This property is so cute, especially the kitchen. It has everything you need and nothing that you don't! The location is great--the beach is just steps away. We stayed during cooler weather-- 40s to 50s at night and the heater was quite sufficient. My only request would be a few more curtains :)

Left for a few days as thought I Could work From there but due to Wi-Fi could not. Couldn’t reach landlord as no signal at all. Neighbor assisted and fixed the issue

We stayed as the whole family: two parents, two kids and grandma in August for a week. Everything was great: views, location, beach and weather. Cottage was clean, has everything we need, including linens, kitchen ware and outdoor grill with picnics table. Just not enough time for all the fun!

Lovely place, we hope to visit again in the future! I thought this was ocean-facing when I booked it, but I guess close enough! You can hear the ocean at night. The kitchen had the basics, could use a few more pots and pans. Linens were good, the cottage was very clean. This place is really about being on the beach in a secluded beach area.

The cabin is steps away from the beach, neat and tidy with everything we needed. We had a perfect week at this perfect location!

Marianne's cottage is clean and beautifully decorated in a beach theme. It's location is superb, with easy access to a pristine, uncrowded beach next to Popham Beach State Park. While it did feel "cozy," the weather was beautiful so we were outside most of the time. Living and dining area felt spacious for us. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Was quite warm in the cottage until the breeze picked up in the afternoon, so the fans were a big help. We had a lovely week with family and friends coming and going, all of whom adored the place. Thank you!

The property was as advertised and essentials were provided to make our stay comfortable. This cottage is uniquely located steps from Popham Beach and is one we would book again!

From the online presentation we were led to believe that the property was facing directly onto the ocean. Alas, it was perpendicular to the beach, four dwellings down the line, facing the parking lot with the ocean a distant view. There are other properties in this complex that do "front" the ocean; this is not one of them.

The property and location were just what we wanted. This was a wonderful way to spend some time by the ocean.

We are so grateful to have had four nights here, my only complaint is that we didn’t book more time! Truly a dream- would recommend stocking up on groceries to cook dinners as the closest restaurants are a bit farther away, but the kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and you can walk your dinner over to the beach! Fell asleep to crashing waves every night, explored at nearby giants stairs and drank coffee on the beach every morning. Wish we lived here!

My husband and I enjoyed this small cottage near the ocean for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The inside of the cottage is decorated well, kitchen is stocked well, and listening to the ocean with the windows open at night was fabulous. There are several other cottages at this property but it wasn't crowded. Being able to have a fire on the beach at night was fantastic too. Although this cottage is off the beaten path enough to feel you "got away" it is also close enough to run out for food or shopping as well.

We were so pleasantly surprised with the cottage! Don't let the square footage fool you - it is so smartly laid out. You can see the ocean from every window and relax to the sounds of the crashing waves. Marianne is a wonderful host and quick to respond to all questions. The kitchen is well-equipped including pots, pans, dishes, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, some basic spices, light cleaning supplies AND lobster instructions 😋! Cottage was clean and organized when we checked in. There were even extra fans in each bedroom. We brought extra towels with us but there are beach and bath towels there. Wifi worked perfectly for our 16 year-old so do you really need any other endorsement? Cottage also has a couple games for evenings and rainy days and cable and Roku. Beach is steps away and glorious. The community is small and friendly and quiet. Nearby Bath and Brunswick have great restaurants and our absolute fave lobster shack - Five Islands Lobster Co - is a beautiful 40 minute drive away in Georgetown. You really can't go wrong here! Marianne’s place was great for our family or two adults and two toddlers. Super clean, amazing location, responsive host. Can’t ask for more. Would certainly come back.

We stayed a week at this awesome cottage right on the beach. It had everything we needed and more! Clean, spacious, well-appointed! We cooked almost every night, the gas grill spot in the back has a great view of the ocean. Glorious days on the beach walking, reading, and relaxing - then cool nights in the cottage equipped with TV, wi-fi, comfy furniture, and cozy bedding. Host was available, accommodating, and we will definitely stay again! Thank you!
