This is the 2nd year my family has stayed, but my sister’s 3rd year. Three families with 6 kids total stay extremely comfortably. Owners are super nice and friendly. We look forward to our upcoming 4th year next summer.

What a great home, host and location! Todd was so easy to work with and so helpful for the few little things we needed/had questions about during our stay. We spent the Fourth of July here with family with a toddler and younger child. The beach in front really sets this home apart. We didn’t have to worry about little kids jumping into the water or falling off a deck. And it gave us an easy place to play. The house is upscale but still comfortable so we could relax without feeling like we were in a museum. Their welcome binder was informative and check in/out directions very clear. We can’t wait to return!

My family, 7 adults & 7 children ages 8 and under had a wonderful time at this awesome property. The home was spotless and had everything you could want or need. The kids & adults loved the beach area and kayaking as well as just hanging outside and enjoying the lovely view. The river is not crowded with boats and the kids did a lot of tubing right in front of the house. This is our 5th trip to Lake LBJ and we always rent a boat from Splash Rentals who I highly recommend. Todd, the owner is great. We texted him many times prior to our trip and after and he always responded promptly. I highly recommend this property and we hope to go back next year!

The Butterfly House is fabulous! The beach area was so fun. And the owner was very responsive to a message we sent regarding an issue at the house and resolved it immediately. Great get away weekend and would absolutely stay again!

We family had such a great time. This was our second time going and It did not disappoint. All the new upgrades were beautiful and so well thought out. My parents loved being able to retreat to their own spot away from the loud chaos of kids but still be close enough to enjoy. We rented jet skis and a boat and had a blast! Todd was very easy to work with, immediate responses and very polite. We’ll be back again! I almost hate leaving a good review because I don’t want this place to be gone next year :)

Our family does a 4 generation lake trip to this area every summer. Finding just the right place to accommodate young and old with enough space to not be on top of each other is key….this is the best house for that on the beachy Llano River arm! Plenty of room, comfy beds, we cooked all our meals in the kitchen and didn’t need anything! Games, toys, crib and high chair for the littles were put to great use. Evenings around the fire pit and morning coffee on the porch we’re so special! We will be back to the Butterfly House!!

We stayed three nights with family of all ages and really enjoyed the property. Everything was clean and well kept. Will definitely rent again. Thank you

Very nice property & great location. Constant level lake and sandy water access are amazing. Absolutely only complaint was extremely entitled neighbor who took it upon herself to walk around property, use trash cans, and complain about me using property dock lights at night for fishing.

We spent most of the day hanging out on our own personal beach playing in the sand and water. The kitchen and living area were super spacious and the kids enjoyed the ping pong table and kayaks. We especially liked the location because we were able to have a rental boat delivered directly to our dock for the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Great house and perfect location! House was very clean, comfortable and perfect for young kids! We will definitely be booking again. Only suggestion would be fewer visits from the neighbor next door. She was always polite, but there almost daily either picking something up or adjusting lights on the walkway or dock roof.

House and Love Shack are both super cute!

The house was very clean and maintained really well. The kids had a great time on the private beach and loved using the kayaks in the clear water. Location was also good for fishing on the opposite bank, hiking at Inks Lake State Park and a short drive to the Llano Slab. We will definitely be looking to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Butterfly house and wish we could've stayed longer. The location is perfect with beautiful views. The beach was a lot of fun for everyone and we enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the river. The area was really quiet (with the exception of the crew building a dock at the neighboring house). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more and we appreciated that there were plenty of dishtowels, trash bags, paper towels, etc. Overall, it was a great stay and we would love to stay there again!

The Butterfly House was great for 4 families with small children. The beach on the lake was perfect!

We rented this for a family get together of 3 sisters and our families. It worked out really well. There were 11 of us, including an infant. The 5 older kids enjoyed the bunk room, and I appreciated the crib in our room. I loved the open floor plan, and the view of the beach, lake and green space on the other shore was breathtaking. The retractable awning over the deck was also a nice feature, and we were able to enjoy breakfasts outside even with the August heat. The lawn between the deck and beach was also nice and green, with lots of lawn chairs available for relaxing. I was impressed with how many lake floats and toys there were, in addition to the kayaks, for everyone to play with. And the outdoor shower was a really great feature! And of course, the beach and beach entrance to the lake is a fantastic part of this rental. We hope to come back soon!

This was an amazing house for our family. Very clean and beautiful with plenty of room for our family. Our grand babies were with us and this house was very kid friendly and all had a wonderful time. The beach access was a super bonus too!

Great location for the family. The house had many nice touches for families with small children (cribs, toys, plastic cups and dishes). The gentle slope of the beach allowed even the smallest kids to enjoy the water.

It was by far the best lakefront home we have stayed at. The beachfront was all sand and the gradual walk into the lake was exactly what we were looking for. Even at the end of the dock it was about 8 feet deep. The porch was huge and had a retractable awning for the afternoon sun. After enjoying the day at the beach/lake, just walk up to the lower deck and rinse off with the outdoor shower. They have 2 kayaks which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house itself has been remodeled and high end. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook for a large group. We used the outside grill every night as well. The ping pong table inside the family room was a huge hit! We had a group of 12 and everyone had a bed. There is even a crib in one of the bedrooms. The HEB is 5 minutes away, another plus. If I could suggest 1 thing it would be new cookie sheets-yes I’m OCD. Lol We will definitely be back!! Thank you very much

This was the perfect spot for our grandkids, ages 2-6. We had 5 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit is perfect for s'mores and the beach entry could not have been better. The Butterfly House is on the quiet part of the river so there wasn't a lot of waves from boats passing. We will keep this on our short list for our return to the Lake LBJ area.

We had the best long weekend at the Butterfly house! When we walked in the door, the view from all the rooms was incredible. You could tell the house has been very well kept and recently redone - like new condition! Our kids loved playing outside in the sand and swimming in the lake. It was warm and shallow for them. We rented a boat for the weekend, and it was so nice to have the boat dock right there for it. The grill was in excellent condition and we enjoyed gathering around the fire pit in the evenings to roast marshmallows and hang out. The awning was really nice in the afternoons to provide some shade while sitting on the deck. The owners were very responsive and quick to answer questions we had. The Love Shack was a little older and not quite as nice, but nice to have for guests. We would definitely recommend this home and really enjoyed our stay!

We had a beautiful weekend together at the Butterfly house property. The kitchen was fully equipped as were the bedrooms. The awning is such a nice touch for coziness and shade. The beach and kayaks were so fun for all. Many s'mores were consumed by the pit!
