This house was the perfect answer to our needs…..we vacay with another family and it was perfectly situated to provide convenient access to the Mountains as well as all Colorado Springs and Monument/Larkspur activities……really impressed with the downtown area of Monument and if you go make sure and try a pizza from Papa Bear Pizza as well as some of the other local shops and eateries…….the lake is walking distance and beautiful for short hikes and fishing. Property was easy in and out and the contact with Zia was great and made check in and out stress free. Would definitely stay here again…….

Let me start by saying it’s atypical for me to write a review, especially of one that is so negative. I was very surprised to walk into the house with an odor the evening we arrived. Shortly after I noticed the dishes in the dishwasher were dirty, the downstairs shower had hair laying on the drain and the toilet was NASTY. I reached out to let them know including the missing pillows for the back master bedroom. I received a response of “sorry and the concern has been noted”. When asked if they could send someone to clean, the response was “I’ll schedule a cleaning” which did NOT happen during our stay. In addition, the back master tub drain is clogged - slow draining during a shower, the dryer heating elements are shot (so hang dry your clothes), the sliding door blinds are missing slots and in poor condition, the sprinkler system stays on creating a muddy mess and water running into street. The location was great, the views were priceless, the distance to the town is fantastic and we even walked to dinner/ice cream a couple of times. Extremely disappointed in the homes condition and the uncaring non-solution response. Not worth $$$ a night -

The home is exactly as pictured and beautifully located a 5 minute walk from Monument lake and conveniently located near downtown Monument which has several restaurants and coffee shops. It is also a short drive to several tourist attractions, we visited Garden of the God's , Pikes Peak, Seven Falls and Manitou Springs Cliff dwellings. We stayed with a family of 9 and a toddler and there was plenty of space for us to fit comfortably and house was clean. Zia was also very responsive to all of our questions. Overall a wonderful stay and we hope to return in the near future.

First the good: the location was great, with easy access to USAFA for our daughter's graduation. We had a long-standing reservation for another property that was canceled the day of our arrival. We found this house as a last-minute back-up. The property manager answered all of my questions promptly, allowing us to quickly make arrangements during a difficult situation. When we arrived, there were fresh roses on the table. They were so lovely, we thought they were fake! There was plenty of room for our extended family of 9, and the ping-pong table was a hit. The neighborhood was nice, with easy walking access to the lake, trails, parks, shopping, and dining. Unfortunately, there was inadequate seating upstairs - the separated sectional sofa only had seating for four. in addition, the property was somewhat lacking in maintenance. The yard was weedy and some of the furniture was in disrepair. There was coffee in the coffeepot, some trashcans hadn't been emptied, and the linens didn't seem fresh. Fortunately, these problems were all easily fixed, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Since these issues weren't listed in other reviews, I hope that our experience was an anomaly. One thing that would have been helpful would have been a binder with information about the area, trash pickup days, and checkout procedures.

We had the best stay at this property. Two families shared this spacious house! PLENTY OF ROOM!! Check-in was very easy. The lake is literally a three minute walk. Close to Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, restaurants, shopping and groceries. TV's in every room. Clean! The property owner was very responsive and great to work with! We will be back next year. Thanks for a great stay!

The check-in & out & location were great, (close to Gleneagle where we gathered for a family reunion. ) The beds were comfy, the house was perfectly roomy for our family of 11, ages 5 -75, & very child-proof with no fragile items to protect. Zia was very earnest & responsive to requests & did everything he could to ensure a good stay! A bonus was that the neighbors were happy to take our surplus food & drinks when we left !

The house was large and accommodating for our family. We would definitely stay again. The owner was accommodating to allow us to take possession a day early, would probably account for the carpet needing a good cleaning. Otherwise things were pretty much in order. We really enjoyed our stay! Very close to the beautiful lake, well stocked with towels and dishes and anything else you might need, was very clean, and had plenty of room for all of us. We would love to come back again someday soon!!

We had 9 adults staying for a family Wedding event .with plenty of room to spare . Check in was easy using a digital lock. We cooked breakfast every morning. Kitchen was great and functional. .Nice large frig. We walked to Monument Lake area for a strol. We visited the farmers market on Saturday morning in Monument .

This new large house had exactly what our family needed with lots of room for large family gatherings and meals. Super easy access and lots of things to do nearby.

The host was awesome! He actually allowed us to check in early and leave our luggage in the garage as we arrived early. The house was in a good neighborhood and the lake near by was beautiful! Easy access to multiple locations we visited while our stay and just a beautiful view of the mountains from the house!

We rented this home because my husband and I were getting married down the street at hearth house venue. Our wedding party was a total of 8 people including ourselves. We had enough room in the house for everyone to have a place to sleep plus 4 kids, and spouses for each person, there was so much space for everyone. The house is big and has plenty of bedrooms/sleeping space! The neighborhood is pretty and is literally two minutes from the venue so for us it was the perfect house for thanksgiving weekend and my wedding. The owner is so accommodating and overall the entire stay was worth every penny spent.

Great location , quiet neighborhood, very clean and huge home to accommodate 15 people for a wedding weekend. Owner was very hands on contact at all times with any questions needed. Home is 20 minutes from Colorado Springs , Garden of the gods , plenty things to do and shops and restaurants. Denver is a quick 45 mjns away also if headed that way. Home has a ping pong table which kept us busy during down times and plenty space for everyone to relax and chill. Thank you for having us. We enjoyed it. Also my wife would like to know if anyone found a silver necklace with a cross on it on the windowsill in the downstairs bedroom next to the bathroom. Thanks again

This was a great rental for our family with adult kids and grandkids. There was ample space and bedrooms, for 3 adult couples, 3 single adults, 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers. We liked that it was kid friendly with no fragile or breakable decor. The location near the Air Force Academy was great for us and we found several really good restaurants close by without having to drive to Colorado Springs. We would definitely recommend the property to others.

We had a weekend trip to visit our son at USAFA. We had plenty of room for him to invite some of his friends to join us and relax. We had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable in the house. The owners were easy to communicate with on a few questions we had and provided quick responses. We would highly recommend staying in this house. The neighborhood was very nice and the people were friendly. Easy access to get to the house and close to several restaurants.

We had a family of 8 of us that stayed here for a wedding in town. Plenty of room with 3 full baths and 4 bedrooms with plenty of couch space as well for more people. Short walk to beautiful Monument Lake and close to downtown, so location was convenient.
