I was quite impressed by the location, cleanliness, style and information exchange at this property. I had a hotel hiccup during family member's funeral activity, and was able to get quick turnaround to be placed here for a very pleasant stay. Thank you for everything!

Our trip was cut short right before leaving due to a COVID exposure. I immediately notified the owner to see if he would work with us. We had purchased insurance for the trip however it only covered interior damages as I have three small children ages 5 ,3, and 1 and we had every intention of going after spending the money beforehand. The owner stated he would be willing to help us if travel ins would not cover the expense. (I have the emails). Fast forward to almost a month later and still no response from this owner after four attempts. He took our hard earned money and disappeared off the face of the earth after stating he would move our reservation for a later date or make some other arrangement with us if ins would not help or cover. To date...that has NOT happened and I have reached out via email and phone number(provided when we paid) and no answer back over the course of a month. I am not writing this review in haste....I have waited for a month to hear a response and have heard nothing. The owner has kept our money for our first vacation in years and has been dishonest about helping us. Four points of contact over the course of a month with ZERO response. This transaction has robbed our family of our vacation and money and this owner obviously could not care less. What type of decent human being does this? My advice is to stay as far away from this rental as you can as the owner will tell you they will help and they care however that is NOT the case. As stated before....this isnt the rant of an angry person...I have all the email proving the owner stating he would help and he has not....at all.

This was the perfect home for a weekend away in the mountains. The house was beautiful, fenced in backyard for the dogs & enough space for adults to spread out. James was super attentive and responsive to any question and made our stay great. We would definitely come back to this area & stay again.

The hiking, close to Blue ridge, back yard for the dogs, and responsiveness of the owner made this a great trip. We will 100 percent be back.
