Weekend racing trio to Cumerland Dragway. House was easy to access. Very clean, comfy beds. Host was very communicative. There was olenty of room for our gtouo to sit around and smdiuscuss the evenings events. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans, dishes and utensils. The only downside was the parking. We had 2 trucks with trailers we could not bring to the house but other than that I would recommend and will stay again for the next race if its available.

My family of 12 stayed for a long weekend, and absolutely enjoyed this property. Suzanne was an excellent host, and the property was clean and enjoyable. We spent a lot of time soaking up rays and enjoying the view of the river. We had coffee, homemade baked goods and lunch from Reel Java in town. This is a must stop just a few minutes away! Also about 1.5 hours from the house, we checked out Mammoth Caves, the Corvette Museum, and Makers Mark Distillery. Thank you for an excellent stay!!

Very clean rooms are great size. House has great updates. Felt like being right at home.

Wonderful stay

We loved our time here. In past years we stayed at another cabin but it was unavailable this year. We index up staying here instead and it was so much better! There was 15 of us and plenty of room. The views were amazing; we weee able to do a great photo shoot of our girls with photographer. We all had plenty of space to split into groups and do training.

Sunset Ridge was an absolutely perfect location for our family gathering. There were 5 kids (ages 12, 11, 9, 8, and 6) and the bunkroom in the basement with the seating area, large TV and big speaker was fabulous for them. We also had 7 adults and the layout and combination of bedrooms worked well. The kitchen had all of the dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans and everything else we needed - we prepared every meal at the house - each family prepared a meal which was fun and offered a great diversity in offerings. The table is large with plenty of room for family games and dining. There are great instructions for just about everything prominently posted and having the information clearly conveyed and readily available was very helpful. Suzanne was great to communicate with and always responded promptly. We were at the house in the winter so no lake activities, but we had a lovely hike at Lake Cumberland State Park and enjoyed coffee and treats from Reel Java and Creamery following our hike. We saw a bald eagle from the deck soaring over the lake the morning we left! We also loved the beautiful Christmas tree next to the fireplace - it provided a perfect setting for our family gift exchange. In short, it was perfect!

After a hard year, we decided to shake things up a little & go somewhere as a family for the holiday. We had a great time. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. And the views were more than we could have hoped for. I would absolutely recommend this property and would happily go back for a return visit. P.S. It was spacious and large enough that we didn’t feel cramped and the large amount of beds is very accommodating and comfortable for a large group of people. The house was very clean and stocked, and had everything we needed. The location and view from the balconies are so gorgeous and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and everyone in our group had nothing but great things to say about this property. Suzanne was also very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Stay was great, and owner was very responsive/communicative.

Just what we needed. Secluded. Just us. Quiet and relaxing. We only had 3 of us there but could have had 10 and still had room and still have had a wonderful time. We are considering doing it again with a larger group of the family.

The property is beautiful. We watched the water move during the day as we cooked. The house was clean and had a welcome feel to it. Suzanne is nice and easy to work with. Some of the girls I traveled with would go back to this location and house.

The property was one of the best vacation stays i have had. Suzanne was communicative and easy to reach throughout the booking process and for the duratuon of our stay. Overall i have nothing but superlatives about this great property and gracious host.

This property is great place for large group. Throughout our 3 days stay we had 10 people there. Everyone had a bed that they could sleep in. Instead of an air mattress. All the beds were very comfortable. The house is very open with a large dining table for gathering. The downstair area was a great area to watch the football game. The views from the decks are amazing. Parking was enough for 6 large vehicles. The host was great to work with. She answered all my questions quickly prior to the trip. She also checked in on us to make sure things were going well and to see if we needed anything. Which means to me that she cares about her guest. I would recommend this property for large and small groups. You won't be disappointed.

Did a long weekend with friends. Very nice property with good spaces to play board games, hang out on the decks, enjoy the fire pit. Couldn't ask for better.

Our first time visiting the Lake Cumberland area. Didn't want to stay on a boat for a week as we like to explore the area. You cannot beat the million-dollar view from the deck of this house. Everyone in our group commented about how great the view was while sitting on the deck enjoying a cocktail and visiting. The home is very clean, comfortable and well appointed with all necessary items found during our stay. You can't beat the location of this home. Numerous activies can be found within a 30 to 45 minute drive. We visited numerous waterfalls, hiking trails and sites. If you want to see Lake Cumberland we found renting a pontoon boat for the day was the way to go. Grocery shopping (Kroger) was less than 8 miles away. Numerous restaurants can also be found nearby. Don't miss visiting the Creelsboro County Store for lunch. Very limited hours but their food is well worth the visit. I would also recommend visitng the Mill Springs Battlefield Visitor Center & Museum in nearby Nancy if you are a history buff. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area in the future. Great communication with the owner. I highly recommend.

the property was perfect for our group, not spotless upon arrival but very nice. it was a beautiful spot nestled in the hills above Greasy Creek - Lake Cumberland.

