The house was very nice and we loved the water out back! We had just a couple bumps but overall everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our stay. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and would promptly answer any question I had

We enjoyed our family trip. The house had plenty of space for everyone. The host was very good with communication, during a storm we lost the Internet and they were very quick to call the Internet provider and get someone out to the house to fix the Internet. I would definitely stay again at this house.

Our two families met up at this great home. Centrally located, plenty of space, extra fridge and freezer in the garage made for a convenient and clean place for us to cook and visit

Perfect in every way! Lots of things to do, lots of river tools, floats, etc. lots of seating for everyone inside and out. Kitchen stocked with utensils, serving, appliances and cooking containers.
Thanks for a great place for memories. Definitely would return.

This was a great place for our generational get away. Grand parents, adult children, and three grandkids, 3, 4, and 7. Tripp was very attentive to our questions and problems. Plumbing solved promptly, and he brought a fan when a room fan didn’t work. Every tool you might possibly need is in the kitchen. Nice pantry space. One thing to note, there are quite a few stairs to the main floor, to get in and out of the house. The house has lots of spaces to spread out as a family. River, decks, ground level patio/rec room, spacious kitchen area. Everyone’s beds were comfortable. The river level went up and down daily, but we found it great for the kids to wade in, float down, and for the adults to fish. Fishing was good too, wide mouth bass and catfish were caught. Lots of outdoor toys, and we left some also. Many different kinds of birds were seen, along with squirrels and deer. Loved the longhorns down the road. We enjoyed this place immensely.

Beautiful amazing home our stay was great, it accommodated a large group of people we had an amazing time with family and friends. River was perfect for fishing kayaking and swimming we had an amazing outdoor cookouts in back porch balcony. Thank you to the owners they were very quick to respond to our questions, we had an amazing time. Totally recommend to stay here .

The house’s amenities were beyond what we were expecting. They practically give their home to you. Location was great as well. Even though the damn was getting repaired, water was still flowing, which was definitely a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is huge and it was well stocked. The 12 of us (8 adults and 4 children, aged 6 and under) had plenty of room. We had a great time playing in the river. For small children, it was nice that there was a gate on the deck and also one down by the dock. Great for families!

House had everything we needed and forgot to pack. Nice and comfortable. Not a whole lot water but overall house was great to stay in with the family. Would recommend.

Great family trip, great home, river access to hang and kayak, fire pit and games to play out side an inside. Comfortable beds and sheets were so soft! We loved this house and would defiantly book again :)

The only reason I put only 4 stars on cleanliness was because every chair, rail, rack, etc. outdoors was covered in cobwebs. But I still highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful time.

House was very nice. There were 13 in our family and we had lots of room and amenities. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking my coffee in the mornings. Very quite and peaceful. Owners did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The Owner was the person that saved the day. He was super responsive and corrected ever issue quickly and correctly. The comfort and space of the inside of the rental was excellent and in general was well cared for. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was due to operational issues related to outdoor games and grilling. Other corrections I would make is cutting back on trees from the deck so that insects and caterpillars do not fall on people and chairs on the deck.

If you are looking for a place to stay, I totally recommend booking this property. The home and property is beautiful and spacious for a small family gathering with plenty of activities for all ages. Home is fully stocked with everything that you may need during your stay and owner is very quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. The lake is a little low as described but worked out perfectly as it was low enough for our 5 and 6 year olds to swim. However the water does get deeper (about 5ft) as you a swim up the lake. Overall the family had such a great time that we did not want to leave, we will definitely be back soon!

Three moms bravely took a group of graduated seniors to spend some time on the lake and river in New Braunfels. We enjoyed the property and amenities and were about 20 minutes from Schlitterbahn, Texas Tubes, Gruene, and other favorite NB spots.

Home was perfect for our large group (8 adults, 2 teens and 1 toddler) to enjoy an extended family weekend trip! Plenty of room for the family to spread out, reconnect and enjoy board games. Location was great for relaxing coffee overlooking the water while viewing deer and other wildlife. We were also able to quickly get to tubing spots and Schlitterbahn water park. Owner was easy to communicate with and home was well stocked with all essentials (toiletries, towels, spices, etc). Highly recommend this property!

