Es un alojamiento ideal si te gustan las aves. Hay un ventanal que se abre a toda la laguna de Orueta, con catalejos disponibles para los huéspedes las 24 horas. Un lujo ver cómo amanece desde ahí. Las habitaciones son sencillas y originales, la cama muy cómoda y todo muy limpio. Y el personal de 10. Yo es la tercera vez que me alojó aquí. El entorno una maravilla si te gustan la Naturaleza y las aves.

The location is absolutely stunning. Being able to watch the wildlife at all hours of the day is very special. The rooms are very clean and well-kept. Good breakfast options. The neighboring towns are breathtaking as are the beaches. And the Castillo de Arteaga is at a comfortable walking distance. First-class dining experience.

I would suggest adding a small nightstand and lamp to the rooms. This would make the rooms feel more cozy at night.

An amazing location to stay at for any birders. Access to the viewing tower as well as the viewing lounge directly from your room. Very good breakfast too and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

This is one of the most memorable experiences ever. For all nature lovers such a place is a must-visit. I wish we had more days there.

a wonderful idea of providing rooms within a bird center! Rowen at the reception is exceptionally warm, smart and knowledgeable.

The Bird Center is in a beautiful location, overlooking the bioreserve. The rooms are rather small, and the beds aren't very big, but they are comfy and provide everything you need. Opening the window lets you hear the many birds. To see them, you go to the observation area, privately for guests, one floor above the one for visitors. There are some decent quality scopes you can use. Access to the watching tower when the centre is closed is nice too. Watching the reserve and the bay preparing for the night, with a beautiful sunset and the next day watching as the mist gradually uncovered the wonderfull landscape before us was certainly one of the highlights of our stay in the area. Breakfast was very good as well. Friendly breakfast-person too.

No lights in the room upon arrival. Notified immediately and they would check. When the center closed they still didn't work and there was nobody left. Luckily we could contact them through WhatsApp and the friendly person managed to send someone over to fix it on this saturday night. Thanks again. We were also unlucky as there was a rock concert going on only a few hundred meters away. (and not a great one either). I imagine it could have been a great experience enjoying the evening in the quiet of this beautiful place, yet I guess we'll have to return one day to verify this. Staff at the desk was very friendly. The people at the observation window weren't very talkative. One was invested giving a private tour to the pretty lady, and the other didn't seem very interested giving any explication about the reserve or the birds. The place is great, but our experience could've been better.

We loved staying right within this utterly magnificent nature sanctuary. There was so much to do, so much to see. The observation areas for residents are exceptional. It was especially gratifying to see flocks of birds appearing at dusk to roost. Bird lovers, put this place on your bucket list and spend at least a night. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Everything at this facility is of the highest standard.
