Great house, excellent host. Comfortable and accommodating for ages and pets. Highly recommend.

We loved our time in this house. The pool area is so great and the pool is huge. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bedrooms accommodated our three family group easily. Host was always available though we had no issues. We will def be back!!!

We rented Sue’s place to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary with just her 2 daughters, their husbands and their 4 grand children … the bonus was our furry family too. The kids obviously loved the pool and the game room, but we just all loved having space to be together and relax. Sue is a real professional and was so helpful. We appreciate her and would recommend. Happy New Year! P.S. my niece wanted me to say the little closet cubby was her favorite.

This was our second time staying at this amazing home. The number one reason to go is Sue, she is an amazing hostess. Communication is tops, always available to help in any way. She has a heart for families and wants to make sure it is magical for family memories. The house is very nice, clean, well-stocked with TP, paper towels and all the kitchen utensils you will ever need. All the bedrooms are lovely, very comfortable beds. Several areas to congregate. The pool is perfect, stocked with tons of swimming noodles, floats, you name it. I think our kids enjoyed picking through all the toys as much as swimming. Tons of towels, both for the pool and in each room. The laundry room has great washer/dryer and stocked with laundry detergent. Ohhhh also you are greeted with the best welcome basket full of goodies. We also love the location, Vermilion is such a unique town on the coast, we love all the local restaurants, the beach, all the stores. Thank you for giving us this gorgeous worry-free time in your beautiful home.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The home was clean, large and well equipped to fill our needs. The welcome goodie basket was a delightful surprise! Having a bathroom right next to the pool area was great. No dripping all the way through the home. All 8 of us enjoyed our stay.

The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The pool was awesome and the kids’ favorite thing by far. We spent a lot of time in the game room as well. Susan was very communicative and there were no surprises. Vermillion is a neat area with a pretty interesting downtown. We definitely recommend staying here!

We spent our 46th Anniversary with our children and grandchildren. The vacation home was great. Our homeowner was very kind and accommodating. We spent time in the pool every day. The bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. I thank our host for having a clean refrigerator! We even spent time on the beach! Thank you Sue for making our 46th Anniversary memorable.

We rented this home for our family of 11. We all had a great time! Having so many bathrooms and comfortable beds was a real plus! We often took walks around the quiet neighborhood. The teens/young adults thoroughly enjoyed the game room and indoor pool. We recommend this property for your next gathering of family or friends!

This beautiful home and property was such fun! The pool was amazing and well cared for! Everyone had fun in the game room playing anything from different forms of Pac Man, Mario Brothers, Frogger- you name it! The game room was used for family game playing- a great way to make memories! Sue the hostess is so attentive to any needs. We used the front porch, the bistro area, the picnic tables, virtually every corner! The house is so spacious and beds are comfy! If you’re looking for a great spot with a charming little community that doesn’t feel too “touristy”, this is the place for you! Lake Erie was beautiful! We had the best time!

This is our second summer to stay at this rental. Our extended family had so much fun again this year. We love the location. It’s quiet and secluded yet close to the beach and shops. The game room and indoor pool are big hits with the kids - especially when the weather is rainy. The extra amenities are nice too - a huge basket of snacks to welcome us, towels by the pool, paper products and detergents all provided. And to top it all off, Sue is so easy to communicate with. My 4 year old grandson said it best - “We HAVE to come back to this same house EVERY year!”

I have traveled across our country and this home was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. Very clean, great family space, awesome pool, all based in a beautiful community! My grandchildren are already planning our next vacation at the Cliffside Oar House.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The children spent most of the time in the pool and game room. Sue was very easy to work with and very accommodating!

Nice get away for all ages

This was perfect for a family with Grandkids and Kids - 3 generations. Something for every age. It was a better deal than going to Kalahari or Great Wolf and no other people and we cooked all our meals in.

This was a great house and a great host. She made sure everything was perfect for us! We had kids in a large age range travelling with us, and this house had something for everyone! Thank you again, and hope to return!

We stayed 3 nights for my daughter's 13th birthday. She and her friends had a great time in the pool and loved everything. The house is beautifully decorated for Christmas and the girls were in awe of how pretty everything was. Sue was amazing and very responsive and accommodating. The house was great. It was big enough to accommodate our large party..... Bathrooms galore. Nice quiet neighborhood with a large kitchen and room to spread out. The pool and the gameroom were a huge hit with the kids and it felt like summer in there. Easy check in and the owners were very quick to get back to me when I was asking questions prior to renting. I did not have any problems but I feel like they would have been on top of it with the other communications we had.

This property was outstanding! Our family stayed together for our daughter's wedding and all of us thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The home was amazing and spacious, well stocked and the pool was a great option for us. And Sue was phenomenal in her communications and support. Highly recommend!

The sweetest, most helpful host, a heart for family. We had an amazing 12 days at this beautiful home with our family. The pool and game room were both a hit with the kids and adults, keeping everyone happy and busy. Such amazing memories. The home was clean, well stocked with tons of paper supplies and staples. Communication was spectacular before and during our stay. Honestly could not find a better home for our family gathering or a host. Susan was so very accomodating. I can't thank her enough for the success for our family vacation.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was perfect for all of our needs. The bedroom downstairs was great for me. It was great being able to take our pets. The most appreciated thing of all was the indoor pool and game room. The kids were never bored, something we always hear. We came home sad to leave. I have already recommended it to another family. Sue was wonderful to communicate with and answered all our questions quickly. I highly recommend this for an extended family getaway.

The rooms were perfect, the pool was a great hit for all of us, the game room was used as well. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The pictures don't due justice for the house , you need to see it . Will recommend it to my friends & family.

The game room and pool were a huge hit with our family! Sue and Mark are wonderful hosts, and very responsive to minor issues. The place was clean, well supplied with towels, and paper supplies. We were able to bring a boat, two kayaks, 8 bikes and park 4 cars and a boat! We appreciated the "sweet treats" on arrival, and hope to come back with our family again. Thank you!

Our stay at Cliffside Oar House was wonderful. It was spacious and comfortable. The house was very well stocked with everything needed for the stay, including towels, pool towels, paper products, cleaning/laundry products, coffee and tea, games and pool toys. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked plenty of plates, pots, pans, etc. The pool is fantastic and we had a great time swimming as much as we could! The game room and jukebox were a hit with everyone in our family. The bedrooms are spacious and super comfortable. The kids loved the reading nook in the bunk room. Sue was an impeccable host! Communication was fantastic! She really puts forth a lot of effort to make the stay as comfortable and worry free as possible for her guests - even the four legged ones! We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely property!!
