Everything especially the lounge

Mlamuli, the attendant on site, was one of my highlights. He was there when needed and provided great hospitality. He always dawned a friendly smile and was helpful towards us whenever we requested help. The Electronic blankets did us so much justice as it was a cold rainy night.
There was nothing to complain about ,as we only stayed 1 night and couldn't explore fully.

The place did not have enough pots or even a frying pan for breakfast we were borrowed by one of the staff they need to get cutlery for their guests I was really disappointed because that’s supposed to be a self catering guest house but it seemed as if they went ready for us
The places inside look beautiful but outside looks a bit doggy they need to get a new garage door as well as well as pots, pans and cutlery

Blankets was thin n smelling no bath soap to wash or hand lotions ect...only handwash...the door is open underneath n ontop ..u can litterally hear the other geust loud n clear..we were asked to leav on the dot 10 not given a chance mabe 5min just to finish n collect everything half toilet paper to use

The place doesn't really have a backup plan for loadshedding. It would be nice it they could get a generator or solar as backup.

The beds were super comfy. Isaac the manager was very helpful, even arranged to have wine delivered so that we didn't have to drive to the supermarket.
There was a lot of renovation going on, so the workers were walking in and out of the guesthouse. There were broken things in both the rooms, the bath leaked so water was in the bathroom and bedroom, the toilet made a constant "filling up" noise. Both bedside lights in our room did not work, and one in my parents' room worked. The bathroom window did not have a handle so could not be closed. Just little things that showed a lack of maintenance. The guesthouse has a lot of potential, but needs some TLC, which was taking place whilst we were staying there. The outside braai area is lovely, we enjoyed a glass of wine whilst the sun set.