Check in was easy do to great communications with the owner. House was super clean and ready for us upon arrival. Good instructions at the house. Plenty of beds for our party of 14. Enjoyed view of the lake and fire in fire pit. Kitchen was fully equipped.

The property was exactly as the online listing - clean space, lots of rooms, beautiful view! Perfect for a girls trip, easy to access the marina for a day out on the boat and then come home to a clean a comfortable house!

This is our second year to stay at Suzanne's beautiful lake house on Lake Cumberland. We have stayed at other homes and this is by far our favorite. The house is clean and welcoming and we always feel like we have plenty of room to spread out. She added more seating on the second level deck and also shade curtains for later in the day when it starts to heat up. We always bring food for our 3 day stay and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that has a wonderful view of the lake. All appliances are in great shape and very clean. Lots of plates, coffee cups and glasses so no need to bring anything. Also a nice washer and dryer downstairs which is great for drying the towels we used while out on the lake. The house is close to the Jamestown Marina and even though we rented our pontoon boats at the State Dock we were easily able to take a water taxi over. Suzanne is always available and easy to communicate with. We had a fabulous time and plan to return next year.

The place was immaculate when we arrived. Suzanne was an amazing host. We stayed on our wedding weekend with blended family. Had a fabulous time, even with a thunderstorm on the water. Still laughed and smiled all weekend. Her communication was timely and she took care of all needs. Will definately return.

We rented this house for our yearly family vacation--Nana-Pop Camp. The home was everything as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked for those that like to cook. The home was clean and very well maintained. The views from the 3 decks can't be beat. It included not only a stellar view of the lake, but a huge Mimosa tree complete with beautiful butterflies and dozens of hummingbirds to watch and be amazed by. It included a lovely fire pit and enough grassy space for our 6 grandchildren to play. The host was immensely helpful and inquired to our needs. We will definitely recommend this house to any future guests.

We came with our kids, spouses and grandkids - 16 total aging in range from 2 - 66 and it was PERFECT for us! The lower level was great for the kids. We loved the large dining table for eating and games. The balcony views were simply amazing. We also enjoyed the fire-ring area. This home was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. The short drive to State Dock was perfect for us to get on our pontoon boat rentals. Lots of things to see and do in the area. Overall it was a fabulous week with family in a wonderful place!

My family and I give Suzanne and her team 5+ stars. The house is beautiful and very clean with a great location/views. We were beyond thankful for the ease of check in and responsiveness from Suzanne with any questions we had preparing for the trip. She helped make our stay a memorable one that my family and I will never forget. We will be back!

We had a great time. It was plenty spacious for four separate families with a total of 12. The parking was tricky. We had four vehicles and three were trucks. The trucks had to be parked at angles because the drive sits so close to the road. We also had a boat which fit with one truck in front of the house. We made it work without being on the lawn but it was like a game of Tetris each time we returned. It wasn’t anything we couldn’t figure out but there isn’t a picture of the parking online and anyone with trucks may want to take that in to account. The view is beautiful and the house was fully stocked. We loved our time together and appreciate the hospitality.

The home was nice overall, but it's probably time for some deep cleaning and painting in parts of it. The kitchen could also use better organization, as it likely contained all you would need for cooking, but everything was kind of tossed in cabinets haphazardly. We had 6 children with us and they did enjoy having the basement area to themselves, although they were disappointed to find that the arcade game was 1-player only, as the 2-player feature was broken. Not sure what happened to the TV remote in basement, but it was lost so we had to take turns using it on the TV upstairs and in the basement. Not a huge deal, but rather an inconvenience. We did experience a plumbing issue in the master bath early on, and Suzanne was wonderful in getting a plumber out to us ASAP, and he fixed the issue. Suzanne was great to work with, and had excellent response times. As far as the lake, it was lovely as always, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for the duration of our stay :( Due to the weather, we pretty much ate in every night - so the grill was much appreciated. The 2 large, well-built picnic tables on the deck are very nice. Slightly inconvenient to have no access to the garage or back decks from the front of the home, as all wet tubes, life jackets, etc had to be taken through the home out to the decks. Overall, the home was nice and comfortable - just in need of a little TLC - cleaning spiderwebs from windows, painting, replacing burnt out bulbs.
