Lisa's home was perfect for our two young kids over the course of a month. It truly felt like a home away from home. Clear throughout, with fully stocked kitchen. We never felt like we needed anything for the entire stay. If we needed anything, Lisa was super responsive by text and communicated throughout. We would stay again!

We appreciated the quality, cleanliness, and comfort of this beautiful south county home. Lots of thoughtful little extras that were a treat for these tired parents vacationing with three kids under 12. From welcome snacks to bubbles to bug spray, we had everything we needed. AC is actually ductless, not central, but it kept us nice and cool all the same. The beach supplies were wonderful. Thank you and we hope to return in the future!

This is our second year staying and it was just as wonderful as the first! The property is in a great location close to lots of shops and restaurants. The house has great amenities and is very clean and well maintained. Looking forward to next year!

Our stay was amazing! The house accommodated our family well, giving us space as well as places to gather. The location was ideal-proximity to varied places of interest for all. Lisa and Steve are the best hosts we have ever had for Vrbo vacations- friendly, accommodating and thoughtful.

Our family considers this spot in Wakefield Rhode Island our summer home! It is 10 minutes to Scarborough or Narragansett Beach and it is five minutes from downtown Wakefield. Both of which my family of all ages enjoy tremendously. The house is absolutely adorable and very well maintained. it is spotless when we arrive and has everything we need. Honestly, I just can’t imagine a summer without a stay on Allen Street.

This is our second year staying at the Allen House and it was just as good, if not better, than the first! Lisa and Steve go out of their way to make you feel like their personal guests. The house is also incredibly comfortable and has anything you might possibly need for a great vacation. We especially love all of the beach items-- boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. We cannot wait to come back again next summer!

We had an awesome time at this beautiful home. We have been renting in South County for 13 years and this house was definitely top notch. The owners were very friendly and responsive and went above and beyond to provide everything we could possibly need. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The deck/yard was perfect for my girls to play and for us to relax. I would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful House - Close to Everything!
Our family stayed at the Allen House for two weeks this summer and had an amazing stay. When it comes to this vacation rental, the owners have truly thought of everything! We were greeted with two bountiful gift baskets-- the perfect surprise after a long day of traveling. The home was clean and beautifully decorated and included everything we needed for a fun beach vacation. The drive to the beach is quick and easy, and we loved being able to escape the crowds and come back to our little relaxing haven each day. Wakefield is also super cute and has lots of little stores and restaurants to check out. I would highly recommend this home to anyone vacationing in RI and hope to stay here again in the future!

The beat vacation rentals ever!
With all sincerity, I can honestly say that this was the best vacation rental that I've ever stayed in. They provide all necessities and then some. The house is immaculate. Delightful Week
Our stay at the Allen House was perfect. Steve and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed, and the house was clean, roomy, and so relaxing.
The house is a short and easy 7-8 minute drive to the beaches in Narragansett and a very leisurely, short, and beautiful walk to downtown Wakefield. We especially loved being able to walk downtown to the ice cream shop and apothecary/soda fountain each day and sitting outside in the picturesque backyard each morning and evening. This house is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! Thank you, Steve and Lisa!

Stay here!!!
We chose this property because it looked so peaceful and we wanted space for everyone. The pictures were right on the money. It was exactly as pictured and it was a vibe for sure. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be back. It was centrally located to shops, restaurants and beaches all within 15-30 minutes depending on what you are looking for. The owners thought of every detail from a fully equipped kitchen right down to the spices to all the beach items needed for a day at the beach. We celebrated my daughter’s high school graduation with a trip to RI with close family, and could not have asked for a more wonderful time. Thank you to the Walsh”s!!!

Peaceful escape
The Allen House really exceeded our expectations. If you like style, you'll love the vibe and lots of little touches that make it unique. It's very spacious and lots of living space, with privacy between bedrooms. It's so convenient to shops, restaurants and the beach but the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Thanks Lisa and Steve and I can't wait to come back!

Charming and Convenient!
We were welcomed to Lisa and Steve's charming home with a tray of treats on the counter and in the fridge. It was beyond generous! Their home is freshly decorated with lots of attention to detail and was stocked with anything anyone would need for a beach vacation. We did run out of propane during our two-week stay and Steve promptly brought us a new tank. The house is in a wonderful location - a short walk to town and a short drive to several beaches. We had a wonderful stay and hope to go back next summer.

Simply the best!!
It was a wonderful week and a wonderful house. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. It’s was clean, comfortable, cozy and spacious. Check in was amazing ( baskets galore!) and just all around perfect. I walked 2 miles every morning and even that was perfect!!! 5-10 mins from everything you want and need. Downtown Wakefield was lovely. Would rent again in a minute!

Great house layout and decor!
This house was perfect for our summer needs. Although there was a perfume cleaning smell when we first arrived, it aired out nicely. Great open space dining, kitchen living area. The three bedroom areas are separate for privacy. With small children this works great! The outdoor fenced patio and yard were perfect for relaxing. The kitchen had so many nice provisions when we arrived. This was much appreciated.
We could walk to town for dining and water fire on the river. Found a great little pottery studio down the street.
The decor is beachy teal which we loved! A fresh new sofa would make the place perfect! We will be back!

Already planning our stay here next year!
It was such a privilege of stay in Lisa & Steve's beautiful home. Our entire family had a great time!! The house is very clean and has a homey atmosphere. There are so many perks to staying here...four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, lots of living space, a fenced in backyard, close proximity to the beaches and Newport, cleaning and personal supplies along with linens provided, baskets of welcoming snacks, and even thoughtful bowls and treats for the dogs. The neighborhood is nice and dog friendly, too. Lisa and Steve are great hosts and we are looking forward to returning next year!

Great house!
We had a lovely time at Allen House. The owners did a beautiful job of creating a home away from home. The house is comfortable, has beautiful boho decor & is well stocked with linens, beach equipment, kitchen supplies, and even some complimentary snacks. True to the listing, the house is convenient to the quaint Wakefield Main Street, as well as a very short drive to Narraganset Beach. Our family also enjoyed Block Island one day & Newport on another short excursion. Lots of family fun at the house as well as out & about. We loved that our dog was able to join us for the trip. Lisa & Stephen even provided bowls for our pooch! I can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic Accomodations
Lisa was a spectacular host. We stayed at her home for 2.5 weeks and the house had everything we needed. The house is beautifully decorated and it was relaxing to just sit down and take it all in. So many cute and creative touches. Having four bedrooms was key for us and we felt the home was very spacious. The fenced in backyard is perfect for enjoying summer nights with Adirondack chairs, grill and plenty of seating. So many great touches the owners have put into this property that made our stay wonderful.

EXCEPTIONAL!
Look no further. This house is amazing. So cozy, very clean, and has everything you need! Great location- walking distance with sidewalks to downtown and bike path. The homeowners made you feel very welcome and were just a text away if you needed anything. Would highly recommend it!
