Die Lage der Unterkunft ist unübertroffen. Man sitzt auf der Terrasse und sieht auf die Bucht und die Segelboote, die keine 20m von der Terrasse entfernt vor Anker liegen. Die Gastgeberin ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden sofort wieder hin!

The location was great, lovely view over the corner of the harbour. Not on the main prom so not as affected by noise but only a minute’s walk away. The Windward suite has a better view than the one immediately next to it. The balcony was great with a sofa and chairs - well sheltered from the sun. The property was good, spacious enough given you spend most time out of it.

The bedroom and bathroom windows opened onto some public steps and so we needed to keep the shutters closed but that was fine really. Might bother others though. The shower had no sealant around the cubicle sides or doors and so water poured out onto the floor. Although there was a drain in the floor it wasn’t flush with the tiles and so the water didn’t drain away. It meant that after a shower, the bathroom floor was swimming in water. It would be easy to fix this problem.

Lovely flat, ideal for a couple, in a fantastic location looking out over Fiskardo harbour. The covered patio area had good variety of seating and provided welcome shade as it was very hot when we were there. Entry is by a clever coded lock so no need for keys.

Best location in fiskardo for watching boats coming and going. Outside seating area large and comfortable and shaded. Car parking on street just outside to the rear. 1 minute walk to closest coffee bar at end of port. Everything in walking distance, Car not really needed while staying here. Gabrielle and staff were quick to respond to questions.

Location location location, the balcony had a fabulous outlook and the property was quiet enough but right in the village centre

Poor decor, very very small shower cubicle and basic kitchen.

A very nice apartment in a great location with restaurants, bakery & 2 supermarkets a short distance away. Large terrace overlooking the sea (not entirely private as adjacent to steps down from main car park, so sometimes a bit noisy). Very comfortable bed with rather strange sheets in pale brown mesh-type fabric.

We had difficulty finding the property as the name on it is 'Captain's Guesthouse' & there is no name plate with 'Windward' on it. We weren't given advice of where to park or be dropped off - this is essential as the waterfront is pedestrianised. The door lock is electronic & when we returned the first evening, the code no longer worked; luckily we had taken all the phone numbers with us, but it took 6 attempts before we got a reply. We were told the lock 'jams sometimes' - this was proved a couple of days later when we were locked out again. The shower cubicle is very small & the apartment wasn't cleaned or the bins emptied (including the toilet paper bin) for the 5 nights we were there.

The location was stunning. The terrace was a lovely place to be with a clear view of much of the harbour and all the boats coming and going. It was shaded in the heat of the afternoon but sunny in the morning. We spent a lot of time out there, and would like to spend some more! It was only a short car-free walk along the harbour wall to the centre of town, which is very picturesque.

There was only a microwave and two hob rings, and not a lot of plates etc. Eating out was easy, good and reasonably priced, but we would have liked to eat in occasionally. The town did get busy when the big cruise boats were in.