The hosts answered all our inquiries and we had plenty of room for the ten of us. It was clean and decorated so nice and there was plenty for us to do - young and old. Keep in mind there are stairs front and back for us older folks, but we felt sooo at home there! We would highly recommend it to others and would go back again! Had so much fun!

We took our church staff here for our annual summer retreat. There were 10 of us total. We had a GREAT time! The house was clean and extremely comfortable for all of us. The kitchen is a nice size and fully stocked with anything you need to cook and serve with. It is beautifully decorated and has 4 different spaces for a crowd to hang out: living room, top deck by kitchen with grill, downstairs outdoor patio, and the dock. I would recommend you stay here! The owner is very kind and responds very quickly to any needs you have. We will definately come back here again!

Perfect River House
A group of my buddies and I have an annual golf trip to McQueeny every year and this house was the perfect option for all six of us to stay and relax in the river between rounds of golf.
Clean and exactly as pictured. We will definitely keep this house an a future option when we come to the area!

AMAZING HOUSE!!
I would 10 out of 10 recommend this property to anyone! We had a large group ranging from 3 to 80, and this house was perfect! When we arrived, the place was so clean and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen had everything you could ever need, the living room was spacious for hanging out, and the deck was perfect! The downstairs area outside was so nice to have.
The water was pretty low, but it actually worked out in our favor because of the kids.
Tripp was always quick to respond and so polite.
To anyone seeing this and thinking about staying here..DO IT! You will not be disappointed☺️

Great House to Accommodate a Large Group
This was a great house to accommodate our large family. We enjoyed the back porch and deck, we cooked in the kitchen every night and found everything we needed. The ping pong table was great for the teens in our group and we all enjoyed time in the lake. We went into Gruene for a concert and shopping and it was about 20 minutes away, Same to get to tubing. Very comfortable and gracious house, everything was easy.

Loved this house
My family and I , a group of 8 , stayed , and had more than enough room . We loved our stay hated to leave . The house is beautiful and clean. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals . We will definitely be going back here in the future.

Beautiful house!
Definitely would recommend. Beautiful house! Loved being on the river and kayaking! The kitchen was stocked! Wish the air hockey table was in better condition as it was one reason we picked the house. Close to places for tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers.

The stay was generally good, but there were a few bothersome events.
The property was as advertised. However during our stay the owners contacted us about a bug man coming to spray which seemed unprofessional when they had to have scheduled it many days before our stay. When you pay over $1000/night you don't expect to be interrupted with having to deal with the bug man. Also they accused us of having destroyed a mat in the water that had obviously been there for some time because it already had holes in it.

MECHS GRADUATION PARTY
Beautiful location for my sons Graduation party! The kids loved the kayaks and cornhole, ping pong and air hockey. I loved the fully furnished kitchen with crockpots, keurig coffee maker and regular coffee pot too. The views from the top deck off the kitchen and the deck on the boat ramp were awesome. Very spacious yard and the neighbors were very friendly, even with our rowdy bunch. Would recommend for your getaway!! Tripp was so responsive and accommodating as well!!

A lovely place!
Loved our stay! The house was laid out perfectly for our family. Beautiful decor and honestly even better than the pics! Location on the river was perfect. We loved the patio! Only issue was no soap, shampoo/conditioner. We have grown accustomed to having those at houses and had to head in to town for them. Not a big deal, but just know you will need to pack your own. Overall a wonderful house!

Great for big families
The only negative was the stairs to access the house. My elderly grandmother had a time getting up! We helped her up and she did well. Just merging to think about.

Peaceful Relaxation Time
My sisters and I truly enjoyed this beautiful home located on the lake. It was plenty of things to do, rather we sat out on the dock, played games, listened to music or watched movies. We needed this time to gather together as a family to enjoy one another. We will rent this home again upon our return to New Braunfels. Tripp and Kerri are fantastic people!

Amazing Stay
The house was exactly like it looked in the pictures and more. There was so much to do for entertainment for all of our ages from 66 to 4 years old. The house was very clean and the property owners were very quick to answer any questions I had. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time! Great house and beautiful scenery. This was one of my most favorite places we've ever stayed.
