the hotel was old castle that was cool .and the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean 👌 and the room size was very good 👍

The location is great. This is almost the only thing which is good about the hotel
Breakfast is like in a 3 star hotel, the staff at breakfast is not happy to welcome guests in the morning. we have waited for more than 30 minutes for a coffee. There is also a bad smell in the rooms.. Overall, furniture is too old and needs to be renovated. very poor ratio price-quality. we paid 1 850 euros for 3 nights

We booked the restaurant for 9 people on the 5th October and the Dukes Menu and wines were delicious, the service was very good and staff attentive. The hotel itself was excellent and we have no complaints about it.
On the strength of the above we booked the restaurant again for the following evening this time for 6 people but it was far from good. The menu was a la carte but was only different from the Dukes Menu by adding two options to each course, which was disappointing. The first course arrived quite quickly but we waited and waited for a long time to get our main courses. One bottle of wine was not drinkable as it contained so much dregs. We were not even offered deserts. The evening was a great disappointment. On checking out we paid all outstanding amounts but an hour later I received a phone call advising that there was an outstanding amount of £2,000+ and could they have authority to take it. This was not given because it was not owing. Even though no authority was given the amount was taken from my credit card. It took a return visit to the hotel producing all our receipts for them to agree that they had made a MISTAKE!!
The amount was credited without even an apology merely stating the matter had been sorted. This is unforgiveable and really soured our break in Bruges.

Die Lage ist fantastisch, mitten im alten Zentrum von Brügge, trotzdem ruhig und mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Hotel ist wunderschön, der gepflegte Garten traumhaft und die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Extrabreite, sehr bequeme Betten!
Wellness und Fitness sollten in dieser Preisklasse enthalten sein, waren aber sehr klein und mussten extra gezahlt werden.
Wir hatten mit Babybett gebucht und bezahlt, mussten jedoch 2x Bescheid sagen, um es gestellt zu bekommen.

Breakfast a bit limited as was dinner. Boiled eggs were rather wet! Asked for one to be done hard boiled - came back runnier than the ones you can get yourself at the buffet.

My family and I stayed in the family suite.
The suite was very clean and modern. The bedrooms were very spacious.
The hotel itself is beautiful and in an excellent location. Despite being close to everything, it's peaceful and quiet.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The little extras such as mini welcome gifts was an excellent touch.
I would definitely stay here again.

Twin beds when we had asked for a double bed
Air conditioning not working in room. ( attempts made to repair it were unsuccessful during our stay) Heater was provided and on check out a complementary taxi was offered to the train station which was a nice unprompted gesture.
Could hear guests through interconnecting door to adjacent room.

The hotel is a grand in design and function, the service from all staff was exceptional, the proximity to the towns main attractions is 10/10. Returning home after a day in Bruges, you turn the corner and there stands the magnificent property, i cannot recommend highly enough.
There was nothing about the property that i did not like.

The hotel is outstanding in terms of location, amenities and service! The breakfast was beyond expectation. The staff was efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

EVERYTHING! Location, exterior, interior. Service is impeccable. The facilities are exceptional. I particularly love the lounge areas and the beautiful garden. We have travelled extensively all over the world and the breakfast here is as good as any we’ve experienced. The rooms are tasteful and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are lovely. This is as good as hotels get!

Tv is achterhaald. Voor dergelijke prijs mag heden ten dage wel iets beters voorzien zijn.
Ik nam voorafgaand telefonisch contact met het hotel. Ik had iets meer vriendelijkheid en beleefdheid verwacht van de persoon aan de andere lijn. Receptie was afgemeten beleefd, niet echt vriendelijk. Dat ietje meer , wat je in dergelijk hotel mag verwachten, was er niet.
Restaurant was prijs/kwaliteit gewoon goed.
