Great property, well maintained and the indoor pool was a hit with the kids. We also made use of dock. There is a wide variety of activities on the island. A wonderful time and would do it again.

Great venue

This house was perfect for our family gathering. Each bedroom has its own bathroom so each family had their own private space. The kids loved the indoor pool and also kayaking and spending time down by the water .. plenty of space to spread out and never felt crowded.. the views from front porch area were amazing .. my granddaughter summed it up perfectly when she said she was going home to tell her friends she’d spent a week in wonderland!

Just a really amazing property and location! The variety of fun activities was absolutely perfect for our group of 12. The pool house is fantastic, the kids loved it, but it had to compete with kayaking, sailing with friend's sailboat from the dock, corn hole championships on the beautiful back patio, and hiking. Beautiful house with a great kitchen (with everything you could possibly need), large, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Just around the corner from Roche Harbor, but you'll just want to stay at your private piece of paradise. Super host that is only present/available if you need him. Highly recommended, other than we want to keep it all to ourselves!

The photos didn’t do this property justice. This place is one we would love to come back too. My whole family hadn’t gotten together in 7 years, but we came together here for a lovely weekend of whale watching, relaxation and fun in the pool house. My brothers and I felt like kids again jumping off the diving board, and splashing around in the pool. The hot tub worked well and the kitchen was fully stocked. Never had an issue communicating with the properties team either. Highly recommend this spot, for its seclusion, its beautiful views and the magical memories to be made here.

Amazing property! Beautiful spot and very responsive host. Pool and hot tub were so great to have given marginal spring weather. Mattresses were very hard and kitchen cooking utensils were a little light but other than that, excellent place . We would rent again without hesitation if we could get in. Its booked far in advance and for good reason.

Had a great family vacation, kids loved the pool. Property is in a beautiful private setting. Kayaks provided for easy paddling right off private beach. Would definitely return!

Our family had a fantastic time. Some aspects of the property were a little worn and tired, but overall it was a very comfortable place for us and we're grateful for the opportunity to spend time there.

We had an amazing five days. We have been visiting this beautiful island every Labor Day Weekend for six years now, and this has been our favorite place. It’s a little paradise on the bay with so much to do for everyone of all ages. The pool house was a super treat for the kiddos. What an idyllic setting for a family holiday. Three generations from the U.S. and Canada have had a wonderful time sailing, swimming, kayaking, and just watching life in and on the water. Thank you!!

Our family has stayed in many beach houses around Washington over the years; Yacht Haven surpassed them all! The house is exceptionally equipped - far better than most we've stayed at - with large stacks of plates and bowls and most tools a cook could need. It's been carefully designed to host a crowd of friends or family, including a lovely table where you can enjoy your catch at the end of the day. It has numerous special touches, such as a rope swing hanging from a madrona and a special crab prep station complete with huge pot and propane cooking surface. While our kids usually end up shivering in the so called heated pools at vacation properties, at Yacht Haven they swam for hours without complaint. The adults in our group spent hours simply taking in the views as the property is perfectly situated for admiring the many boats that dock on the bay for a night or two. If your looking for excursions, the property is just minutes away from a lovely Alpaca farm and Roche Harbor, where we did brunch and chartered a fishing expedition. Highly recommend!

We had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home recently with my siblings and their spouses. The home feels more like a resort, given its location and the beautiful pool house on the property. There was so much room to be together as well as have your own personal privacy. On the first moment of gathering at the house, everyone just went outside and sat down on the chairs and watched the water and parade of beautiful boats entering the protected bays. The home has 5 kayaks on their private beach as well as 2 row boats. They were regularly used in the private waters as we watched seals and sea otters playing in the area. We will definitely return to this beautiful home.

This beautiful home was an amazing place to stay for a week on San Juan Island. The location was perfect with a gorgeous view of the water. Their was privacy for our family that went to bed at different times, including a 2 year old. We all enjoyed the indoor pool and used it everyday. Their were kayaks and crab pots if in season and we would have loved to dig clams, but there was a red tide. We hope to go back next summer.

My family held a reunion on the island and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay! The house is gorgeous, with plenty of seating to gather for meals and games, yet still offers areas to get away from everyone for a bit of quiet time. It included every amenity you could ask for. The property is secluded in the woods, very peaceful, with amazing water views and delightful sea otters that play right front of the house. The property offered so much to do that we felt like we were at summer camp; kayaking, boating, hiking, swimming, wildlife watching, etc. The property manager was always available via text for questions and promptly took care of any issues we had. It was a wonderful house and we all hated to leave at the end of our trip!

This home is an ideal vacation spot, privacy is first-rate, the only traffic noise are the boats crusing in front, private dock, Dungeness and Red Rock crab just in front, well-stocked kitchen, heated floors in the bathrooms, Jeff was very accessible and easy to communicate with, we will be back.......
