Awesome house! Great location! Well thought out set up of all of the rooms and kitchen was stocked better than any other rental I've been in! Great thoughtful touches like a personalized welcome sign; free shell collection containers; coffee bar complete with beans to grind and a full selection of k-cups, along with coffee syrups; access and usage of a beach wagon, beach chairs, sun tent, beach toys, kayaks, etc; full bag of charcoal to use; tons of kid equipment and toys, etc. Jess and her family really make you feel welcome! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again when the time permits! You can easily walk to the beach or the river and it's a very short drive to Publix and downtown St Augustine! The bedding, towels and decor were top notch!

The photos of this home are amazing and it is even better in person! All the beds were very comfortable and everyone slept late everyday, including the kids! A huge plus for kids is that the house is loaded with toys and games. We also had a blast on the putting green outside. I have to say that this is our favorite vacation rental that we have ever stayed at. If you are reading this, trust me and book this place!!!

We booked Casa Del Sol for a 3-generation Spring Break family reunion. The property and host were incredible. Jess was very attentive to my questions prior to the trip. I didn't have to reach out at all during our trip as everything was perfect. The owners haven't missed a detail! The location of the property was perfect as well. We enjoyed daily walks to the beach to see sunrise and the river to see sunset. We will most definitely be back!

I have stayed at a number of VRBOs and Casa del Sol did not disappoint. Jessica does a fantastic job of managing the property and also gave us some tips on what to do while on vacation. I highly recommend Casa del Sol.

We had the best time at this home. Plenty of room for everyone to hangout together or have space for some quiet time if needed. We played golf, connect 4, corn hole and just relaxed by the fire. A short walk to the beach or even a couple of great restaurants. The home has everything you'll need for a great vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, all you need is the food to cook. One of my favorite things was the showers had full size bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner. I'm sure that your stay here will give you ever lasting memories of a great vacation. 🙂

1. First of all, Jessica is a very attentive, responsive, and thoughtful host. Absolutely 5 star. 2. The property is immaculate and gorgeous. Very well appointed with everything needed in terms of kitchen stuff, utensils, towels, games and accessories. 3. Sleeping areas outstanding. 4. Beach about 2-3 blocks away. Easy walk even for kids. We used the golf cart to shuttle. Plenty of beach accessories and beach towels provided. 5. We also used the Serenata Beach Club which has a heated pool, kid pool (not heated), plus separate adult pool and hot tub. This also is a fabulous facility. 6, We easily parked 3 larger vehicles at the property with room for more. 7, Washer and dryer perfect. 8. St Augustine area very historic and fun to explore. Downtown has neat architecture. Pretty commercialized but fun. I do not recommend the Pirate Museum for kids: ours got pretty scared. The Fort is cool, as is the Shrine. 9. Our favorite restaurant was Aunt Kates on the river. 10. Neighborhood and neighbors very friendly. 11. Overall, highly recommended property.

Our Winter Recess group consisted of 13 humans, spread across four family units and three generations: one set of grandparents (who took the 1st floor master suite); three of their children and respective spouses ( who took the three 2d floor rooms without bunk beds); and five grandchildren (ages 3 months through 6 years), the oldest four of whom slept in their own beds in the bunk bed room, with the an infant sleeping in a porta-crib with her parents. The two wings of the second floor (separated by a room with a humongous TV and a video game machine, which we used as a den) provided ample privacy and bathrooms. Though we were there for nine nights, we ate dinner out only once, taking advantage of a huge and well-appointed kitchen that included, among other things, such relatively rare (in a VRBO rental) items as a double-oven; a food processor; and cookie cutters and muffin tins, all of which we used. The coffee bar is a real thing, as advertised. And the house was extraordinarily well-stocked with items for the kidos: age appropriate books and games; a play kitchen with scores of pots, pans, dishes, and make-believe food. Also, as advertised, the house is walking distance to the ocean, the river (for kayaking, which we used the golf cart for transportation), and a nice restaurant (Caps) which was our sole dinner out with the entire family. Finally, we made plentiful use of the beach club, which has two very large pools (one heated), a child's wading pool, a hot tub, and a nice exercise room, and is very well laid out and pretty.

This house comes equipped with everything you need for a large group of adults and children. Lots of space and options for entertainment provided. It’s also a short walk or golf cart ride to a private area on the beach where you feel comfortable letting young ones run free. Perfect vacation spot!

The house is beautiful, clean, spacious with lots of extras. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for a large family. The host includes a lot of things that made the trip easier and more enjoyable - beach towels, use of golf cart, outdoor games (corn hole, large Connect Four game and putting green), kayaks, bikes. This house was amazing! Pictures are accurate, but there is so much more that cannot be captured. Super clean, well-stocked house in a superb location away from the hustle and bustle. Yet close to the beach, great restaurants and less than 20 minutes to downtown St Augustine. We picked up our daughter from the JAX airport - an hour away…. We all loved this place and area. Jenn was an amazing host. We would like to visit again!

