We had a fantastic time in the North Fork last weekend. The property exceeded our expectations. The location is convenient and has access to many activities. The house is clean and has everything you need (and more) to have a great stay. Whether you enjoy the outdoors (the gated backyard is amazing) or the inside (super cozy), you won't go wrong here. We will definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay…. Property was adorable, well maintained and clean. Would 100% stay again. Only rough patch was having 8 people with limited beds and 1 full bath. The bunk room was super cute but open to the main living area so no sleeping in for those ladies. Overall great stay.

Perfectly located for getting to the Hamptons and the Wineries, this home and property was unique and offered everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. We loved it and would recommend to others!

This property is a rare gem. From the convenient location to the unique property details and amenities, the property owner has thought of everything! This home is a must stay if you find yourself on the idyllic North Fork of Long Island. We applaud Chris for saving the history and character of his home while infusing it with the most modern conveniences in a way that affords space, comfort, practicality and just enough kitsch to draw you into the moment. The property is bigger than the pictures give it credit. We really enjoyed mornings out on the back patio. It is hard to balance decor that honors the heritage of the area while still having a modern feel, but they did. Great job!

There's always a natural concern when renting properties in this manner that you might not get what you were expecting or suchlike. That definitely was NOT the case here! A beautiful house, stunning garden, wonderfully decorated, and all within a short drive to a gorgeous beach with sunsets to die for. Everything about this exceeded our expectations. Amazing restaurants and amenities a short drive away, and our host couldn't have been more accommodating. We'd happily stay here again, and may well just do that some time in the future! A huge thank you to Chris and his family for ensuring our stay was one we'll always be remembering with the fondest of memories. Consider us signed-up fans of Long Island's North Fork!

We loved the house! It was spotless, the yard and firepit was fun and there are a lot of interesting outhouses/installations throughout the yard, and the location was really convenient to beach, fruit stands, restaurants, wineries etc. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you want/need for cooking and the coffee set up was great! Chris was very responsive in advance of our arrival and with our few questions we had while there. One thing to note - our family is pretty tall and the entrance to the master bedroom is less than 6' (a few heads hit on the door frame) and the beds in the loft room (bunks) were pretty tight for my 6'5 son. Living area was perfect - dining table, comfortable couch, big tv! We had a great time, loved the area and hope to visit again in the future!

I stayed with friends for a birthday celebration. The house was really nice and really well laid out for 5 people. The kitchen is great for cooking. The outdoor seating area was very comfortable and spacious. The sheds in the yard were interesting. I think they're an art display. Chris was GREAT to work with and was always available when needed. I would definitely stay again.

I cannot recommend this home enough. The combination of its perfect location, Chris' exceptional hospitality, and the overall wonderful experience made it a memorable stay. We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed all the extra added touches that the owner Chris made available to make us feel right at home. The location being central to all of the great wineries and parks was definitely a plus and the rooms met our expectations. The communication with Chris added to our positive experience. We made great use of the beautiful big backyard roasting marshmallows on the firepit and sitting under the cute hanging lights which created for a nice atmosphere. We plan to return in the future when we visit the area.

We had a great stay in Jamesport! We absolutely loved the location of the house and it was the perfect size for four adults and two children (and a dog) for a long weekend. The dog might have had the best time of everyone— a very cool property to explore!

Had a great time with family. Outdoor space was really nice. Beds comfortable. Bedrooms spacious. Everything updated and nice. Loft room doesn’t have a ceiling so you can hear everything. A little buggy. Property needs to be sprayed but communicated that to the owner so hopefully it’s an easy fix.

From start to finish our experience was perfection. Chris is so friendly and accommodating and the property is exactly as pictured. Adorable with such attention to detail the home has everything you need and more. The outdoor seating area was perfect as we were blessed with beautiful fall weather. It was our daughters wedding weekend and we could not have been happier!

I stayed for the month of August and had a lovely time. The house is spotless and perfect for my friends and family that visited. The grounds are amazing and my dogs loved running around the fenced in property. Chris was easily available when I needed to text him. Close to wineries and lovely beaches. I hope to stay again next year!

We were four college girlfiends meeting up for a vacation and couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here! The property was even better in person than we expected or hoped. Before we arrived, Chris sent us a guidebook about the property and activities in the area, which was super helpful in planning our long weekend!! The inside layout of the house was very open and inviting, and allowed for communication during dinner prep. Kitchen had everything we could want - and more. I set up my computer for a bit and worked at the food bar - great wifi. Beds and couches are very comfortable! Large dining table was perfect for meals and good conversation while looking out to the courtyard through the large picture window. The outside space is lovely - fun to walk around the grounds or relax in the evening under the string lights. We did not take advantage of the high-backed rockers on the wrap-around porch, but they looked delightful for a summer afternoon. The property is close to many vineyards to enjoy tastings of the local wines. There is a bit of road noise, but the property has natural privacy barriers to the road and you don't feel that you are close to the road at all. If you are looking to stay on Long Island's North Fork, I highly recommend this property.

