My friends and I had a wonderful stay here at Holden Beach. The beach itself is clean, peaceful and gorgeous. The house exceeded all of our expectations. There was plenty of room for everyone and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The pool and porches were thoroughly enjoyed as well. Sabrina was very communicative and helpful. Would highly recommended this house!

We feel beyond thankful to have found this property. The house was an awesome layout- perfectly fit our large extended family! It was decently kid friendly as well. It is right next to a surf shop, general store, and ice cream shop. We did not need to jump into our cars for anything! We stayed right at the end of the summer so the entire shop was 50% off. The ocean was clean, not overcrowded even with the shops next door, and we found a ton of shark teeth! Really a trip we will never forget. The pool was beautiful and such a relaxing break from the beach. Every inch of the house was used and appreciated. We likely will rent this house again!

We had a really great time, the ocean views were awesome. The pool was very clean, perfect. The house has two living rooms, two kitchens, these areas can be separate or combined. It was nice because cartoons can be on in one living room for the kids and regular TV in the other living room. Close, but there are separate spaces.

We had a great time with a large group for a summer vacation. The house was perfect for multiple families with lots of kids and adults. Right on a beautiful beach and it has a great pool as well. Highly recommend!

Great house, great location, great owners! We had two families, 5 kids total ranging in age from 3-12 and we all had the best time. The identical floor plans (two kitchens, two dining, two living rooms) was perfect for separating the two families and also the kids from the parents. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and well stocked. It’s located right next to a small general store and ice cream/surf shop. We walked over to the general store a few times for items we had forgotten at food lion…or for the kids to comb through all of the beach themed knick knacks. We were unfortunately out of season for the pool but it looked perfect and private. Beautiful flat and very wide beach!! The owners were very prompt and friendly with their responses…we had one upstairs toilet that wouldn’t flush and they had someone out there quickly to fix it. We would definitely stay here again!

Our extended family (3 generations ranging from 5 to 70 years) stayed at this place and had a great time. The location is beautiful- right on the beach. Although it was chilly in December we could walk the beach and the kids could play in the sand. The house comfortably fit all of us with ample bedrooms, beds and bathrooms. There was an issue with the water due to the extreme cold weather when we arrived, but Sabrina could not have been more helpful and took care of the problem right away. We would definitely recommend.

The house and area were just lovely. I feel that you may need to take a closer look at the cooling system for upstairs. The rooms upstairs with a ceiling fan were more comfortable. I don't know if it would be an option for the rooms with bunkbeds to have a ceiling fan. Other than that, every thing was wonderful.

Had this spot reserved for a few months was nervous about whether the space was enough. Turned out wonderful. Owners responded quickly to all my questions and concerns. Definitely would/will stay here again.

Stayed the week with my wife, 3 kids, in-laws and brother-in-law’s family. There was tons of space for all of us and having 2 separate kitchens was very nice. Sabrina was very helpful and we all had a great trip.

We had a wonderful beach trip in this beachfront home. The location was great. The layout was perfect and the pool provided hours of fun when the ocean was too rough. We would definitely stay here again!

We have been to many beaches around the country and this was our first time at Holden. The location is just fantastic. Beaches are great. Food is incredible and this house was fantastic. It has everything you need and is just perfectly located. Cannot recommend it any more. Great trip for our entire family.

We had a fabulous time and the host was very accommodating. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and it was a little cool. Still the kids had fun playing in the sand and on the outside deck. It was nice having 2 kitchens to prepare the meal. We were able to push the table and island together and seat 12 for Thanksgiving dinner.

The home was clean and worked well for our multi-family trip. Being steps to the beach was key having several children 5 & under with us. The owner provided excellent communication throughout the trip. Only complaint is the side closest the general store gets a lot of light pollution at night from the store and parking lot lights. Some additional blackout curtains would be very helpful!

The boys were able to watch their sports while the ladies and kids got to watch their shows and cartoons. The two kitchens are amazing!! Its a very nice location the beach view is everything. A few suggestions I would give though are maybe having little soap bars in the bathrooms. Painting the circle picnic table. The duplex layout worked perfectly for our group because there were 2 living room areas, 2 kitchens, multiple decks and plenty of space to spread out. Favorite parts: Location and beachfront access. Double kitchens. OUTDOOR SHOWERS located under the main deck is A+! The host was super communicative and responsive, and attentive. That in itself was reassuring and awesome! Suggestions for Improvement: Replace outside hose (it ruptured on our first day). Reattach and secure kitchen cabinet door (it was loose and fell off during our stay). Fix the button on the dryer. We found a wooden stick inserted in the start button, which was a makeshift solution to start the dryer. But it was very tricky to hit the stick at the right spot to get it going. Fortunately one of our family members had the magic touch and was able to do it when we needed; but it was a hassle to have to rely on her to do laundry. All of these items were communicated to the owner and I'm confident she will address the concerns (if not already solved)! Oh, and one other suggestion - It would have been nice to have a blender in the kitchen for frozen drinks. We ended up buying an inexpensive single glass one from Walmart for $40 and left it there for future guests. It was a wonderful stay for our entire family!

We loved the house and location. This house has everything needed to have a wonderful stay at the beach. We loved the location and the fact that it is located next to a beach store and general store. The house is very spacious and provides the opportunity to spend quality time with family but still have privacy when you want quiet time to yourself. Everything was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The property manager was very helpful with any needs we had and was very efficient when getting things done. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.
