Your will stay in the heart of small village Espellete which is nice. It's nice to stay overnight and spend few hours around local specialties shop. Parking is distanced from hotel 300-400 meters.

Rooms are relatively small, but good for overnight.

Michel the host was amazing!! Really friendly, made the visit worthwhile.

The experience

The location is perfect within each reach of the car park.

On the day of our stay the temperature was 34 degrees, possibly more in the room. There was a fan for use in the room, unfortunately when we returned from our evening meal out (8.30pm) we switched it on but it wouldn’t work. I rang the reception which was permanently engaged and was told the next morning that no one is available from 8pm. We slept on top of the bedding with windows wide open but had a very uncomfortable night. This could have been avoided if someone had been available to sort out the problem with the fan. Also if there was a more serious problem I wonder what would happen.