Chris was an excellent host and provided us with a clean, convenient place to stay in the days leading up to our wedding on the east end. This VRBO is very convenient to many local wineries, farm stands, and only 20 minutes or so west of Greenport. There is a lot to like about this property, including the perfectly imperfect reclaimed wood, stained glass, and other unique decor details. The beds are comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless, and the living room space provided ample natural light for an uplifting atmosphere. Chris was very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this rental to couples and families with children, although the property is adjacent to the main road so good to be aware of that.

Everything about this home is perfect. Modern country vibe. Very clean, had all the interior home amenities your need. Bedrooms are comfy, big screen TV's, fabulous living area and dine area. The out door amenities are a dream this was a out door artist studio with little house display, Great for pictures. Out door fireplace. I highly recommend this rental. We plan are returing soon. The Host was kind & gracious.

With 3 adult children scattered in different states, it's quite difficult to find the time to gather together in one spot where there is enough room for us to meet comfortably and spend quality time. This "home away from home" was exactly what allowed us to do what I had dreamed of doing. Upon walking in, I was so relieved (just because you never really know until you arrive!) and continued to be impressed as I walked around and oriented myself in each area. The photos don't lie: the home is as quaint and cozy as they show. However, I didn't expect it to be so roomy! A variety of adults, one infant and two dogs we were at times and never felt crowded. Loved our times around the large dining table with a beautiful view of the yard. Every bit of the home is spotless, all beds are pure delight. Kitchen was so much fun to cook in; I loved lighting up the "retro-looking" gas fire place in the morning while I cooked up breakfast. The wood burning fireplace in living room was fed wood throughout the day just because it made everything so cozy. Chris was a perfect host, loved his online guidebook, and checked in on us each day. I truly look forward to renting this home again.

Family of four looking to spend Thanksgiving outside of the city. Beautiful home with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The highlight for us was the firepit in the back yard. Everyone enjoyed hanging out around it. The guest book was the best I have ever seen. Chris thought of every bit of information about the community you would want or need. Great communication. Highly reccommend!

The newly renovated home and unique grounds are just so beautiful and whimsical. The house itself had everything you could need and you can tell the host’s take pride in their home as well as in making sure your stay is terrific. Even in the colder weather, the outdoor shower is something to experience! We were a group of six women who come to the East End annually and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Went to the North Fork for a long girls weekend and stayed at this property. It was great! The property is a very large corner lot right on the North Fork Winery Trail. The house is charming and was nicely updated and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The house is in Jamesport which is a very convenient location to wineries, farms, restaurants & the beach. There’s a nice size outdoor sitting area with a firepit. Chris was a lovely & very communicative host. I would definitely stay at this property again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was located across the street from one winery and within a mile of two others. Property had everything we needed and more, and was truly unique. We really enjoyed nights sitting around the firepit and connecting with our friends. Looking forward to our next trip back to this property.

This property was PERFECT for what we were looking for. Conveniently situated between the bustle of Riverhead, and the wineries and farms of the North Fork. The house itself is comfortable and quiet. Clean, with modern touches. Communication with the owner was easy and he was very responsive and accommodating. When we return, we hope this house is available because we’ll definitely book again!!

This house is lovely and charming. It is in a great location, close to multiple wineries, farm shops and farm stands and not far from two beaches. You can get a beach pass at the local town dept. - $20. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. There's a fire pit outside with patio furniture to relax on and a large charming property with old huts and farm things. The beds are comfortable and the space is large and airy. One thing that I wasn't super happy about is the old tub in the main bathroom. It is ancient and needs replacing (owner is working on that), but I ended up taking showers in the cute outside shower hut - it was a novelty and worked well on warm summer days. Might not be so great in colder weather. There is one main bathroom (with the tub, no shower) and an updated half bath by the master bedroom. The owner, Chris, responded very quickly to all emails and texts and was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely come back for another getaway (especially once the tub gets upgraded). Thank you Chris.

This was a great find on a last minute search for a getaway on the North Fork, amid the countryside and so close to beach shores - best of both worlds. The home is welcoming, airy, and bright. We particularly enjoyed using the kitchen--spacious with new appliances. It is renovated and nestled within farms and nurseries, but close enough to beaches in Jamesport that are enjoyable for families. Conveniently located near a main road, but also private and surrounded by greenery and comfortable backyard landscaping perfect for entertaining. Highly recommend for a small family looking for an escape from the city, with opportunities to explore many local attractions such as wineries, restaurants, and farm markets. The owners were accomodating, caring, and helpful throughout our stay.
