House was perfect for two families with the master bedrooms on the main floor and kids rooms upstairs, worked perfect for two families with 5 kids combined

We stayed with our two grown children and one of our parents. Cozy house with an open floor plan. Easy access to everything. Very nice and would stay there again!

This was our first trip to OIB for my husbands 30th birthday with our boys & some friends and we all absolutely loved it! The house is just as it shows in the pictures and the owner is super nice & responds quick! We will definitely be back very soon!

We absolutely love our family times at Ocean Isle! This rental was perfect for a great holiday, the owners were more than accommodating and we all had a grand time. Great layout inside and out for loads of fun. Hoping to return again soon!

The home was very accommodating for our 10 member family Thanksgiving vacation. It was clean and has great beach access. Grocery stores and other shopping was convenient. Chris was always prompt in responding to our questions. The only complaint I have is--- during the reservation process, I selected the Total Price option. I was given a price. I came out of the listing for the rental to let other family members know I found a rental. I gave the family members all the details---including the price. We agreed on the rental. Within a few minutes, I went back into the app to reserve the home, and the price had increased significantly. Since I had already provided my family with the price, I had to pay the additional approximately $300. In the future, I will not rent a place if this happens. Overall, beautiful home and great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! The location was perfect, the inside is beautifully decorated, and Chris was very easy to work with. It’s everything you want in a beach house! Highly recommend.

My family, my sister's family, and my parents stayed here for an extended Labor Day weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. The owners were very communicative and the house was as exactly as listed. The front porch was our favorite spot as we really enjoyed sitting out there each morning and evening. Beach access is right across the street and your feet can literally be in the sand within a minute or two of leaving the front door. The community pool is super convenient as well and was very clean and inviting. We all had such a great time and would definitely stay here again in the future.

This last week was my fifth summer at OIB and each time I've stayed in a different beach house. The house provided everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation and I would stay here again, which about the best praise you can get.

Easy and prompt communication with the property owner. Loved the location & layout of the house. Downstairs outdoor lounge area is nice and cozy, however… didn’t have the tv as advertised in the pictures. Cleanliness wasn’t quite satisfactory for our liking. Water pressure could’ve been better especially while multiple bathrooms are in use. We would definitely rent again, as we easily worked around our minor complaint, everyone had different expectations.

Property is located with 75 feet of the access to the beach. House is comfortable and set up nicely. Would stay again

Home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Location to beach access was great-not much farther than being beach front! Loved the front porch and all the seating. I would definitely recommend.

The house is exactly as described... great new kitchen, perfect location and size! Loved the front porch! Chris was very accessible via email or cell and provided info quickly. Definitely recommend to others and hope to return!

We loved everything about this property, the location was great. It was easy to get to the beach. Our group consisted of a couple of 70 year olds, two 50ish folks, two twenty somethings, and a four year old. Everyone is ready to go back to this house. We had plenty of room, great outdoor space. After a day of fun at the beach we could come in and relax, have dinner there or go to a nearby restaurant. Crabby Oddwaters shrimp and crab balls-excellent! Captain Nance's blackened snapper and crab cakes were also delicious. The pool area was great for meeting new friends. Responsiveness of the owners was top notch, couldn't be any better. Beautifully decorated and very clean A great place, ya better book it now!

The house was as expected, clean, organized and well equipped. The accessibility to the beach and pool were great. Having great weather made the stay ideal. there was something for everyone, from age 3 to 70. We dined in most nights, but on the couple that we went out, it was hard to choose. Having a list of favorites from owners and other renters may have helped. Neither that we tried left an impression. Overall we had a great vacation and would book and recommend to others.

Lovely second row cottage, with updated kitchen, very clean and neat. We cooked most nights and found everything we needed in the cabinets. We enjoyed the shaded front deck, fenced in backyard and appreciated the use of the provided beach chairs at the property. Easy walk to the beach as the public access is almost directly across the street. Nice stretch of beach - even at high tide there was a generous amount of beach. The house was a perfect size for our family of 4 adults and 2 children.

This property was perfect. I have been coming to OIB for over 20 years and this place was my favorite. It was very clean, nicely decorated, close to a beach access and very easy to communicate with the owners.

A fantastic house just across the street from public beach access. Well-appointed and clean, this house was a delight. The owners were quick to respond to our needs. Outstanding communication and responsiveness. We plan on staying here again!

I cannot say enough about this property and the communication with Chris. We recently sold the property we owned for 16 years on OIB (insert tear). Needless to say we miss it already and needed a place to stay for the weekend with friends. I feel like we lucked out finding Chris’s place. PERFECT location, right by the public beach access, walking distance to coffee, pier, restaurants. VIEW, you can see the ocean from the front porch. Although it’s not a huge view of the ocean, it’s still a view and it was beautiful. And the porch has plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy. HOUSE, decorated beautifully KITCHEN, had everything we needed to cook breakfast and enjoy coffee. Fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. The size of the home was perfect for the 4 adult couples (no children) that went. I would highly recommend and we definitely will be renting again. I will say I missed where it stated linens not included but Chris was right on it, sent me the link to rent sheets and towels, which worked out great. The company had terrific customer service and delivered what we needed within an hour!

We loved our stay over New Years! This was a perfect house for our two families. The house immediately felt like home. The renovations were beautiful and it was the perfect beach house! It's one of my favorite rentals ever! So close to the beach with easy beach access. House was very clean and looks even better in person! We would stay here time and time again!

A great fit for 4 couples. A close walk to the beach and community pool. The furnishings were nice and adequate for our needs. A nice porch with sufficient outdoor furniture for us all. The kitchen was well-stocked with cutlery, cookware, silverware, and dishes. Very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay!
