Great property! Private even though semi-attached. Vacant lot on one side and public beach access directly across the street. Going to the beach could not have been easier. AND! the public beach access is not highly trafficked so there is always plenty of open beach space when you go! House was great- clean, everything worked, exactly as it looks in photos.

Great location, comfortable house, beautiful beach. Only downside was small bathrooms. Walking distance to delicious Fish Hut Grill. Close to everything.

We LOVED our stay!! The property was not only clean but very well stocked. Had we know how well stocked, we could have packed lighter. We didn’t want for anything our entire stay. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Will definitely rebook.

Such a nice house with a perfect setting. The house was clean and very well splinted. The location was excellent, near all sorts of stores and restaurants. The view from the master was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. While the stairs are daunting and definitely not for those with mobility issues, my legs eventually adjusted. The hike to the beach up the stairs of the boardwalk could also be an issue for some. We greatly enjoyed the home and the communication with the owners was fantastic. I hope to be able to stay here again.

When looking for a house this master bedroom caught our eye, it did not disappoint. The kitchen is spacious and very well supplied. Oh thank you for the comfortable furniture. There have been houses we have been to that that uncomfortable furniture and beds were an issue, but not this one. A short walk down the beach will take you to Surfs Up restaurant and the pier. Our favorite restaurant was Gaffers, do not try to eat their Nachos by yourself. Overall this home was fantastic. We are already planing on coming back and hoping we can rent this home again.

What a wonderful property! If you are on the fence about where to stay in Emerald Isle? Look no further, this is the house for you! Location is great: close to Publix, shopping, walking/bike trails and directly across the road from a great beach access. House was even better than described. Linens and towels were provided also starter supplies (hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, etc). Host were a pleasure to deal with and prompt to respond. Our family had a great vacation and we will be staying here agaiN!

This is our second time staying at this property. It is a great second row location! House is well stocked with most items you would need, although we already travel with our own soaps, paper products, and kitchen items. Still could use an outdoor enclosed shower with hot water to completely rinse off before coming into the home. So many good things about this property. Unfortunately with the rent increases for next year, we will probably search for another home. I understand the need for an increase, but $100 a night increase seems a bit much. Thanks for a great 2 years of fall beach weekends!

This was our second year staying here. The location of this property is truly breathtaking. Thank you for keeping it so accommodating. There is one thing that we noticed this time it wasn't as clean.

My family of 5 just wrapped a week here. The house has great views and is a short walk to the beach. The house was very well stocked with good kitchen items, beach towels, and beach toys. The property owner quickly responded to a few questions once we were in the house, which was awesome. This is a great house with a young family and can spread out the kids a bit but would advise bringing a baby monitor given the master is on the 4th level and the other bedrooms are on the 2nd. It is nice every bedroom has its own bathroom but the bathrooms are pretty small, which was a fine trade off in the big scheme of things. Word of caution is that this place has a lot of steps - might be really tough on individuals that cannot climb steps easily. Overall great place and we plan on staying at this spot again!

We had a great time. Steps away from the beach which made things very convenient. Nice and well maintained property. Was very clean. Only con would be that there are lots of narrow stairs - but we knew this and that was fine with us. But might be an issue with someone with limited mobility.

We were in town to visit our son who is stationed at Camp Geiger. It was about 40 minutes from the gate of Camp Geiger. Let me tell you this place is a gem. It is amazingly clean. From the fresh smelling laundry to the well stocked kitchen, it was immaculate. It was decorated beautifully with coastal themes throughout. Everything was high quality from the comfy beds and linens to the dishes and silverware and there was absolutely nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. The ocean breezes and views were breathtaking and the street was so quiet and peaceful! There were two grocery stores within less than five minutes to pick up everything we needed and the host was a great communicator and responded quickly when we had a question. Rent this place!! The only thing to note is that there are a lot of stairs and they are quite narrow. If you have any sort of mobility challenges you may want to consider a different property.

Wonderful property at the end of a cul de sac style street. Perfect for families looking for child safety while walking outside. The beach access ramp was literally directly across from the driveway. Beautiful foliage surrounded the residence on two sides offering privacy from other residences. The home was staged well and the furniture was lovely. We would highly recommend.

We love the ocean side of Emerald Isle and this is a great spot!

This was by far the CLEANEST beach property I think I've stayed in for a very long time! Not only was it clean but it was very nicely decorated, offered many conveniences and was super close to the beach, without being on the beach. I am a realtor who sees a lot of homes & I would highly recommend this one & absolutely stay here again! NOTE: The only 'small' item I would suggest is to replace the plastic/not as clean shower curtain in the guest bath with a linen liner and to ask your housekeepers to double check/clean the primary shower door ... it stood out since EVERYTHING else was sparkling clean! This property is absolutely wonderful. The owners have outfitted it to make it feel like home. It has everything you need and what they provide is comfortable and of the highest quality. My husband and I stayed for 4 days, celebrating our 40th anniversary and this home made it a very easy vacation. The location is superb, and the host was extremely responsive and available from the beginning. We loved it!

This duplex was just as described. Super convenient to the beach on a very quiet dead end street. Having all the sheets, towels, kitchen towels, and nice beach towels provided is a HUGE bonus. Although we travel with everything to get started at a rental house, it is nice to arrive to soap, toilet paper, paper towels and all of the other extras. Not having to bring our beach chairs was also an added bonus. Beds were super comfortable. I would possibly suggest to have extra pillow cases available for the extra pillows in the closet (I never saw any). An enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower would make this place ideal for summer stays. Having kids, there is always more sand than you think even after rinsing off outside. We would definitely consider staying at this home again! Thanks for sharing your property with us!

The property was all that you could won't very clean and a great location to the beach and very well stocked. We may try to stay there again check in was a breeze.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary of 44 years! This was a delightful property that offered a wonderful view with excellent location! It was clean and perfect for us. Everything on the listing was to the letter!

very nice place, great location in EI, proximity to the beach, ping pong table was fun, outside corner lot privacy, always a nice breeze, ocean views, we had a great week of weather and great time while there. The only problems we had were figuring out the Cuisinart coffee maker (something simpler would be easier), and difficulties with several of the doors (overhead garage door - latch mechanism and just binding, garage side door - dead bolt can't latch, and top level sliding glass door - hangs up, difficult to move)......worth some maintenance, but they didn't deter us from totally enjoying our stay.
