Property was great and we would rent again. My only suggestion would be to heat the pool during the winter rather than just the spa.

We had a lovely long weekend at this house. The pool and hot tub are really nice, and you’re super close to the beach for easy walks when you want to be on the sand. The trolley picks up right at the corner for easy trips into downtown. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect place for us, a party of two families, in total 7 persons. Enough space and not crowded. Close to perfect beaches and lots of fun things to do. Quick answers from the landlord to our questions.

The location was a short walk to the beach which was fantastic! The owners were great in responding to email questions and via text message which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute; however, it was not completely clear that the 4th bedroom and bathroom were totally separate from the rest of the house. This would not be a problem if it were all adults, but we did not use this space at all because we had children with us. The kids did share the room with the bunk beds but the top bunk was not safe to sleep in as the bar across was bunk was extremely loose. The place itself was clean; however, we were really disappointed with the towels and bed sheets containing stains. Unfortunately, we could not sit outside on the porch because the garbage pails smelled like rotten shellfish so the whole outside was very smelly. The pool was kept up very nicely and very clean and it was very private in the backyard that was filled with trees. We were able to sit back there and enjoy it! The garage included floats, pads for the chairs, and other beach items. The house is right down the block from Publix which was very convenient.

We loved the house and the location. Owner was very Easy to deal with and accessible. I would note the bottom apartment has a Sulfur/Musky smell. House could use an Iron and toaster/toaster oven. Overall a great stay.

Definitely would stay here again. It’s a nice property overall that comes with plenty of items to get setup for a day at the beach. Very short simple walk to the beach from the house. Our only complaint with the stay would be the complexity of the pool/spa heating functions and the remote. Some days it worked great, other days it didn’t seem to work at all.

We so enjoyed our family .(there were 7 of us) vacation here. Everything was incredible...the pool and spa, the proximity to the beach, restaurants and grocery store close by made this vacation so special and memorable. Jennifer was great and answered all of our questions and was so accommodating. We would love to stay here again...it was perfect for us!

This was our first experience with a house rental and Jennifer was amazing she was great with all queastions prior to travel and during travel. We did not rent a car. Took public trasportation from the airport to the house. It took awhile after a long travel day. But 3.00 for 2 adults and 2 children to drive in the same traffic as an uber. Wasnt bad. The traffic downtown was the worst we have ever seen in our few years of visiting. so that meant all the trams were delayed. So we did more walking then we anticipated. The house is located in the quieter side of town. But we enjoyed our stay and the convience to and from the beach.

The best part was the pool, hot tub and proximity to beach. Was short walk with easy access accross Estero boulevard. 4 bedrooms was great for our family. Plenty of buckets and shovels for the kids. plenty of beach chairs, beach mats and beach towels. Great place to get away.

My family rented for one week. Everything in the description of the property is as described. The pool area is fantastic! Four bedrooms and three bathrooms are difficult to find, and this one is perfect in every way. I would recommend this house to any group: location, appointments, cleanliness, and immediate communication with the owner. We would rent this house again!

This rental is very nice for any family looking to get away to Fort Myers Beach. My family was staying on Sanibel Island and this was the closest location we could find. The drive only took 25 minutes at times, but other times we found ourselves sitting in traffic for hours near the beach and the bridge. The days that we did not have to drive were nice as there is a Publix only half a mile from the property and we had full private pool access and just a short walk to the beach. This area of the beach was not crowded at all so that was very nice for us as well. The kitchen and dining areas are plenty large enough for any meal you want to cook and the house was fully stocked. We did initially have some issues getting into the house (mostly because it was dark when we arrived), and with the hot tub, but the owner was very responsive and addressed all of our questions and concerns during our stay. I would recommend this property for any family traveling to the Ft Myers area.

My family had a great Thanksgiving stay at this house. It was a great location, a clean home, and a wonderfully heated pool. When the weather prevented us from going to the beach, the pool filled the day with fun. The home is in the middle of the island so it was easy to get to Time Square and also easy to be at a not-so-crowded beach. The beach is a short 5 min walk away. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were beach chairs, beach towels, and kids sand toys. The downstairs living area was the only area for improvement. To note, the downstairs area is separate from the house. We didn't realize this initially. It wasn't a problem for us since adults planned to stay there but just an FYI in case parents are thinking of putting their kids there. A full or queen-sized bed would be preferable over the double bed and allow a more comfortable stay. There was also a musty smell downstairs. Overall, I would recommend this home and hope to stay there again in the future.

Nice property, short and easy walk to beach (and trollee stop), convenient large parking area, 2 large decks and ample seating (but no shade on them) one overlooking pool and hot tub and with a sliver or two of beach view through the trees; very much enjoyed the small pool and connected spa, cute decorative touches (candle, afghan on sofa, etc.), functional small kitchen, plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, pool floats, sand buckets, etc. in garage. Good communication with owners. Be aware that bedrooms and bathrooms are tight, very little space to walk and no dressers, just a couple of little nightstands with canvas drawers in master and one wooden chair in room with queen; however, there are good size closets. Nice TVs in living room and kids bunk room, but none in master and the one in the queen room only works with your own service. Oh, and while other reviews mentioned issues with a/c, it worked great for us both upstairs and in separate downstairs living space — which our teens loved, and fought over who got to be down there by the pool and with their own fridge! Lastly, Great shelling right here on Ft Myers Beach at low tide at sunset — better for us than our day at Sanibel! Overall, very much enjoyed our stay at the Wobbly Pelican, wish it was longer!

We rented this place for a week with our family and some friends and their children, location was perfect, the closest beach ramp is a short walk, pool was nice, Publix is a half mile away. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was that we could not control the A/C as we would have wanted. We read the other reviews and the owner responded that it would freeze up due to running constantly due to doors and windows being open. A/C freeze ups are caused by issues with the system, low Freon or low flow across coils. For the cost to rent the place please fix the A/C. Other then that excellent place, excellent location, excellent communication. Still giving 5 stars in hopes the correct this only issue.

The owner claimed in Florida you could not lower the AC below 74F, that it will get damaged. My opinion as an Engineer, they have a defective AC and now they are claiming the insurance for it. Not to trust.

I stayed here with my family of 4 and friends family of 3. Having 3 teenagers with us we booked this house thinking that we can use lower level but we couldn’t. There was moldy smell that prevented us to spend any time there. One air conditioner is not enough to cool down two rooms. It was too hot in there. They couldn’t sleep down stairs as we planed. Three of them had to sleep in small room upstairs. I know owner just bought the house and it’s working on upgrades but I would say bathrooms need it really bad. Communication with owner was really good. Location of the house is great. You can walk to the beach.

This house is great! Great location, walking distance to the beach, pool and hot tub were a great addition. The neighborhood is nice and quiet neighbors were great! The only negative, Ubers were a little hard to get and it would of been nice to have a wagon to take stuff to the beach.

I stayed at this property with my three kids (6,5,2) and a friend of mine who also has 3 kids (7,5,2). The pool was our favorite! Perfect depth and layout for them. They played in here for hours every day. This property is a few minute walk to the beach. Beaches were not crowded, which was so nice! Kids could walk into the ocean ... and the sand was SO soft! Grocery store is a 10 minute walk down the main road, which was also great for us! Bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs were enough for us, so we didn’t even need to use the basement area to sleep. Plenty of room! Great communication with the owners, who responded timely with any questions we had! Would definitely recommend!!
