This house was perfect for our stay, plenty of room, the beds and linens were perfect and it’s a great location. My favorite part of this house was how CLEAN it was when we arrived, I did not have to clean ANYTHING prior to starting my vacation with my family. ❤️

This house has everything you need to enjoy your stay!! It’s a beautiful house, the beds are comfortable, the kids enjoyed their room, and the owner was easily accessible if we needed her! You won’t regret staying here for your vacation!

The Koi house is very well kept and is perfect if you are bringing your pet and/or children. Yard space for pets is plenty - we have a 65lb dog and were able to play in the yard. The bedrooms worked well for our teenagers. The neighborhood is very quiet and neighbors out for walks were friendly. The house is very close to the main sidewalk path which heads straight down to the boardwalk/beach. It is also a very quick drive to the grocery store. If you prefer to cook your meals as we did, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, containers, silverware, and many other supplies you would find at your home - that was a nice suprise.

This place is a really nice place to stay. It's not far at all away from the beach. This home gives you a welcome home feeling as soon as you walk in the front door. The backyard is totally fenced in which is great for pets. Our beds were very comfortable and the couch was the same way. Most of the deck at different times of the day is shaded which is also great. I will definitely rent this place again and recommend it to anyone else who is going to Carolina Beach or Wilmington. The house isn't far from Wilmington and downtown around the waterfront you can see the USS North Carolina from there which is beautiful. I rented a golf cart for the week which was great to get around in. The only problem I had with the golf cart was there wasn't many parking spaces for rentals most of the ones I saw had license plates.

My family and i loved staying at this property for a week. Dog friendly and accommodated all of our needs. Will be going back next year! The house felf like home away from home!

This place is very welcoming as soon as you walk in the front door it screams welcome home. It's in a very quiet neighborhood which is great if you want to escape the daily Hussle and bussle. The neighbors are very nice and friendly there kids are very respectful they love shooting hoops in there driveway I think it's great. I would definitely book this place again in the future.

House in great shape. Large nice deck and fenced in back yard. If you are a walker you can walk to the beach at the boardwalk.

This was a amazing home. We said with friends for a wedding and the home was amazing. Could most definitely see us coming back to stay for a family vacation! The walk to the beach was a good distance, the homes layout was spectacular and the porch was amazing. Thank you!

The house was exceptionally clean, and the yard was very pet friendly. Beautiful house and convenient to shopping & eating.

Everything was as advertised. One of the few rental properties in which EVERYTHING WORKS! Pleasant and comfortable. About 0.75 miles to the beach, so rent a golf car.

We had an absolutely amazing stay!

It would have been ok except for the communication with the company that handles the rentals.They where not on top of my questions about some of this properties beach equipment. We realize where this property was located and the fact that there are a lot of bugs in North Carolina,but they could spray this property for cockroaches which I find deplorable. On the counters at night and in the cupboards. I had a problem with the Wi-Fi connection and the tv, the woman who came over immediately did her best with the spectrum service and helped me connect to the Wi-Fi service since there are two different accounts to this address. My husband loves his tv at night and made the best of it.this house could use a good cleaning it’s staged well though.

Beautiful home and walking distance to the beach and boardwalk!

We spent five days in this house for a family get-together. We loved the house. Everything was so nice and comfortable. The deck and yard were an additional plus, and we spent relaxing mornings on the deck. The neighborhood is very nice, and the house is very close to the Cape Fear Blvd, which is the direct path to the beach. During our stay in August, it was too hot to walk to the beach, so we mostly drove. We highly recommend the house, the neighborhood, and the overall area for a very enjoyable vacation at the beach.

This place was very clean, is in a great location to the boardwalk, beach, and restaurants, is pet friendly, and has a great yard with a nice front porch. The only thing is the listing said 6 bedrooms and 4 baths, well there was half that, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was good my girls trip ended up being a smaller group than we had hoped.

We were hesitant due to two small kids being out from the beach but the Koi house was worth it to us due to all the amenities. Clean, a lot of basic items and more there. We will definitely stay again when in the area!

The property is very well maintained and the pictures accurate. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the relatively short walk to the beach and restaurants. The surrounding neighborhood is clean quiet and feels safe. Really enjoyed our stay and would choose this one again.

Was everything we wanted and needed

The Koi House is a beautiful pet friendly home located in Carolina Beach. The home is literally located within blocks to all the restaurants, bars, beach, and entertainment. More importantly, the owner thought about every little detail to make your stay more enjoyable. The home was exceptionally clean and well decorated with that beach vibe. The fenced in back yard was a huge plus for our pets! Thank you Gail & Co and VRBO for a great family Spring Break!

The house was exactly as pictured and spotless. The beds were better than any home I've stayed in for a long time and the bedding was high quality. The yard was large and fenced, which was perfect for my dogs to safely play in. The location is just off the busy section of town and the quiet was appreciated.

The house was incredibly charming and cozy, and the backyard was perfect for our fur babies. We had a very relaxing time…just what we were looking for.

We as a family really enjoyed our stay!!!

I would love to own this home ~ it was perfect for our beach get away. I do have 2 suggestions 1. Provide a golf cart to ease getting to the beach 2. Hot tub on the patio would be absolutely perfect! We hope to return to the Koi house in future!

This house provided perfect accommodations for my husband, daughter, mother and I, and our 2 dogs for a 3 night stay! Plenty of sitting areas outside, beautifully decorated interior, well appointed kitchen, and wonderfully comfortable bedding and mattresses! The house is just a short walk to all the downtown shops and restaurants, and the surrounding neighborhood was safe and quiet. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future! Was a great time in a cozy and quality place.

Only complaints involve the BBQ being uncleaned. The oven also needed to be cleaned. There was also a lot of dog hair under the furniture which we cleaned because our grandkids are toddlers. All in all a good place though.
