Everything was convenient, short walk to beach, good variety of shops and quality restaurants. Everything you would need in the condo. We were fine because we were careful, but it would be wise to mention the very steep, concrete, sharp edge stairs, which would not accommodate even a small woman’s foot. We would return for sure!!

Lovely condo, perfect location and well suited for 2 people. The condo was very clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable. Everything is exactly as depicted in the pictures. It was nice that both the bathroom and kitchen had skylights; which made the rooms bright with natural light when the sun was shining. No AC but a small fan is provided, so with the windows open, the ceiling fan on and using the small fan we were quite comfortable. Having the garage and dedicated parking space was a bonus. Overall a very cute and lovely condo.

We loved staying here! Only downfall was that there is public stairs right outside the windows so it’s pretty noisy at times. Just trying to relax & it felt as if people were so close they might as well be inside the condo with us. But very clean spot! Loved it for the most part.

My boyfriend and I spent 2 nights at this property in mid-July. We were visiting from WA state to attend an outdoor concert at the local Golf Resort. We loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants (and the concert venue). Along with getting beach time in, we spent time sitting on the deck. The apartment is cozy and comfortable. Having no AC was never an issue for us, as the space kept cool. We enjoyed breakfast/lunch at Avila Market (enough to have twice) and bought fresh ground coffee from Krakin to use during our stay. You can’t go wrong with the location and felt like we got a great deal compared to the comps in the area.

I always enjoy Avila Beach and this was a perfect place for my small family of three for a few days. It was nicely decorated with beach theme a clean. Had we stayed longer the kitchen and laundry would have been useful. My biggest complaint is that the code I was given for the lock box was incorrect and it took longer than it should have to access the key. Thanks to my teenage son we were able to get in without contacting the manager. There were just a few housekeeping issues: 1) a pair of panties from previous guest in the bedroom and 2) cover off the shower drain which could lead to a major plumbing issue. Otherwise the unit was very nice and a great location in the center of Avila. I would stay there again.

My husband and I loved our condo! There were a couple of minor issues that were immediately addressed by the property manager promptly and politely. I know some prior travelers complained about being right in the middle of everything, but that was part of the allure for us. We didn't want to have to get in the car once there, and we didn't have to! Loved it! Thank you for a great stay and easy process! My husband has already suggested that we make this our "go to" place to stay and I am all for it!

My husband I really enjoyed our stay here. The parking is great and you are steps away from all the fun in Avila beach. The bed was super comfortable, the living room cozy but spacious, it had a great kitchen and the bathroom was perfect and the onsite laundry was great too! There is some foot traffic around the condo - but you can easily shut out the noise by closing the window or the slider. We mostly kept it open to enjoy the ocean breeze and the happy bustle that is part of the Avila experience. Really fun place!

This is the second time staying at this Condo in Avila - love it. Will probably stay again next time in the area.

Well positioned in the heart of Avila, with a short walk to beach, shops, and food.

The unit had no A/C, it was very hot and the only way to attempt to cool down the unit is by opening the doors and windows. There is a lot of foot traffic therefore very loud. Those walking by can see right into the unit. We also came back to find our designated parking spot occupied which was annoying. There are several items broken in the unit (kitchen faucet, towel hook in the bathroom, some of the windows don’t open). Again not worth what is being charged. The unit itself is fully equipped. The location is very central.

This unit is spacious and very close to shops/restaurants and just steps away from the beach. The parking was such a huge help in this very busy area. Really, I'd say everything is just like it says in the description - you will not be disappointed. As mentioned in other reviews, there are steep steps to reach the unit, and if you are a very private person you may not like the windows' proximity to the public walkway, but we found the blinds to be sufficient for our privacy needs. Be aware there is heat but no air conditioning in the unit so if you need absolute silence to sleep - that can be tricky with the windows open for air flow. The kitchen is perfect and has everything you need - and the shower/laundry room is great for a midweek wash. Dish soap/sponge/ laundry soap were provided. There was no shampoo or conditioner though, so bring your own. The dining area had a small view of the ocean and we loved being so close to the sand and able to walk to coffee, meals, dessert, wine tasting and the beach. The property manager was easily accessible by text and available for questions during our stay. We absolutely loved our time in Avila and this condo was exactly what we were looking for. One word of caution though: if you have back problems or are very sensitive to the hardness of your mattress - this is a very firm bed.

Plenty of room to spread out in this well appointed one bedroom. You won’t need it though, as there’s too much going on outside the front door to spend much time in the condo. The great location does come at a small price: There’s quite a bit of late night traffic coming through outside the bedroom windows, and that includes some dumpster action every night that I could have done without. It’s worth it though, to be so close to the beach and all the Avila restaurants, and the parking space is a great bonus that you’ll be thankful for if you have a car. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

We were visiting for Cal Poly graduation. This was a wonderful place to stay, just out of the way, but easy to get back and forth to town. The condo was steps away from the beach and shopping. Underground parking was a huge plus too!

This was perfect for our girls weekend. Walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants in Avila. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend is another mirror outside of the bathroom... 3 girls getting ready and 1 mirror. I know, I know... high maintenance :-) Loved our weekend away!!!!

Perfect location! Clean, comfortable, relaxing!

We loved our stay in this condo, it’s right next to downtown and the weekly farmers market. We loved walking to the local coffee shops each morning and sitting at the dining table in the condo with the view out the window. Just a few points to clarify, since I was a little confused when booking. The description says it’s 100 feet from the sand, and that it’s on the second floor. There is another building between the condo and the water, so even though it’s so close to the beach, that’s what makes it a “partial” ocean view. There is also an elevated walkway next to the balcony/window, so people can see straight into the condo when windows are open (if you’re looking for a secluded spot and privacy it’s not ideal). Also, we struggled a little with finding the garage and the correct parking spot, since it’s not labeled very well, but we did figure it out. Having a designated parking spot was great since Avila gets pretty crowded on weekends. Overall a very relaxing stay in a great location.

We loved the location of this apartment, but there are a fews things that definitely need improvement: 1. Fix the shower drain. We had standing water within minutes of turning on the shower. Over Two inches after five minutes. We reported this, but the Thanksgiving holiday precluded it being fixed before our departure. 2. Get a new mattress for the bed. We had four good days in Avila followed by four bad nights of sleep. 3. Paint stripes in the parking garage and label each space clearly ("Reserved #60", etc.). The parking was an issue for us, and we had no recourse. I appreciated the prompt response by David when I did actually text him.

This is a lovely condo across from Avila Beach and adjacent to shops, cafes, wine tasting rooms and fantastic views.
