My spouse and I were in Sandpoint for the first time. We spent four four perfect nights at this wonderful property. Though I’m not what you’d call an avid traveler, I’ve stayed at a number of short term rentals over the years. This was far and away the most enjoyable stay I’ve ever experienced. I’d like to give it six stars. This one goes to six!

Our stay was great. Everything we needed was there. The cottage is not large but felt big. The loft and patio are great places to hang out in addition to the living room. Summer in Sandpoint is hard to beat!!!

Looking forward to staying again! Due to a hiking accident trip was not as long as planned. Our host went out of her way to help us through a very difficult time. Sincerely looking forward to our next visit, the location and accommodation was perfect for some much needed R&R.

This sweet little cottage is a gem! It it really well cared for and clean. The beds are comfortable, the appliances/cookware are high quality. It was easy to access and we had a lot of privacy. This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. We are from Sandpoint and our family is still there and can confidently say it is excellent quality for the price. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was wonderful. I am so glad we selected this "in town" location rather than more scenic locations in the countryside. The rental was clean, modern, and very comfortable and located in a quiet well kept neighborhood. It was the perfect launch/landing spot for our day excursions in the Idaho panhandle (a cruise on Lake Pend Oreille and a driving loop to Myrtle Falls & the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge at Bonners Ferry and then on to Kootenai Falls & Suspension Bridge in Montana, then to Ross Ancient Cedars State Park, also in MT. The Saint Claire Cottage (a.k.a. Moose Lodge) is conveniently located in Sandpoint for either a short three-minute drive or a 15 minute walk to the tourist area downtown. The hostess, Jo Ann, was excellent and timely with her all of her communications. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

This property is impressively clean, exceptionally well-appointed and a great location. A short 8 minute walk to downtown Sandpoint, and an easy drive to Schweitzer, makes this a great get-away. There is a loft for small children, but we found it absolutely perfect for two people. We'll be back!!

Excellent accommodations in Sandpoint. Host was easily accessible. Great location to walk to town. Nice fireplace to warm our ski gear by. Definitely recommend.

This is a perfect small cottage in a residential neighborhood for those wanting a quiet relaxed getaway. Very clean with private outdoor space, and walking distance to downtown Sandpoint. If you plan on preparing your own meals, take stock of the kitchen first as it's very minimally stocked (not a complaint, just a heads up). Communication with the host was a breeze, and we would happily stay here again!

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for cooking and preparing food to eat. A fun loft for the kids to chill in and a very comfortable master bed. We enjoyed the beach toys and chairs provided and it was so close to downtown Sandpoint for the beach and restaurants/shopping. Jo Ann was super responsive-would recommend!

Easy drive to Schweitzer to ski during the day, and close proximity to downtown Sandpoint for breweries and dining in the evening. Comfortable accommodations with everything needed for a weekend getaway. Look forward to returning soon!

We had a great time staying at ‘moose lodge’ the perfect base for me and a pal in Sandpoint this winter given the short drive up to Schweitzer! Jo Ann is a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we need for a comfy stay! Highly recommend.

This cute cottage is just as described. We enjoyed the location as it was close the downtown and the Lake. Quiet neighborhood. The cottage is behind a main house with alley access for parking. There is a fence between the two houses that provide privacy. There is a cute little outdoor patio with BBQ. The kitchen is well stocked. Our kids enjoyed hanging out in the loft. It is cozy and comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay.

My mom, my aunt, 4 year old daughter and I all stayed here. It was a wonderful place!! The host was a amazing and we would 100% stay here again. The unit had everything you would need.

My husband and I had a lovely little vacation staying in sandpoint, idaho! The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us! And so close to downtown we practically walked to everything!

The cottage was in a great location convenient to downtown, parks, the main road in and out of town, and was the cutest neighborhood. Everything was sparkling clean and well kept. The thoughtfulness of supplies was greatly appreciated. We travelled in a small car as a family of four so not having to bring our own beach towels, chairs, shade tent, and toys was a huge help! Communication was easy and helpful as well. Overall A++ would stay again in a heartbeat!!
