The room was excellent. Very generous with the complimentary tea/coffee and toiletries. Lovely bed and TV had plenty of channels. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I've had.

Everything provided was excellent. Road can be noisy outside but not their fault!

We had a family crisis so didn't really stay only to sleep but we had to leave before breakfast and the staff were so understanding

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a useful location for visiting various pretty parts of Wales. The staff were helpful and approachable. eg. my TV wasn't working so I had to get someone to come up and look at it; it turned out that for some reason the previous guest had disconnected the Sky box, unplugged it and pulled out all the wires! It took maybe 30-40 mins to sort it out and reconnect the wifi/satellite etc. Neither of us knew what we were doing but the girl had a good attitude, didn't panic and made sure it was sorted. I'm sure it's not really part of her job description so I appreciated her efforts.

No real negatives. If I had to pick something: there was no cereal/fruit option at breakfast but there was a wide range of tasty cooked breakfast options - something for everyone.

The bedrooms were very disappointing, especially the bathrooms. Plumbing was very noisy, nowhere to hang a towel, glass shelf above the washbasin was sloping so that you couldn’t put anything on it without it sliding off. Door handle on main door was coming away from the door in the outside. We had to get someone to show us how to switch the TV’s on then one of them went off with no signal.

I have stopped there before, when in the Swansea area. Location is good for access to Swansea and other local towns. Dinner was good, breakfast very good. It is comfortable and relatively quiet. I started the following day much refreshed.

Landing carpet needs a clean. With hindsight, a different design might be better.

We absolutely loved loved loved the food The kitchen were really friendly as well and always said hello to us when we were around.

If we were to be really picky - our room had cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and the bathroom fan was full of them. We weren’t overly fussed however the next person might be.

Great service and value for money ⁹

Loved the fact that the family room was 2 rooms and we plus the 2 teenagers had privacy. Lovely sound of the river to fall asleep to.

Bathroom window didn't have a blind and looks out onto main road. But I wouldn't rate it down because of it.

This was my third stay at The Dillwyn Arms, and it keeps getting better! The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent!

WiFi was inconsistent.

Comfortable and clean. a few little issues but sorted quickly and very much appreciated. Very good breakfast choices and very good.
