Most enjoyable time away. The location of Palm Island Marina was perfect; quiet with easy access and convenient to many attractions. The condo was likewise perfect; clean, spacious, furnished with many amenities, and most important .... lots of sunlight with a great view. Checking-in and out couldn't be easier. Would definitely recommend the location/condo to others. Look forward to returning!

We enjoyed our stay and found this condo very comfortable. It offered everything we needed. The community was quiet. There were good restaurants close. We will definitely return for another stay.

Buying a home on the water in the area. I have stayed at Palm Island many times and the units are always clean, comfortable and well equipped for a long weekend.

This was my 2nd time renting the one bedroom marina villa at Palm Island Aqua Marina....just as good as the first. The villa was extremely clean, great location, with easy access to Sarasota or Naples. Look forward to visiting Southwest Florida again in the future and renting at Palm Island Aqua Marina!

Our condo was very comfortable and overlooked the marina. It was nicely furnished and the kitchen contained all the equipment we needed to cook meals. There is a nice screened balcony to enjoy. The condo is conveniently located with quick access to the surrounding area. There is a dedicated parking space for the unit.

The bed was old and creaky. Would Like to stay longer but the bed is horrible.The dryer ran but did not dry and the tub would back up while taking a shower. The rest of the unit was fine and the pool was well maintained. Had an HOA person tell us that we had to let in a contractor to check the fire sprinkler system which was weird. Not sure I would stay there again.

Charming accommodations, extremely friendly staff (Erik is wonderful host) and the food was 's all good!!

we stayed at the Marina and were glad we did. Due to the intense Red Algse bloom, I could not stay on the island for any length of time without getting sick. As we were at the marina, we avoided the Rec Algae and were able to go to other beaches easily as well as shop and sight see.
Restaurant was very good, pool hot tub and harbor madter's deck made for great sunset event.
Bed was comfortable, room suited us well. We hope to return someday.

This has become home base for many trips to the Placida area. Great to visit the island but be on the mainland for day trips to the beaches, restaurants and fishing. Many visits over the years.

Great location and lovely condo. We have stayed at this property several times now. Master bedding(frame broken) and pillows need to be replaced, very old and uncomfortable. We will not stay in this unit again until bedding upgrades are made.

Always enjoy the Harborview side of the resort when fishing Charlotte Harbor. We love a ferry ride in the late afternoon for a walk on the beach and a sunset.

The unit was updated, although I'm not sure what made it "deluxe". It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our only complaint would be the mattress, bed frame and pillows. Those could use some updating as well. The reservation staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The only negative is the ants!!! We always bring our own ant spray and keep everything in plastic containers but it is still a problem.

We usually stay on our boat thee but it was gettng repaired and our friends came to stay on their boat for the weekend so we joined them by staying in the condo. It was very nice and we enjoyed out stay very much.

Many things to do out on Palm Island, great food, fun activities and miles of beaches

The mainland is more convenient and enjoyable than the island.

We asked to be placed with the PPYC boating group. Request was months pryer. All was just fine and thank you!

Unfortunately, the unit we were in(at the marina) smelled musty and desperately needed to be opened up and aired out, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have slept in, and the hot water did not last through a shower. Last but not least, a resort in this day and age should always have internet access available to it's guests even if a fee is charged for it. The resort seems more focused on the Island Properties.
We liked the location. Other than the smell, the unit was clean and cute. We would need to give it another try before we could recommend the resort to a friend.

We regret that you don't offer anymore a round trip by ferry for each night of the stay. That is a wrong way to cut costs. We also regret that the watertaxi to Rum Bay is not a free courtesy shuttle anymore. But overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to visit Palm Island once more in october 2008 or february 2009. We look forward to it!

Very good. We really like staying at a place we can go to by boat. After all, this is Florida.

the last time we visited this resort was 20 years ago but we were pleasantly surprised to find that very little had changed. a beautiful place -even the red tide did not spoil the experience.

Beautiful water views from room. Great restaurant on property. Everyone was so helpful. Reasonable rates for a one bedroom.

Villa was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. Rental process was very easy. We enjoyed our visit, and would highly recommend Palm Island Resort.

The condo was very cute but the ants were a big problem as were the ant and roach disks throughout the condo in plain sight and on the kitchen counter (big turn off) I didn't even want to cook in the kitchen... Location was nice but the water taxi should run more often so we could go over to the beach in the morning...

We were delighted to be overlooking the marina and crafts coming and going, from our balcony. Our unit was well decorated and had little extras to make it a very relaxing site. Loved that Leverocks great eatery was just a few steps away.Would highly recommend this resort to those who love water front and relaxation.
