The house is nice and big and can accommodate a large group of people. The bathrooms and hot tub are very nice. There is a lot of deck space with three different balconies, and a unique layout with many cozy touches and decor. There isn’t a large, communal eating area, but extra tables and chairs are provided if needed. The owner was quick to respond to text communication and our large party was generally comfortable and pleased with the house. It’s also a quick drive to town and the beaches:

It was a wonderful house, the Alaskan theme was on point. Short 13 minute walk away from the beach, 10 minute walk from the pub, Tie Breaker. Very clean house, and good communication from the owner. Want to come back!

This rental was amazing in many ways. It’s warm & cozy with a real beach vibe. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group. A later check out time would be helpful - the 10:00am check out time was too rushed for our group of nine. We would return for another beach visit.

Great location and really well stocked cabin! Description and photos are true to life. The hot tub was great at the end of each day. Plenty of outdoor seating options for every time of day to enjoy sunshine and coffee. Loved that it was set up to have pups. Plenty to do at the house with games, puzzles, ping pong, record player, tvs, and hot tub, but also perfect location to walk to everything. It was also secluded and quiet, listened to the birds sing each morning. Checked out St Mary’s by the Sea — very charming and welcoming parish. Enjoyed the best breakfast scones from Beach Bakeshop. Walking along the beach every night and morning was just perfect. Not crowded at all. Would love to return!

We loved this house. There was so much space, well apportioned kitchen, nice yard and fire pit, hot tub and deck. We loved that it was walking distance of town and the beach and the central location allowed for quick and easy day trips to other beaches and view spots. It is a perfect house for a group of friends and families with kids. Also bonus, it is a pet friendly property!

Great cabin for families. Ping pong was used frequently along with the hottub. Nice also to have a pet friendly place so we could bring our dog. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend.

Great retreat with something for everyone
Our extended family really enjoyed this property. The fire pit and ping pong table got a lot of use, and the hot tub was great to relax in. The dishwasher needs to be screwed into its space, and a couple of squeaky door hinges made for some night disruptions, but overall it was a major hit with the family. The beach was a small walk west which was a nice option to catch up with each other as we meandered into town.

Great beach trip
Great trip. Place was as described. Very clean and nice. We loves the wood stove and ping pong table. Plenty of beds for all to spread out!

Not worth the high price
The house was beautiful but dirty. The hot tube was disgusting, it was so dirty it was slimy. We rented this one for the hot tub so it was very disappointing. The house itself is beautiful but again not clean.

Nice home but definitely looked better and bigger in photos. I wouldn’t choose this rental again, the price is too high for what you get.

Rockaway getaway
The home was everything my family expected from the description and more. The home is very clean and comfortable. The owners took great care to ensure you have what you need. It’s beautifully decorated to compliment the locale. It’s located close enough to walk to the beach and Main Street yet far away from busy traffic. It’s relaxing. There are even deer that meandered the property. My whole family had a wonderful time. I’d highly recommend this property. Be aware there are stairs to all but the main bedroom.

Rockaway Retreat
The owners took great care to make this a special place to vacation. The home is very clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we expected from the description in the listing and more. It’s located within walking distance of town and the beach without being right near main drag. We enjoyed watching deer meandering through the neighborhood. We had a great time and highly recommend this property.
