What a gem my wife and i found. Perfect for our week away.. Really felt like a home not just a place to sleep. Loved it all, including the back deck. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The check in was as provided by the owner. I start and end each stay with taking pictures using my phone so I leave the property as we found it. I have used VRBO’s for over 10 years and never had any issues and have actually used a property more than once. Have had a great relationship with property owners and/or their representatives. This property was different. We were impressed with the overall amenities and condition of the property when we first arrived. But as the week progressed, we found a baking dish in the cabinet that had food residue and had to be washed before using and a pillowcase with a permanent dark stain.
After we left, we were contacted by the owner who informed us the shower was broken and sheets were stained as reported by her cleaning service. She charged us just over $100 for “damages”. She said she would provide pictures, but never received any even after a request. The shower worked perfectly all week for both of us even on the morning we left. We used only the main bed during our stay and only noticed the previous mentioned stain. We did not use the bed in the second bedroom and she did not mention which set of bedding had the stain. There is a strong possibility there is an issue with her cleaning service.
I have never not fully recommended a VRBO that we have used, but in this case I feel you would be better off to find other accommodations nearby.

Terrific communication. Lovely home. All the things you need are provided. Loved sitting outside and watching the birds, rabbits and lizards. My family were equally as comfortable. Highly recommend

This was our second year at the Sunny Baja Retreat. It is the perfect size for the two of us with the extra bedroom and bath for occasional company. It is nice and clean, comfortable and well supplied. We picked up groceries and were ready to cook or grill and enjoy the sunset from the back patio. The neighborhood is beautiful with lots of friendly people. The grapefruit and lemon trees in the yard were a bonus. Kay and Dave take good care of their home and were very responsive if needed. We will definitely stay here again.

We visited the area to do some hiking and this home wasa wonderful refuge at the end of the day. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen is well appointed. Beautiful, private back yard. It was entertaining to watch the bunnies!

Very clean and spacious house. We were in Sun City for a family reunion & this house was perfect. Layout is perfect with rooms on separate sides of the house with very comfy living room. Backyard & patio is very relaxing. Cute hummingbirds visiting the flowers. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent property and would be great for a long term snowbird rental. Everything is clean and updated with comfortable furniture for watching TV or sitting on the veranda. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, although we did not cook ourselves. Appliances are updated and clean. Host, Kay, goes out of her way to make sure you have all the information you need for the house and is available for questions. Our most used feature of the house was the coffee bar. It was great for our short term stay and a very nice touch on the part of the owner. If the need arose I would stay here again.

Perfect house, perfect location!
The house was very clean with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, lovely patio, and we especially enjoyed the coffee bar. The location of the house was in a quiet neighborhood yet restaurants, golf courses, grocery stores and other amenities were 5-10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

The not so good: no cable or satellite tv, must log in with apps if you have them; sun orientation (had to close all window coverings all afternoon and evening)
The bad: all bedding was microfiber polyester. Bought new cotton bedding at Target

Our month in the sun
We enjoyed our month at the Sunny Baja Retreat. The communication with Kay was excellent. On check-in, she had all the information we needed for an enjoyable stay. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The citrus trees in the yard were a nice surprise. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is great for walking and is not far from all the fun activities in Sun City West. We'll be staying here again.

The property was clean and welcoming when we arrived and matched the online description. The owners had left all the instructions we needed for using the TV, internet, garbage and recycle services, etc.. The furnishings in the house and patio were in very good shape and the bed was very comfortable. The dinner dishes, pots and pans and silverware were all excellent. The "coffee bar" was stocked with coffee pods for the coffee maker and there was also a coffee brewer that we used when we had guests. Overall we were very pleased with this rental experience.

Tennis Weekend in Surprise
4 adults shared this house for a tennis weekend in Surprise. The house was perfect for 2 couples. The twin beds were put together to make a king bed. Both beds were comfortable. The house was extremely clean and there was coffee Kcups for our use. Thank you for sharing your property!!

Great home for my dad
My dad was in AZ needing a place to stay during a difficult time after losing his brother who lived near the home. The house was a great respite for he and his friend who were handling the affairs. Kay was a great host, responding quickly and going out of her way to be sure my dad’s favorite channels were dialed in to the streaming cable for his month long stay. It was just what he needed for this trip. Thank you, Kay!

We moved to Surprise and we were fortunate enough to stay at this awesome home for almost a month. We needed a place to call home as we waited for our move in date at our new home. This home was such an amazing blessing to us. It had every single thing you need to be so comfortable. The house is in a great location and it is so quiet in the neighborhood. Even has a lemon tree in the back yard. You can sit outside in the morning with your coffee and the evening while you grill and relax as you see quail and rabbit running around. The owner is so incredibly responsive to any question or need you may have. We needed to extend out stay 2 separate times while we were there and we were graciously accommodated each time. We are so thankful to have found this home. Do not hesitate to rent this home. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our first weeks in Arizona so special and confortable.

Excellent experience. From pre booking communication, throughout the entire stay. We have done many VRBO’s and this one was the best. Property was clean, comfortable, well supplied, just fantastic. The owner is a delight and very prompt. We will be back!!
