Rosalba who was our host and the owner of the house is the cutest woman ever. She is really caring and made sure our stay was comfortable. We appreciated the big room with a king size bed and a comfortable mattress, the cleanliness of the place, how cozy the whole house looks, and how central (yet away from main busy street) it was. I would totally recommend staying there.

Nothing to complain about, just note that they don’t automatically do the cleaning every day, so if you want it, ask for it.

Amazing experience at Xiknal. This new hotel is owned by a lovely couple who are really friendly and helpful. We were able to check in way before check in time. The rooms were brand new, super clean and spacious. Also the location is perfect, within walking distance of the ferry (even with bags) and close to many diving schools. I would recommend this place for 100%

The hotel is location in a super convenient position! Right in the city center but still in a quiet road. The room was nice and comfy! The best thing was for sure quality/price ratio! Good price for the kind of accomodation.

The check-in was a bit bad. The doors of the building were shut and the lights off. We called and banged on the doors for 10 minutes and went along the road asking to other people if the hotel was closed. Then 2 guests that had already the keys came and opened the doors for us. At that point we were welcomed by the girl who stays there and manages the place. I would always keep a little light on so people that come in the late afternoon don't think that the hotel is a ghost house and I would also place a bell so guests can ring it when they get to the doors. The room smell terribly of mold because it was on the ground floor. Hot water doesn't always come when you need it...you might have to wait for 5 - 10 minutes with the tap open for it to come. The downstairs kitchen (the only one you can cook at) is terrible. It was filthy and disgusting. Please see pictures attached. You guys really need to work on that.

large, clean rooms; we loved the patio! super convenient location just south of the main square. wonderful restaurants and spa nearby. shared kitchen with toaster oven and fridge for use was helpful

no storage (no shelf or closets), had issue with not having water (for shower and toilet) at some point, wifi was poor

We had an amazing stay at Xiknal. The small boutique hotel is extremely well maintained and each room has beautiful interior design. Everything is new and super clean. We would always come back and stay here. The owner is extremely nice and helped us to rent a car and find a nice New Years party. Muchísimas gracias por su excelente atención.

The rooms were simple, but lovely; the garden and pool was very sweet and the hosts were very gracious.

We had little or no hot water ever. This was pretty frustrating.
