has a great location. There are lots of activities at the house that were great for our teens and young adults.
