Excellent location for theatre. Very spacious living area and kitchen well equipped.

Shower pressure was very weak (was warm though)

The property was in an excellent location with easy access to the train station, taxi rank,theatre and city centre. The apartment was clean and spacious and had all you needed in the the kitchen for a short stay. The beds were comfortable too.

The shower was a bit hit and miss. Kept flashing water supply and turning off. Not easy when you have your hair full of shampoo and cannot get the shower going again. It needs some instructions in the bathroom if this fault should happen again.

Perfect location for our weekend away, about 30 minute walk to Southampton Common, great communication with host beforehand.

Great location for the train station and shopping centres. The local pub is just a short walk away and is fab. Paul was very helpful and responded to messages quickly. Very comfortable flat.

No negatives. We had a fab stay and would definitely stay there again. Paul dealt with the issues we had so no need air and share.

The apartment was a short walk to the mayflower theatre which is why we were visiting, apartment was lovely and clean

The location was perfect, only a 5 minute walk to the theatre. The owner responded to our complaint about the dirty fridge and heater off the wall immediately and effectively.

We immediately noticed issues with state of the fridge which the owner rectified and left us some wine and chocolates as an apology which was appreciated. Generally though the apartment looked a bit worn; sockets loose, pull strings to shower and light looked dirty. There was no blind in the bathroom window and no hot water in the kitchen. The apartment had very good reviews for cleanliness but we didn't feel it lived up to it. A loud party in the street kept us awake into the early hours on our second night, although we appreciate this is out of the owners control.

Paul was actually there when we arrived so helped us in with our luggage and opened the keybox and let us in. The apartment was very spacious and had exactly what we wanted. Paul had been in contact with me quite a lot leading up to the arrival date and asked how we would like the beds to be set up & gave us all the information we needed.

If I was to be a bit picky there are a couple of points .... the staircase to the apartment was metal and I would imagine quite difficult for someone with mobility problems. There was also a cracked tile that could do with mending at the top of the stairs.

Shower ran out of hot water. We couldn’t get hot water in the kitchen? Needs a new kettle as the limescale was pretty bad. Couldn’t get subtitles off the tv in living room Could be doing with a dish rack and full length mirror. Plastic recycling bin would be good. These are just a few things to consider but it wouldn’t stop us coming back.

The size of the rooms

Spotless inside. Loved beds made on arrival. Loved Netflix usage and free WiFi. Plenty of room for 3 of us. Could easily sleep 6. Parking was easy and accessible. Communication with owner was excellent. Free tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc. Towels really soft and beds comfy.

Access was via metal staircase to second floor. This was OK but a little slippy when it rained.

Very specious and comfortable apartment. Excellent location, ten minute walk away from the main shopping centre. Excellent host too. Would absolutely stay again next time we’re in Southampton’s
