The cottage was super clean and stocked with every amenity and extra you could think of. Absolutely gorgeous spot on the lake and extremely cozy and updated. Close to beautiful Emerson Park and Auburn. The property manager checked in to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. We. OU isn’t have asked for a better Finger Lakes experience!

We visited with a group of 7 and this property was more than enough for all of us to enjoy! The owner's were quick with responses and we're lenient enough to let us check-in early because there were no prior renters. The property was really clean and the views were really nice. The dock going into the lake was a great addition and it allowed us to rent a boat and pull it straight up to the house. The shore around the dock is quite sea-weedy, but if you're not afraid of a little soft sand and the seaweed, the water is pretty warm because it's shallow. You can also go deeper into the lake if you rent a boat and swim there! Definitely recommend this property, and thank you to the owners for a great stay!

Our stay was fantastic. This house was once owned by my grandfather and we were able to revisit our childhood and all the wonderful memories. What a great experience.!!

Yearly fishing trip. House was everything and more. The house was very well stocked and clean. Only down side, the fish weren’t biting. Maybe next time! Great place to stay, everything is close by. Great time!

This house was a good accommodation for us as our crew was in the area for work.

You can tell a great deal about people and businesses by how they handle glitches. We experienced a minor glitch with check in for this property and it was handled immediately, effectively, and above and beyond expectations. The property is wonderfully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The setting is gorgeous. It is close to everything but far enough away to have the genuine lake house vibe. The only caution is for people with young children or seniors; the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and getting larger bags up can be a challenge and a gate for the kiddos is a must. The firepit was great, at night, and coffee on the porch, at sunrise, was breath taking. I wouldn't hesitate to book this home again.

Property manager was responsive and helpful. House was extremely well-stocked and maintained and very accurately represented in photos and description. Central air, updated electrical, quality linens and new windows show that its owner invested time and funds. Convenient to groceries, gas, etc. and Emerson Park, which is a nice place to run or picnic with kids. Lake is lovely, clear, comfortable temp, and pretty quiet. Water off the dock is shallow and weedy, but the dock is nice and it's a great safe place for beginner kayakers and paddleboarders. Outdoors is in excellent shape. House was small and decor dated, but very clean with all amenities.

This was our first year up to the Finger Lakes for family vacation, and we really enjoyed this home! There were 7 of us which comfortably fit and enough space for everyone. The location was perfect. Close to the Speedway to pick up little things, and the downtown of Auburn was only about 15 mins away. We were able to fish, kayak and swim right off the dock. Backyard was great with a firepit and plenty of space to eat and hang outdoors. There was enough parking for a few cars which was great. Overall we felt the house had everything we needed, and we are looking forward to returning!

Nice summer lake house. House was well appointed with everything one needs for vacation. The house is older but is nice and clean. Good life jackets. Nice canoe and kayaks. Beautiful fire pit a nice view. The flagpole is in a weird spot as it obstructs the amazing view of the lake. It would have been great to have an umbrella for shade at the picnic table. Unfortunately in the bay there seemed to be some sort of weed bloom and was really a bit unclean to swim. Once away from the dock the lake is crystal clear. Houses are super close together but with next door empty we didn’t feel exposed. Neighbours in area are super nice and helpful. The property manger was very responsive to our questions and provided us with lots of ideas to do nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

This house was exactly what we were looking for and exactly as advertised. The lakefront location and dock space were perfect. The house was small but very well equipped. Also, house was clean and included bed linens and towels. It was nice to arrive to a home with made beds. Neighborhood was great and the neighbors were helpful. Would highly recommend. This was a beautiful home perfect for our annual family vacation with tons of extras and great amenities. Lots of fun stuff to do nearby and a dock for our jetskies!

Second time we stayed here this year! Perfect house, beautiful location and close to Auburn. So many great memories, with more to come, we have already booked again for next year! If you love the lake life this location is for you!

