Sitting on the balcony with coffee or cocktails and the beautiful view of Carlsmith Beach Park and ocean was so pleasant. Loved having an elevator for all our luggage. Beds were comfortable and all was clean. The floor was very slippery as we entered the front door and stove top is confusing on how to operate. Overall we enjoyed having this condo as a place to come back to at the end of our adventurous days.

disappointed that check out was so early. i also thought that the fact that the shower was in the tub that there should have been bars to hold on to as you got in and out and maybe one on the wall so you could steady yourself while showering. i did find a stool to use to help get into bed since they were so high. i also would have liked an extra set of sheets so that i could spend some nights sleeping on the futon

Loved being able to snorkel right in front of the unit. Enjoyed the restaurants and sightseeing recommendations. Easy communication with host.

Nice older condo kept in good shape next to a very popular park on the water. Very easy to go next door for a swim and snorkel. Can be noisy at times with road noise and loud music at the park.

The location and view were great, right next to the beach! It was super clean with pretty much all the appliances you would need or want were there. I did find a piece of garbage under my bed (food wrapper) but that was quite literally the only problem. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone on a two-person trip!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Unit was spacious and well appointed. The building has a good sized pool and is right next to an amazing beach park which had surprisingly good snorkeling. The location just outside Hilo was perfect for exploring around the region including Volcanoes NP and we found great food in Hilo. Communication with the host was easy and they provided lots of excellent recommendations for activities and eateries. Only downside is no AC, so you have to sleep with windows open. The beach park and road outside were noisy a couple nights, so not good for light sleepers. There were a couple minor maintenance issues as well. Overall, we loved our stay and would re-book if visiting the big island in a heartbeat.

Great location, super close to downtown Hilo, food, snorkeling, swimming etc! Our condo was clean and we felt very safe. Staff was super friendly, parking was easy. You won’t be disappointed.

This condo is lovely and surrounded by tropical beauty. Its location above a city park is both entertaining and noisy. It is not a location for folks wanting a tranquil vacation because of its abundance of motorcycle traffic and active park. Aside from that we thoroughly enjoyed daily ocean swims outback and friendly faces.

This property is located at the best snorkeling spot in the area. Great restaurants and other attractions are nearby. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We had a great stay!

Location is exceptional with great opportunity for water activities in lovely surroundings.

We saw turtles everyday here and enjoyed the easy access to the beach park and pool. There are Ubers available if car rentals are too $. It was still valuable for us to have a car a few days to see other parts of the island and get to local eateries and farmers market more efficiently. Room were comfortable but too warm to hang out there during the day without central AC The fans were needed and we were comfortable at night. Terry is available and responsive if there are any issues. It was a pleasant stay for us, cute condo, exactly as advertised.

The property was very clean. Plenty of space, two bedrooms, nice balcony overlooking a beautiful park. Close to downtown Hilo, airport, restaurants, and ocean. Property was quiet. I didn’t use the pool. Plenty of ceiling fans and free-standing fans in each room.

Location can’t be beat for this property located right behind Carlsmith Beach Park and walkable to others. Has pool too for a quick apres dinner swim.
