Lovely apartment in the centre of Hexham with parking, just great. Kitchen with all you need; luxurious bathroom, lounge and a lovely bedroom.

Characterful apartment overlooking Hexham market square. Great location for exploring Hexham. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a comfortable living room. Very friendly and helpful host.

Quite a lot of traffic noise, and awkward stairs to manoeuvre with heavy suitcases.

Perfect location, bang in the centre of town and spotlessly clean.

That I couldn’t stay longer

Location was excellent, right in the heart of the city. The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed.

Parking was very much an issue despite reassurances from the manager that street parking was easily available outside the building. Access to the flat was via a very narrow staircase with low ceiling beams, and awkward inner fire door. Would not recommend this rental for anybody over 5' 10" in height, or with heavy luggage.

the parking was a nightmare , another car was parked outside of the apartment so it took us some time to find a parking space . could do with a coffee table in the sitting room rather than the huge stool . The entrance and stairs up to the apartment could do with a bit of a spruce up .

Everything was great Good location

The central location of the property suited us very well. The shops and restaurants were close by. It was comfortable and surprisingly quiet.

A minor point, but some milk for tea on arrival would have been very welcome. There were some tea bags I had to go in search of a local shop for milk.

A perfect location right in the centre of town.

Parking is a challenge in Hexham which is not within the owners control.Also the apartment is up some fairly steep stairs with heavy fire doors at the bottom of the flights.My husband however coped with them despite being on crutches.

The apartment's location in the centre of Hexham is ideal for visiting Hexham Abbey, the parks and shops. It is within easy walking distance of the rail and bus stations, though look out for the steep hill at Hallstile Bank! The apartment is a hidden gem, well equipped and elegantly furnished - a surprise at the top of the stairs, which could challenge people with mobility issues. Host Susan is very helpful and friendly and goes out of her way to ensure that guests have all that they need.

I cannot think of any more that Susan could do to improve this apartment. It met all my needs.

Great location, wonderful, fabulously decorated property that had all the amenities you could want. Susan was helpful with recommendations and understanding when I was unwell during my stay. Would recommend staying at least a couple of nights to make the most of Hexham and the property!

The only potential downside would be the number of stairs leading up to the property, as that might be tiring/difficult to access for some people. We were fine with it, but did fall a couple of times on the corner step leading out the door.

Location excellent, apartment clean and tidy

I learned very quickly to duck my head, low doors and ceilings, but I am 6ft 4in, and it is an old building.

Appartment has all you need, fully equipped kithen and bathroom. Fantastic location in The market place close to all attractions. Bars and restaurants very close by. The Heart of Northumberland does lovely food.

A lot of stairs up a narrow staircase to get in, wouldn't be suitable for anybody with disabilities. Mattress on bed uncomfortable, manageable for a night or two. However very peaceful and quiet.

Perfect centre of Hexham location, great for visiting all along Hadrian's Wall and surroundings as well as enjoying Hexham itself. Really spacious property, very warm, comfortable and well equipped with lots of nice touches.

Prior info re parking by the property and in town would have helped. Directly outside the property just inside the double yellow lines worked ok for us, but I think we were lucky - the downside of such a central and great location.

Great location, great apartment. Very well equipped, home from home. Gorgeous bathroom, huge comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Toiletries provided, tea tray too. Excellent, loved it. We were contacted by the host to check we were happy and comfortable with everything, nice touch. Highly recommended.

Stairs were a bit awkward but we managed. Would not recommend for the very elderly or people with mobility issues.