To summarize quickly this place is great. Beyond clean, stocked with everything you may need and plenty of room. Hosts were more than accommodating and Michele following up to make sure everything was ok. Close to town so it was very convenient if anything was needed. Couldn't have been happier. Great place on the water with a dock if you want to bring a boat. Two kayaks and a canoe are provided on the property. Very nice fire pit in the back. Place was stocked with all amenities you could ask for. Michele was very responsive with any questions and incredibly helpful when needed I would definitely stay here again.

The Lake House was an absolute delight to stay in! Located on a small street off the "main drag", it was totally private, even though there were houses on either side. The lakeside view was magnificent, and the firepit was a main attraction. The house itself was sparkling clean, and had everything you could possibly need, from basic supplies (condiments, matches, paper towels, bug spray, citronella candles, etc., etc.) to games, books, movies, and more (that kept us entertained on the one rainy afternoon). Plenty to keep everyone busy and happy! Lots of nearby attractions: Seneca Falls, Cornell Botanical Gardens, Watkins Glenn State Park, Corning Glass Museum, and much more. We were there for a family reunion of sisters (from OH, VT, downstate, and LI), and one sister who went to SUNY Binghamton is thinking of using this spot for a future college reunion. Would highly recommend!

The cottage is on a quiet dead end drive with little to no traffic which was exactly what we wanted; especially with two young children who like to zip around on their push scooters. The view is amazing, (you couldn’t get closer to the water), and the cottage is well appointed with a stocked kitchen. Good central air which was extremely important during this hot summer. The bedrooms are small but cute. The living room was very comfortable and homey. I believe the listing said there were two bathrooms, but there is only 1 full bath and a half bath, which was fine for us. Overall, this cottage delivered exactly what we needed: a quiet waterfront last minute getaway for our family.

Perfect lake house, steps from the water yet minutes from the wineries and breweries. Everything you need is thought of. Very helpful hosts. Activities galore for all ages. Ended our trip with a double rainbow!!

Clean lake house with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The little ones loved the ducks. The kayaks were used daily. Picturesque setting and beautiful sunrise.

My children are still talking about our stay here, and ask almost every day when we can go back to the lake house, lol. We absolutely loved our quiet, peaceful stay here - loved sleeping overlooking the lake, waking up to the sunset over the water, sitting on the dock with our morning coffee, kayaking, and being close enough to town to run to wegmans for essentials. The house was amazingly well appointed with everything we needed. We'll definitely be back :)

Our place on the lake was very nice! Very clean with all the amenities you could want. We had fun relaxing, using the kayaks and canoe. Enjoyed the fire pit every night. Place was very roomy and close to all the conveniences you could want, yet the lake house was in a nice secluded area. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to going there again.

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. Beautiful view of the lake, convenient to shopping and points of interest. The house is a nice mix of original and updated elements. The kitchen and full bath are wonderful, and we appreciated the central air as it was unseasonably warm during our stay. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. We would definitely rent this house again.

This is a very lovely home. We enjoyed the Lake and Canoe, fire pit and overall stay here. It was perfect for us and we didn't want to leave on Sunday. The house was clean and beds so comfortable, kitchen fully stocked. I would recommend this home for sure.

House was clean and everything we expected. The neighbors are great . They even went out of the way to make our vacation that much better. Everyone in the town of Auburn were extremely friendly. I'd stay there again.

The house was beautiful, very clean and had all of the basic necessities. The only reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 was due to the overgrowth of weeds/lily pads in the water right in front of the house/around the dock; because of that the kids (ages 10 - 12) were not able to swim, which was one of the reasons we chose a 'lake house'… that's not really the fault of the owners though, as that was prevalent throughout that area of the lake… Our kids were still able to fish off of the dock and feed the local ducks, also we brought our own boat so were able to travel to different parts of the lake to swim... We got up every morning and drank coffee outside to take in the gorgeous sunrises, that alone made the trip worthwhile. We would definitely choose to rent this property again :)

Our family enjoyed visiting and hosting a Thanksgiving holiday in this cozy home on Owasco Lake. Although there was two feet of snow on the ground and we could not enjoy the firepit, we gathered in the living room and stayed warm watching the flames from the gas fireplace/stove. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy each other's company and everything you needed was provided in the kitchen. Felt right at home within minutes of our arrival. Cute and cozy!
