Rarely leave a review but this property deserves one. Property was as advertised and photos accurate. Nice setup right on the lake. Nice yard for kids to play in. Nice boat docks. Firewood provided - nice touch (believe first time that happened in my our numerous VRBO rentals). The two floors with each fully equipped with kitchen, living area and bedrooms in a sweet setup for for multi-family. Fishing was good right off the docks (our grandson caught his first fish). The icing on cake was dealing with the property owners (sincerely concerned about our stay, providing info on the area, communication, etc.) and checkout instructions were most reasonable compared to some other units we's rented in the past

One of the Best we have ever stayed! Location to everything was super … the supplies were great… we didn’t have to bring anything which is great! Gary the owner was an exceptional host… asked a few questions and he was on top of everything with answers … all the dishes , pots, glasses was excellent quality . Would give all a 5 out of 5 Thank you Gary

We loved our stay here! The house was super clean and fully-stocked with just about everything we could need. Our family had a great time using the paddle boards and canoe too. Our hosts were quick to communicate and very helpful with tips and information about the property.

Excellent Thanksgiving with family! 2 kitchens were great accommodations for cooking! Lots of room and Beautiful view!!

My husband and I and our son and his family stayed at this immaculate property on Cayuga Lake as we went to visit family in the area. We would gather together during the day or evening for meals and separate for sleeping. The home is decorated beautifully and everything is basically brand new. Gary and Penny are wonderful hosts and when we had trouble figuring out their new heating system, they immediately handled the situation. It was a "modern technology" issue and handled immediately, although Gary and Penny drove all the way over with a space heater just in case. This home sits right on the lake and has beautiful views. Had we had better weather, we would have enjoyed sitting out at the firepit lakeside. We did manage to have some relaxation lakeside in their swings. Home is located near wineries, a small town and a major town. We had a wonderful family getaway and hope to return in the future. Thank you Gary and Penny, nice to meet you! Cheryl and Pierre and family.

Met up with some friends who came in from near and far and this place had everything: Beautiful lake views, lots of yard space, two kitchens and a grill. Large fire pit seating area. The only thing we wished we had was a stairway connecting the top and bottom units- but not a huge deal. Gary was very helpful with questions leading up to the trip. Highly recommended!

"Great for Families Traveling Together" could not be more accurate. Two separate units, up and down really worked out well. Gave our two families enough space to get away, but all get together in the yard, at the fire pit or on the dock. The town is super quaint with a marina and small town grocery store just minutes away.

We rented both the upstairs and the downstairs units. This property is brand new and exactly as described. The backyard is great. Fire in the fire pit every night. Owner provides the wood! You just need starters. Quarry Ridge winery is very close and can’t be beat for its setting especially on a nice day. Hike the Great Gully (easy walk) if weather allows (wear water shoes from the start - you’ll be crossing the stream multiple times)

We had such a great trip to Cayuga Lake! We had a group of 6 and the split units was very helpful. We were able to have the younger couples upstairs and my dad and brother downstairs for some privacy. The yard and docks were great, Gary had even stopped by to mow the lawn and make sure our stay was going well. Definitely saving this rental for future travel!

Spacious home, well-stocked kitchen, quality linens, but best of all, a large backyard leading directly down to private dock. No better place to watch the sun set - except perhaps from one of the optional kayaks or paddle boards! Union Springs doesn’t offer much of a downtown but sits just 15 minutes from several good restaurants, historic towns., and wineries. Owner was very friendly and responsive and offered great tourist tips.

This was my families 1st post covid vacation and it was one where memories were made! My family and I had the pleasure of being the 1st guests of this newly posted property. This property is also newly remodeled and VERY CLEAN. The 6 bedrooms had a lot of space for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. Despite having a 2 yr old that refused to sleep alone, I had the best sleep! We had 4 families on this trip and having 2 units means 2 fridges and 2 washer/dryers for 12 people was necessary! We spent the majority of our time together in the bottom unit which was closets to the back yard, grill and lake. We love to cook and entertain and their kitchen was fully stocked. They also purchased a clam pot for steaming clams after I had inquired if they had one! The hosts Gary and Penny were very welcoming and prompt in responding to our questions both before and during our stay. They made us feel like part of the family. What I loved most about the property was the access to the lake and large backyard. We spent the majority of our time swimming, taking in the sunsets and sitting out by the fire. We also took in the local sites and went swimming at the Gully which has waterfalls and was less than a mile drive from us. We also made reservations in advance with Bianconi Ltd for a private sunset private charter on the lake. Matt, the owner and operator was amazing and had a lot of history to share about we even saw 3 bald eagles! We had a lovely time. This is a great family getaway for all ages!
