Loved everything-great place to stay! Hope to return

This is our second time staying at this property. It’s an absolutely wonderful location, and the house itself is so accommodating, comfy, and clean. A quick and easy walk to the beach, coffee at Sundays or a cocktail on the pier at the Oceanic. You feel like a local! Bringing our family, we really enjoy the private alley out back where we can play corn hole and the kids rode scooters while we grilled. Harold is so nice and very easy to communicate with. This may become an annual tradition!

We had a girls weekend at this lovely house and it was perfect! Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, parking for multiple cars, a quick walk to the beach, and coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house was so cute and we enjoyed every minute, which was a lot because the weather didn’t cooperate with our weekend plans. Would love to come back soon!

Very clean with a great location.

Location was spot on. The house is newly renovated and beautiful. Super clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything and anything you would need. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Modern. Quiet. Convenient to the beach with plenty of beach supplies.

The property is well-appointed for a large family gathering; great kitchen tools, lots of place servings, etc. The furniture was comfortable and all enjoyed the time. The beach is close, so traffic through the area is constant, but a fair tradeoff for access to a fine beach experience. The extra parking in the rear of the property is a plus for groups like ours that traveled separately to NC.

Well equipped home with very comfortable living space. Perfect for a family who wants to spend the week on the beach and in the water or just relaxing on the porch.

Wow! This home is amazing! My family was able to comfortably relax in a clean home. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and gorgeous en suites. Our host was attentive and available if needed. The south end of WB is a great place to be. We will definitely return for another holiday!

Great stay for celebrating a graduation with family

This home is beautiful. Great location. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Excellent communication with owner. We would certainly come back to Wrightsville Beach and this home. We did use the ground level room with a Murphy bed, as a bedroom. It does not have a bedroom door that can close - not an issue for our group, but worth mentioning. Fantastic stay with our adult children. Thanks, Harold!!

We all gathered at the beach following NCSU graduation. Six adults---beautiful home (this was our second stay at this house). The accommodations were excellent---could want for NOTHING! SO close to the beach and the weather was terrific! We will always try to book this property whenever we plan a stay at Wrightsville beach. This house accommodates 10 adults perfectly! (we were 6)

Great spot, great location! Plenty of parking which is an asset at WB. A few dishwasher pods under the sink and small soap for showers would've been helpful. Overall a nice stay though.

Comfortable, and extremely equipped house with lovely ocean decor. This house is a Gold Star Location, and well equipped with everything you'll need for a fun seaside vacation. It is tastefully decorated and the owner is very responsive to all communication. We highly recommend and look forward to returning again in the future.

This was our second stay, and it was every bit as enjoyable as our first visit. The house is well-equipped and cared for. Great location. A perfect refuge for a small family retreat.

This home was a perfect home base for our tennis group getaway. The house was impeccably appointed, and the location was superb. We had fantastic weather and were able to enjoy time on the porches.

Absolutely beautiful home! Fully renovated and perfect amount of space! There were some bugs, but that can be expected of a beach house. The back garage door was broken so we were sure to lock the door to the house for safety but that was out of Harold’s control. The only thing differing from the listing is that the golf cart listed was not usable. There was a little confusion with check-in as Harold wanted to meet us in person and have us sign a written renter’s agreement however our arrival was unexpectedly delayed due to traffic as we were driving from DC and NY. The only thing we may suggest is doing a virtual agreement on VRBO and just sending the code to the house so we didn’t need to rush and coordinate our arrival with him, but he was a very kind and helpful host. Overall, great stay!

This house is exceptionally lovely and so convenient to ocean access and restaurants/cafes. The house was very clean and had every thing we needed to enjoy a great time at the beach. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching people walk and bike by. The beach was pristine and the water was crystal clear. Would highly recommend staying here when visiting the south end of Wrightsville Beach!

Updated and comfortable in a perfect location!

We had a great week.

This was my 3rd time visiting Wrightsville and 2nd experience renting a house. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed both the house and location to beach and our favorite coffee shop Sundays. We had a slight issue with ants but spray and traps provided at house helped control the problem. We also don’t mind things like that as we expect to have ‘company’ sometimes at beach houses. We found Harold to be responsive and accommodating and appreciated his hospitality. We love this town and recommend a visit!

Beautiful home to host our yearly WB vacation. The house has been gorgeously renovated and is simply perfect for a great beach vacation. Conveniently located, with ample parking, and with the right accommodations to host a group of 10, this has been our favorite getaway in WB in years. We are looking forward to come back again soon!

Perfect location near public beach access and great coffee / surf shop. Beautifully renovated home.

Our family had a truly wonderful week in Wrightsville :) We loved staying at Harolds home; perfect location with ocean views, it was clean, had plenty of room, great porches for everyone, gorgeous bathrooms, well decorated, and a beautiful kitchen for preparing our meals! We made memories that will last a lifetime! We are missing the sun and sand already!!

Great location and nicely renovated property. All the essentials for a fun beach week. Would highly recommend this property.

The house is beautiful and the located in amazing! You are within walking distance to the beach and the oceanic restaurant. There were 4 bikes in the garage as well as beach Chairs available for use. I rented this house for my sisters wedding weekend, and she had the house across the street rented. We had to get extra trash bags, and dishwasher pods from there because only 1 trash bag and 2 dish pods were provided. So if you do decide to rent here, bring your own trash bags. However i would never stay in this property again because it would involve having to deal with the owner. After we checked out, I get a phone call from the owner accusing us of stealing 2 rocking chairs from the front porch. I immediately texted him that I was out to lunch with my family, and would call him back as soon as I could. After lunch I called him back, and he was so disrespectful. He never looked at the text message I sent, and immediately started questioning me on what happened to the rocking Chairs. My sister still had the house across the street rented, and as we were coming back from lunch and as we were pulling in I notice 2 rocking chairs on the side balcony off one of the bedrooms upstairs. I asked him if he looked on the side balconies and he said no. 1- In my opinion, before I accused a guest of stealing rocking chairs I would have checked all the porches and balconies in the house. 2- Once the rocking chairs had been “found” on the property, I would apologize for accusing the guest of stealing the rocking chairs. However that is not what happened. He proceeded to talk down to me. He was so loud and rude that everyone in the car could hear him, and was asking me what was going on. There was no mention from him or in the house rules that we shouldn’t move the rocking chairs, and all the balconies didn’t have seating on them, which I why I wasn’t sure why he was so irate or rude. So again beautiful house but not worth having to deal with the owner.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful property. The home is even more lovely than pictured. It was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect. Bikes and cornhole were such a nice bonus. The outdoor seating on the 2 porches was also a huge hit with our family. Harold was so kind and welcoming. This is definitely one of our most favorite VRBO stays and would love the opportunity to return.

This is truly one of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at. The house is in perfect condition and fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials you need. Harold does a wonderful job checking you in and making you feel comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
