We were a multigenerational family (18 of us) who love the Palm Desert area. This was our first time in Indio and the house was large enough to accommodate us all. It was 110 degrees while we were there! The a/c worked wonderfully! Unfortunately we did have some issues that I had to contact Jia about when we first arrived (1) The pool was dirty, cloudy, skimmers were full of stuff. I don't think it had been serviced/cleaned after previous guests. Jia had a pool service come the next morning. He serviced the pool and added chlorine. The neighbor's palm trees had seed/flower pods dropping right into the pool making a mess throughout the day. We needed to clean the surface of the pool, however, the skimmer net was broken and unusable (2) Upon arrival one of the shower handles had fallen off and placed in the corner of the tub. We were unable to turn on the water (3) one of the toilets was clogged. We attempted to clear it to no avail. Jia sent a maint guy out right away to fix both issues. (4) casita and one of the other bdrms didn't have a tv remote. We found 3 in one of the other bdrms & two needed batteries. It took some time to match up the remotes to the tvs (5) Several lightbulbs were out throughout the house and casita. (6) top oven was unusable because the door was broken (7) all trash/recycle bins were FULL and "smelly" from previous guests.(8) kitchen air vent cover hanging by one screw. Most of these items were minor and did not interfere w/having an awesome time!!

This place was beautiful. Jia had great communication up until our first night there we had an incident with the casita. The door lock was malfunctioning and my father couldn’t get into the room to get his medication. I messaged Jia several times and also called her several times and left vm. Finally a gentleman by the name of David called me back and informed me he was the owner. I explained everything and tried what he suggested. Nothing worked. The had to call their maintenance guy and he had to remove the lock completely. Hours later my father was able to get in with tape covering the lock hole. The cleanliness of the house, over all needs some much needed work. There was hair in the bathrooms on the floor, under the beds were toys, a thick layer of dust, tissue and hair clips from other people. The dishes had to be rinsed and washed before we used them. If I could recommend a better cleaning service to be used, accurate info to be the same with online post and email that is sent out before the arrival date. This was my first time renting anything like this so I was already feeling nervous.

The home was comfortable for our party of 12. All was well until the kitchen refrigerator broke down! Jia (homeowner) had informed me before check-in that there were complaints of the fridge not keeping food cold. She advised we should also use the fridge (not full size) in the garage to split up food to help with the problem. We did so immediately upon arrival. However, two days into our 4 night stay, we noticed the freezer of the main/kitchen fridge defrosted. However, the fridge stayed cold enough. On the 3rd day, the fridge was completely warm in the morning. Many perishable items had to be thrown out. Jia was very responsive and had sent appliance repairmen who determined it could not be fixed at that time. We tried to salvage what we had by using the garage and casita (mini fridge) but unfortunately we could not fit all items, especially large/bulky food in them. Food was wasted. Jia offered to let us stay an extra night free of charge. I informed her we could not stay longer especially without a working main fridge. I asked for one night to be compensated in exchange for the loss of food and inconvenience. Jia did not respond to my message. She had previously responded very quickly until then. Still no response 3 days after checking out. Disappointed that Jia had no further contact after we requested compensation especially since she was already aware of complaints regarding the fridge before our stay.

Greta place for a boys weekend! Pool was outstanding!

We decided to book this little getaway for my sons 13th Birthday with family and boy was it a fabulous decision. The house was perfect! The hosts were amazing and responded efficiently. Not enough words can explain how wonderful our trip turned out. Loved loved loved this property. We will be back soon! Thank you!

Terrific house with plenty of amenities for a group golf trip!

We loved the house and enjoyed it very much! Would definitely rent again!

Multigenerational family trip to attend the horse show at Thermal. Well stocked kitchen. Very Clean and spacious. Close to show. The only downside was noisy neighbors and the buzz of mechanical equipment. (ac ) in close proximity to master bedroom and casita. Other than that we very much appreciated our time and interactions with our host.
