Property and location were excellent. Family especially enjoyed the kids beach toys and beach chairs provided. There was timely communication with the host and the issue experienced during our stay was resolved quickly by the property manager.

We really enjoyed the condo. Out the gate Andrew was easy to communicate with. He was forthcoming about the property and my questions about the area & the best way to rent equipment we needed for our infant. The check in process was extremely easy & painless but Andrew made sure to make himself available. He also lists all needed info re: the property (exact location, name of residence, parking etc.) so I had all the details needed. Andrew was also extremely responsive when additional questions came up. The property is very close to the beach, less than a 10 minute walk. This is its biggest draw. The beach is private so much less crowded than other areas. We also appreciated the beach wagon and beach amenities provided bc we went to the beach each day. Recommend renting some kind of canopy or tent as this is not an amenity included. This unit is right next to the pool and laundry room which was really convenient as a family of 8 staying. You need quarters or an app for laundry. The one draw back to being by the pool is noise, which you can hear from the balcony/master, which we had the babies crib in. For baby rental items we used BabyQuip & Catherine was great and was familiar with the property. She had no problem working with Andrew & the property manager Kelley. 5/5 stay! Very few critiques: update to welcome manual, seems old. Extra essentials like trash bags, TP, pillows, blankets for sofa bed (which Kelley did provide after a prompt response from Andrew). We enjoyed our stay at the condo. We had five people and there was plenty of space. The walk to the beach was short and we loved that there was a wagon, chairs and other beach items. Location wasn't too busy and there are even a few restaurants within walking distance. The condo was clean, decorated nicely with a beach theme and the owner, Andrew, was easy to work with. Check in and check out were a breeze. The weather wasn't always the best while we were there so we took advantage of the game closet. Kitchen was also well stocked with dishes, pots and pans that allowed us to make some meals at the Condo instead of always eating out. We would definitely stay there again and reccomend to friends and family.

Property was ok. Had a few small issues, but for most part, ok. We thought it was closer to beach and thought we would be able to see water from condo. Beds were comfy.

Our overall stay was good but there were a few hiccups, some not totally within control of the owner. The people who rented before us left the morning before we arrived and damaged things in the unit. This lead to the maint crew needing to fix things in a hurry which lead to the floors being dirty when we arrived and to an incident where a large palmetto bug got into the master bedroom. That kind of set a bad tone for 24 hours as we had to shack out all of our clothes, towels, and shoes looking for anymore. Outside of that one beach chair and the umbrella where broken when we arrived leading to us renting chairs and an umbrella for a couple of days.
The unit is very close to the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. There were plenty to do. I do feel that the unit is overall nice and that some of these issues were beyond the host’s control.

Unit was clean. Guest bathtub had a leaky faucet. Only enough towels and washcloths for one bath. Unit was in pretty good shape but the complex in was in was worn down and not in the best of shape.

This was our second time staying at Chateau LA Mer and we will absolutely be returning yet again! You can't beat the price for the cleanliness, convenience, and location provided! We loved our stay so much! Our whole family agreed it was the best vacation we've had yet!!

Nice and convenient
This property was very convenient to the beach. The owner was very helpful and responded almost immediately to questions. The only thing we didn't like is we wish there was my more than one place to wash off after the beach. You also couldn't wake bare footed in the condo bc it turns your feet black. Other than that we loved it!

Exceeded Expectations!!!
I took my girls on Spring vacation and had a great time. I had communication with the owner from the beginning and he responded quickly to my text messages. The Condo was in a great location, walking distance to the beach. The closest that was full of goodies to take to the beach was very helpful and appreciated. We would definitely come back. We loved our stay!!!

The rental was great and everything was clean and tidy. The weather wasn’t the best for our visit but the condo is a short walk to the beach and sits right behind the heated pool which we used just about every night.

Excellent Accommodations
I absolutely loved the zero hassle check in and check out process. The beach chairs and toys as well as tennis equipment that was provided was a life saver! My kids loved being able to play the card and board games that were available as well. The private beach access was just a short walk and the heated pool was wonderful.

Place is very spacious and clean. Short walk to the beach. Beds very comfortable. Very well decorated. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels in the bathroom, also included were beach toys, chairs, ice chest, wagon, beach towels, umbrella etc.

Great place, great location
Great condo in a great location. Close to the beach with restaurants within walking distance. Host was very helpful and responsive. One of the queen beds was way too firm and uncomfortable, but other than that, everything was perfect a girls’ weekend away. Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic Location!
This condo has a great location! Just a short walk across the street to private beach access. The unit was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The owner was super responsive, and even let us know we could check in early. I’d definitely book this unit again. Tip: If you’ll need to wash clothes during your stay, make sure you bring quarters for the on site washer and dryer.

Quick Get-away
Andrew was very easy to work with. The property was well maintained and spacious. This unit does not overlook the beach but it is only a short walk. The private access beach was clean and offered plenty of room for chairs and tent.

This place was absolutely AMAZING!
Everything was so nice & very well put together. The beds will have a hold on you because they are super comfortable! The owner…. OMG! He was amazing from the very beginning. He personally made sure everything was available to us. We got a little lost with the directions & he got us right to it!! Always a quick response from him. I wish I could personally reach out to him every time we’re in Destin just to stay at his property! I highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed!! We will definitely try to book for our next stay & many after that!!
