House was very nice. Nice pool area. Limited parking . Boat lift did not work as advertised, sink on dock did not work and had to be repaired while we stayed there. There were sugar ants that destroyed a lot of groceries, that are not cheap these days. Owner controlled the a/c thermostat which is ridiculous when your paying a substantial amount for a week of your stay and it's 95 degrees outside. Owner and neighbors monitor your every move which does not make an enjoyable vacation. We left the house very clean when we left. I've never had this many issues with any place I've stayed in before.

This was my 14th year of taking my kids and grandkids on vacation through VRBO. At the end of vacation we always vote on next years spot. This was the first time the kids want to return to the same property. What can I say about this beautiful home, quality, comfort, great fishing, awesome pool, close to beaches, etc…. We will be staying here again next year.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks. It was so great for our 2 families with children. We loved the pool! I think it was the best feature of this property! We also enjoyed the canal. Our boys were fishing all the time! The view from the canal was amazing ! We absolutely loved it! The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed: I would love to rent this house again.

Such an amazing spot
We came with our family and it was amazing!! Very clean with plenty of bath and beach towels as well as a stocked kitchen. The outdoor area was perfect for sitting outside to eat and watch the family in the pool or while they were fishing. They had plenty of pool toys and floats and fishing poles. The bikes had flat tires but we enjoyed walking the quiet neighborhood. Loved the area! It was 10-15 minutes to Walmart, Publix and Winn Dixie , 20 minutes to a few beaches (Boca Grande is a must). Close to restaurants and fun activities. Contact with the owners was so easy.

Great area ...villa well positioned with sweeping views across waterway ...lovely villa plenty of equipment lovely clean room and pool was ace ....would recommend but you must have vehicle as its a very quiet localtion.

Our family had a fabulous time. The house was lovely, clean, close to many beaches, resturants and quiet neighborhood. Gregg; the owner was very informative, courteous and easy to contact prior to trip. Highly recommend!!! We will be back!!!

The home was very spacious and comfortable. The water view was amazing and the heated pool was fantastic. My group enjoyed the relaxed and peaceful environment.

When we arrived the pool was hot-we assumed it was due to weather. I had apparently paid for a heated pool. The property manager says VRBO charges everyone so he had to turn it on. Pool was cloudy. We had a few days we could not use the pool due to Chemicals 3 to be exact and several trips from the pool man with no refund. The owner did refund our money for heating the pool. On departure we cleaned the home very well. Very little for the cleaning we paid for. On departure I received an email from. The property manager telling me I was being charged to remove garbage to another site as I put garbage in the wrong can. There are 3 cans 2 of them for trash pick up. One apparently for outside purposes. Nothing states garbage limits I was told if I recycled correctly. I would not have had this problem . No where is there anything related to how garbage is to be disposed or recycled or the amount you are allowed to have and you are required to dispose of on your own on departure. It only tells you Monday is garbage day.

We brought an inflatable kayak to take on the canal which was beautiful. Having a kayak or two on the property would make a nice addition. Caught two catfish from the dock, and broke my line on something huge, got a quick glance at it, probably a carp, but fought it for a minute before it decided it had enough and took off. Engelwood beach was very nice, it's about 25 minutes away, but if you're into collecting shells and sand dollars, Boca Grande Island is better choice. Overall a very nice stay.

it was the perfect location quiet out of the way of tourist but yet close to anything you wanted to do the house was beautiful clean and laid out where you had privacy if need be. We loved the Location and we will book this home again.
