We stayed here as a group of 17 for my daughters hen weekend - highly recommend - very clean and great layout. Realistically, one of the ‘doubles’ is a very small double - just to be aware. Would visit again for similar event.

This property is like nothing else. We wanted somewhere to celebrate a group of milestone birthdays this year so started our search. Once we saw the pictures of this one there was nothing else that could beat it! It blows you away in real life and Jerry from day one has been amazing with communication and little touches upon our arrival at the property that made the stay very special. Everything is thought of and nothing is a problem! The village is beautiful too and this property is very central. We had an absolute ball and is was a truly perfect weekend and this property was a key part of that! Thank you Jerry and look forward to using this or one of your other spectacular properties again!

We stayed here for a hen party and it was fantastic! The house is huge and fantastic for photos. Communication was great from the moment we booked, and when Jerry was away he put us in the touch with the housekeeping who were also very attentive. The number of bedrooms changed after we booked (for safer fire escape) and we weren't able to work the sound system, but Jerry was in touch about both so can't fault the service we received. Would definitely recommend!

I rented this property out to celebrate my mums 50th with her closest friends and family and it did not disappoint. Amazing weekend and highly recommend for large groups!

The property has been sympathetically and professionally restored, with an addition of the wow factor!! Jerry was a great host and we would recommend him as an excellent Host to any of his properties.

Booked the property for a group of us (18 people) for my friends stag do. Property has everything to keep a bigger group entertained. Also in the town centre so very close if you want to try the local pubs and restaurants. All round great experience.

First off, Jerry could not have been more helpful in the entire process of renting this property. Always quick to respond to any queries we had and provided a very helpful check-in document for all the amenities in the house. The main hall/dining area as you head up from the front entrance is genuinely breathtaking as it comes into view from the stairs. Photos don't do it justice. All the rooms were immaculate with fresh sheets and the beds were extremely comfortable throughout. Plenty of shower/toilet facilities throughout even for a large group and they were well stocked. Travel toothbrushes and paste for the friends who forgot theirs (there were many) was a nice touch. Hot tub and sauna in the basement were also great, Jerry's above mentioned document explained how to use them with ease too. As for Cockermouth itself, a truly lovely wee town with plenty to do in and around it. If you are a large party, I'd recommend booking any required taxis well in advance however - Cockermouth Cabs were very useful to us. Seth's Bar was fantastic for a wide cocktail selection, Aspava in the heart of town for dinner and The Black Bull for those parties who want to continue into the early morning hours. Overall, cannot praise the property and Jerry enough. Certainly hope to be back at some point in the future!

The Manor House was unbelievable to stay in! Jerry was in contact with me in regards to anything we needed before staying and provided us with a great experience. Would definitely go back and I am looking forward to booking other properties with Jerry in the future’