My family went to St.. Augustine for a pre Thanksgiving weekend.. and let me just say that The house was AMAZING!! It's located in a quiet neighborhood and had ALL of the amenities you could ask for and ones you wish other places had,, but don't. They had little things that added a nice touch, like a welcome Colbert family sign, snacks,, games, seasonings, and little plastic containers to put seas shells and shark teeth you may find on the beach to take home with you, to just name a few. The house is about 10 mins max to popular St. Augustine sites. Jessica was so easy to get ahold of and very friendly and super accommodating. I highly recommend this house and will definitely be going back in the future.

To our hosts, I just want to say thank you for a perfect stay. You were wonderful, your communication was superb and you made us feel comfortable in your beach home even before we arrived. I have been using various platforms for vacation rentals for approximately 2 decades now, and you are definitely the best communicators we have dealt with so far. You also show the most love towards your home and guests than I have ever encountered. As a whole this experience was truly refreshing and just what we needed to spend time together as an extended family and have a wonderful family experience after the memorial services we attended. The home and your excellent customer service were just what the doctor ordered to help us refresh. Thank you! Also, thank you so much for letting us go back after we had already checked out to get something that we had forgotten. To others who may be considering renting this home… it’s luxurious, immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable. I talked more detail below, but to keep it short, it provided everything we needed to have a good, relaxing weekend in one of our favorite spots in the country. I’d readily stay here again without hesitation and recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for a vacation rental. This home is in a fantastic location. There is so much to do in Saint Augustine, and you are about 6-8 minutes away the heart of the town. Whether it be modern adventures, shopping, sight-seeing or history… you’ll find it here. The beach is about a 5-minute walk with gear and the river is a bit closer. There are a bunch of hermit crabs near rock piles on the river. Caps on the Water (about an 8 minute walk from the house) is a luxury seafood restaurant where you can feel equally comfortable wearing formal or casual clothing. The beach itself is about as quiet and private as you can find on the east coast of Florida so you can get out and play with some privacy and without worrying about others crowding too much. The hosts’ pride of ownership is readily on display from top to bottom, front to back and everywhere in between... the amount of love gone into the home is readily apparent! I feel myself lucky to have been amongst the first to have stayed here. The house was very beautiful, well decorated with beach and ocean themes. The home had everything. Seriously, I brought a lot of items with me, but there was no need! The hosts had thought of everything!

WOW what an awesome time we had! We knew it was perfect from the moment we walked in. The host was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond every chance she could get! 10/10 highly recommend!

We have been renting beach houses for 30 years. Casa del Sol and hostess Jess exceeded all expectations. This house has everything you would ever need on a vacation plus more. Too many details to mention, but the highlights were: kayaks to use on the intracoastal, golf cart to ride little ones to the beach, beach cart to carry chairs & boogie boards, plenty of room for eating & relaxing, and a well stocked kitchen for a big group. The rooms are spaced out so you do not feel crowded, ample space for our group of 19. Sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the river. Perfect location. Perfect vacation.

We are seasoned beach house renters (since 1999): this house was certainly the nicest and most luxurious in our history. We normally rent in Duck, NC on the outer Banks. Would this beach be better? It sure was. Warmer, softer, calmer-the family (22 of us-10 adults)loved the beach. During low tide, an inner baby-depth natural warm toddler pool would allow the little ones to have their own safe area to play in the water and sand. So watch for the tides. The rougher (fun for body surfing) waves come during the transition between high and low tides. The softer little one times were at low tide. Was this house better than any before? Absolutely; it's very nice, large, and well decorated. My wife and I had the master suite, which is very large and deluxe. All other rooms are so nicely decorated. Owner is very responsive and will do what is needed to make your stay a 5-star experience. We were the first users of a newly acquired 6-place golf cart, which greatly helped getting the little ones and stuff down to the beach. She was open to my contacting her at least a dozen times by phone and texts ( to get the cart up and running). We were truly blessed by her efforts. The bay/river area is closer to the house and we kayaked there as well as catch the sunsets. Sunrises were east- at the ocean. Some of the favorite attractions in the general area included: touring the castle at the end of 4th Street; the chocolate factory, west of downtown; St George Street downtown; all in all, it was a unique and special vacation for us at Casa DelSol. It's hard to thrill this family; most of us live at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, soaking in snow capped beauty every day. This house can do it! We hope to repeat.

We absolutely love the house!!! It was so awesome and it was everything we imagined and more. This wonderful place allowed us to build so many memories. Jessica was awesome to work with and the house has everything you would ever need to have a great vacation. I loved the short walk to either the beach or the intercostal waters. Jessica thank you for all your hard work in making such an awesome vacation get away.

Just got back from our first all-family beach vacation and this experience definitely sets the bar high! The house was perfect for our large group, there were 14 of us including teenagers and small children. The hostess was so great to work with: the house was clean & organized and had absolutely everything we needed. We even took advantage of the opportunity to hire the in-home chef and it was an AMAZING experience! Chef Tyrone went above and beyond -- he was so personable and kind to our group and cooked us an incredible meal! Our daily walks to the beach were so fun, some of our group kayaked every morning on the river, we spent a couple days exploring downtown St. Augustine, and trips to the store were easy too. Great location! We're sad this vacation had to come to an end, definitely looking to come back next year!
