We rented this home for Christmas week 23. It’s 48 minutes to Gadsden AL, and 49 to Cedartown GA. My blind mother and blind aunt came to stay with us, only issue we had was the 3 of 4 sets of stairs were incredibly dangerous, unusable, for handicapped and kids. Otherwise best VBRO we have stayed at to date, we travel a lot, so we pack everything, this home needed nothing!! Well stocked, great fishing, comfortable. My mother talks incessantly, it makes me nervous, so I decided to clean the trim and door frames, I was astonished how nothing was really dirty, no dust, dawn and elbow grease, and cloth was never dirty. There was a plumbing issue, no one’s fault, and the homeowners were on it immediately. No WiFi, and no service, so memorize the roads, it pretty far to civilization, with spotty cell service. We don’t usually visit the same area more than once, but if we did, we would definitely stay here again, very open, plenty of space, plenty of parking, bring DVDs, direct TV is in the house, but it’s all commercials. We all had different carriers, no one could send pics, text, stream, anything, I recommend definitely binging DVDs.

Gracious and very helpful hosts!!! Beautifully decorated, kitchen has all that you need to cook every meal. Quiet and peaceful place to rest and renew. DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon are close by. A great place for a family. It was very clean as well!!!!

This lake house was very clean and well stocked with more than enough of everything we needed. The view of the lake is beautiful. The water pressure is great and water heats up quickly. People in this area are very friendly!

Great House perfect for family and fun. The dock was easy to access and the water was perfect. The kitchen was nice for cooking and the grill was great for steaks and burgers. Looking forward to coming back soon!!!

This was our first experience with a VRBO property stay. We were not disappointed. The owners were extremely helpful and always quick to respond when I asked a question!! This home was extremely clean which a big deal to me and my family. It was one of the best vacations we have ever been on. Already planning on a return trip next year!!!

This is a great spot on the lake. House was clean. Back porch was perfect for watching the sunrise and enjoying the view of the lake in the evening.

C!ean property, well-stocked, quiet neighborhood! Wasn't too bad walking to or from the dock, which was for us 70 year olds. Only bad thing was the fish didn't want to bite. Will return in the future.

The neighbors were great and actually helped us out of a truck situation we were having. We loved it enough to go get a storage unit and leave our boat there so we could come back in a few weeks! Second time we have stayed here and it was great! I have family just 2 miles away and they did not have room to put us all up so we stayed here. Absolutely love it! Clean, well, stocked, great location. Anyone needing a lake weekend get away this is perfect.

Spent 4 days here and the area was nice and quiet. Very relaxing and just a short drive to Rome GA. Would definitely recommend.

This was everything we could have asked for! We stayed 6 weeks and absolutely loved every minute. Tracy is incredible to work with and was eager to make our stay enjoyable. The house, dock and boat ramp was exactly everything we needed. We highly recommend this lake house!!

What a great place to relax. Lots of nature to watch plus a nice ramp for Kayaks! This place must be beautiful in the fall which we hope to return to see. This place has everything you need. Lots of supplies. Lots of DVD's but bring your DVD player! Thanks for a wonderful week!

Great property and stay! Very relaxing and we would stay again. Wish there was wifi but our hotspots worked fine!!!

Nice clean home. well furnished. Great lake access and nice dock. Furnace didn't work, and we weren't informed of this until we were already in route. They had a gas fire place insert, so we didn't freeze. Shower door broke. Cheap door. Looks good in the pictures. Hot water only lasted long enough for one shower. Fishing and weather were terrible, but that is not the fault of the owner. I probably won't go back to Weiss Lake. Tough lake to navigate and fishing was not as good as it's reputation.

We had no problem finding the location and unloaded our luggage and supplies, then we put the boat in the water from the launch which was located on the property. It had most all of the conveniences that we needed. There were a few things that needed attention but no major issues. The property was beautiful and the neighbor hood was very quiet and the neighbors we very nice.

Very nice place. I would recommend if you like fishing.

I have rented many homes on many Lakes by far the best house ever. Easy access to the lake. Plenty of space. Property Manager responded immediately to my questions. Will be back

Great spot to relax, beds were super comfortable. Just wish the fishing was a little better the week we were there. Highly recommend this property.
